  1. I've tried to keep on top of washing my car to keep it in good shape..especially since road salt eats cars. It's nice that Shell offers a good discount when refueling for their car wash...makes it quik and easy to keep it clean. Anyway, nice to finally see some pics! She's a beauty for sure. The dash looks quite nice and clean. Keep it beautiful and may it serve you well!
  2. Not media's eyes :AH-HA_wink:
  3. I think though I'm not sure Massachusetts is the same way.
  4. Man fly, the Ford is f@#ked up! I saw a Mary Kay DTS the other day too! I have to agree with you, although pink, it's quite nice...much better than say, pepto bismol pink.
  5. I dunno if you're "paying too much" Price out a top level Avenger with all the options and it comes in about 3 grand less than an optioned-out Camry. $33,300 VS $36,829 MSRP I did this on edmunds if you're wondering.
  6. I dunno if "completely" is the right adjective. I see your points, but for every car with a good interior, there was 3 or so with lousy interiors. First gen Neon, 2nd gen Stratus, previous gen (and current gen) Malibu, Cavalier, WindStar, Venture, pre-06 Implala (and even the current one has hard, cheap plastic), Grand Am (horrible plastics and fisher-price quality controls), first gen Intrepid...the list goes on. But yeah, there are cars that had pretty good interiors. Prizm (rattle free, great dash design, quality dash materials and plastic panels, but held back but horribly cheap door handles and some other parts) Shadow (decent design for it's day, simple, soft, padded materials on doors, all armrests, upper dash, well textured plastics, put together solidly though with misalignment) 2nd Gen Intrepid (great design, quality materials for the most part, decent build quality) ...uh...I can't think of a Chevy onlyu because I haven't rid in a 90's one I liked (that I remember).
  7. The dealer told me it would be a 2 hour job and cost close to 200 bucks. He said I might want to just live with it...I agreed
  8. Yeah I guess, but as we've said before. The only way to get respect and sales from Camry and Accord drivers is to give it your all and not cheap out...otherwise why bother? I guess if they can cut costs by sharing underbody parts more or something then that's ok. I dunno.
  9. Maybe I will, test driving is fun. Mushy handling is not for me though I want to drive an Aura first though if you don't mind If it were "dripping with bias", once again, do you think I'd point flaws out of the interior? Do you think I would put down the Sebring? If it were "D1PP1ING W1TH B14S!1!" I think I would have said it's the greatest interior ever or some BS like that, which obviously, it's not. It's fast, it handles good, it's sporty (in R/T trim at least). I like the looks of the car, I like the interior design , and I could live withe the materials, even though they aren't the best (god knows we've lived with low-rent interiors form Ford, GM, and Chrysler for years yet we still bought them) so if it helps you sleep at night, you can call that bias (or an opinion if you'd like to be factual). If I were bias I'd never take shots at Chrysler, yet I do. So...potato.
  10. It's probably a prototype, not really a true concept.
  11. Everyone's interiors sucked back then, and not just Chryslers...in fact it's only now that GM and Ford are making decent-to-nice interiors
  12. I don't think they said that (this isn't Toyota after all). Besides, GM and Ford have crossovers, Dodge is getting one and, for now at least, there's the Pacifica. Domestics have BOF SUVs because they know how to make them (I think we can all agree the GMT-900s, Expedition, and even Durango are better than the Sequoia and Armada).
  13. Ding! But why cut costs "elsewhere"? Why not just raise the price a little. Making quality products means putting effort into all areas.
  14. Funny, I recall Toyota saying that it wasn't "going to go easy on the Bog 3 anymore" yet they're wussying out of the heavy duty truck market. Too bad about the Titan though...it would have been neat to see what they would have come up with.
  15. I've always liked the Stealth...with the exception of that stupid spoiler they put on it. I prefer the 3000GT's mounted at the end of the decklid to the Stealth's spoiler, which was mounted just behind the glass. Dude, you should make that your first car if you've always liked it. I have loved the Viper since it came out in 1992(?). I have a poster of the R/T-10 (although I like the GTS better). It's the embodiment of everything that makes a great car. Power, handling, raw simplicity of it. It had none of those stupid electronic nannies that cars today are strapped (and often times plagued) with. I have always been a Mopar fan, my family has bought mainly Chrysler products, and they will always be the first on my list of potential cars. However I love cars in general, from the GTOs of yore to the Mustangs of today...to the sexy Skyline GT-R
  16. I've always had a soft spot for that generation Maxima...but at the same time I liked the Alitma too. Both have less-than-perfect rear ends but I like them overall. The Volvo is nice but probably not much of an engaging drive. The GP is ok...but the cheap interior, odd styling, and old platform really conspire against it. I'd probably go for the SE-R.
  17. There's a Japanese band called "The Flying Testicles"
  18. Take away the text and I'd use it.
  19. Better, but still out of proportion.
  20. That feels like it's missing an adverb "I really, really want to to make a hard fart." sounds even better Passing gas, braking, wind, cutting the cheese, cleaning out the colon, etc...it's all good and very few things feel so good.
  21. So the Mustang had an unfair advantage in that it had nitrous. The Viper drive is an idiot.
  22. I like them both myself.
  23. Score one for siegen
  24. Just don't race a Neon SRT-4 NOS...you wouldn't want your arse handed to you by a Neon would ya?
