Wow that interior is very nice and it looks huge! The exterior is quite handsome too...and even the wheels look good. -
GM to Unveil 2 New Concept Cars in China

But once again..what makes a Buick a Buick and a Pontiac a Pontiac? Plastic cladding? Boringly curvy shapes? Being ugly? FWD on old platforms or rebadges of Chevies? All they have going for them is the grills... -
It's not gone!

They actually were pretty fair to the trucks...no real bashing in any of them, and all of them were given some positive comments...good review.

2008 Impreza
Intrepidation replied to Chris_Doane's topic in New York International Auto Show (NYIAS)
Yes it is...nothing sold in this country is that ugly...not even this. Here's a few pics of the sedan...if the front end was better it might look alright. It kinda reminds me of a Suzuki from this angle... The interior is however, quite handsome. -
\Fair enough Still, the graphics don't impress me much...are the mechanics any better than the old Test Drive games?

If you can't tell the difference between the Avenger and the Dakota than maybe you should get you eyes checked. Avenger Dakota This "same/similar interior" thing isn't much different than the fact that GM uses the same dash in the Avalanche, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, and uplevel models of the Silverado/Sierra. The difference is that they're good interiors, and I will give them that..but why can't they come up with something different from the GMC vehicles? Although, at least they aren't gray in all their photos like the DCX vehicles seem to be. Wanna talk similar designs? Tahoe interior VS Lucerne interior...the look pretty dammed similar. -
It's still shiny, and that's all that is needed to atttract most people's attention.

The Camry headlighs look nothing like these headlights...remember most headlights have the same overall shape..rectangular.
-
Did you try downloading the new drivers? Also, has your friend ever played GT4 with progressive scan on and the resolution up (requires HDTV)?

2008 Jeep Liberty
Intrepidation replied to Chris_Doane's topic in New York International Auto Show (NYIAS)
Then it's not so pointless now is it? Seriously. I think proportionally it looks great...I think they could shrink the headlights a bit but overall it has a very nice exterior...the interior...well...yeah. The dash is 80% of what you'll find in the Nitro, with a different guage cluster, at least the door panels are different...so it's not identical. I wonder if the materials are any better? I'd like to see larger/better photos. -
I'm pretty sure we're all aware that they're small cars.
-
So are you running the game at max settings? There seems to be a lot of aliasing...and where's the reflections? I'd say GT4 is still graphically superior.

Wow, go Mazda...that's some impressive numbers!

SEOUL, S. Korea — Hyundai Motor took a step closer toward producing a pickup truck for the U.S. market, with the announcement on Tuesday that it was considering such a vehicle following a trade deal with the U.S. But the timeline for such a vehicle in the Hyundai lineup remains vague and could be years away. "We will conduct a feasibility study [on the pickup model] as a long-term project, depending on the elimination of tariffs," Hyundai said, according to Reuters. The U.S. on Monday agreed to immediately remove tariffs on cars with engines 3.0 liters or smaller and auto parts from South Korea. The agreement also called for the elimination of tariffs for pickups in 10 years. For years, Hyundai's American dealers have been urging the automaker to flesh out the lineup with a pickup truck. The brand's American executives and engineers have acknowledged for several years that the company has been considering adding a pickup. But the new U.S. trade pact finally makes the long-term plan for a pickup truck a little more realistic. What this means to you: There could be a Hyundai pickup in your driveway in the distant future. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=120247 What this actually means: Once more the US government makes it easier for foreign companies to import and does jack $h! to help the domestic automakers.

Intrepidation replied to Flybrian's topic in Chevrolet
Wow, all of them are really cool little cars. I like the Trax the most I think...the Groove kinda reminds me of the new xB. -

My ASS had it's best-ever month of most times on the crapper... That was a random comment...I'm just tired of that "best-ever" BS they say every damn month...they could at least put a new spin on the phrase. On another note, I'd like to know how the Altima sales stack up against the Camry, because I have seen more of those than Camry's.

Some of this is carryover from the end of March A blue Tundra (total seen is now 4) A white Silverado extended cab A blue Sliverado regular cab with no bed and (get this) the front fascia and grill ripped off it... A white Rolls Royce Phantom super stretch limo A few Auras, including a gold one A few Sebrings A LOT of new Altimas in all kinds of colors (from green to black to white to gray to sliver)...I sware in the short time this car has been out I see more of these than Camrys...do you guys see this many? A black Ram Megacab A blue Compass More Calibers A white Dodge Durango limited (I think the refresh has made them very handsome) A black Escalade XUT A sliver S-Class A white Escalde ESV (first one of those I've seen) A dark blue Tahoe A red Nissan Versa, and a white Versa with an unpainted bumper A late 60's Firebird And finally...an early 90's F-series...with the front end, windshield, dashboard (basically complete A-pillar forward) and NOTHING behind that...not even a frame...I should get pics.

For all that is good, just, tasteful in this world she had better not.

If the power supply overloaded that could have severely damaged your system. My overloaded but luckily it has over voltage protection which keeps the damage to itself and not the other parts. Is this a brand computer like an HP or is it a custom one with more easily interchangeable parts? You should consider ABIT, ASUS or Foxconn...I'ave had experience with ABIT and Foxonn and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I haven't tried an ASUS motherboard but they make good products and the mobos get good reviews.

Vinyl can feel as good as leather too The computer chair I hve is made out of vinyl but its so soft I thought it was leather when I first looked at it in the store. -
The rear-end looks a lot better too. This is a fairly estensive makerover...even the rear windows behind the rear doors are different.
