  1. Interior is cool...exterior...not so much.
  2. Chrysler of the 90's has much better interiors...the only progress was with the Pacifica and LX cars. Everything else is worse than teh vehicle they replaced...except the Avenger...anything is better than the interior the Stratus had. Thanks Mercedes for starving Chrysler!
  3. Dude, if you're gonna buy a first car try buying something that doesn't require assloads of work right off the bat. Buy something you can drive and live with without having to worry about breakdowns and so on. Fieros GTs are sweet, but start small and work your way up to a project car after you have a daily driver.
  4. They forgot to add rear fendwers..it might look sorta cool if it had good ones.
  5. Quoted for truth
  6. I know that and so does Carbiz, although I think the 4.7L's improvements are helped by borrowing tricks from the 5.7 hemi, if I'm not mistaken. It puts out 290 horsepower now, that's best in class by about 30 horsepower (give or take). It's a much better engine now than it was. There's also the V6 for those who want something more fuel effecient. I have a question since Isuzu was up...why oh why did they not bring their D-Max over isntead of slapping their badge on the Colorado? It's the best looking of the trucks IMO, and it's actually different.
  7. Further reason why I hate organized religion.
  8. So my familt and I went to mass today...I'm not really religious for various reasons, but my mom insisted so we went (this includes my girlfriend). Partway through the mass the priest asked everyone to raise their had and repeat what he said (I forget the words), but this is exactly what it looked like: My girlfriend said that honestly scared her...and when you thin about it it is kinda freaky...it's like a cult...a really big one. Ain't religion great? (not really, but it can be entertaining).
  9. Gravity is only a theory but when you jump up you tend to fall down...guess what kids? That's gravity!
  10. Well the Dakota also has a reputation for "just right" size, as well as V6 and V8 options. The botched up the redesign by giving it an awkward front end and a V8 that basicaly outclassed by Nissan's V8. The rectified it wih a nicely upgraded 4.7L, and gave it a better front end...sales should improve if they advertise it. The Colorado's problem is that it only has the one engine...give some options for people who want more power and not just good gas mileage.
  11. One of the worst, and most idiotic commercials I've seen in a while.
  12. If the deer had been scared away by his stinky pits that would have been kind of funny...it was just stupid...and yeah the tent crack was pretty obvious.
  13. They sold one and the owner returned it for a refund?
  14. Brand famous cladding is Pontiac. And yes, the Legacy is a very attractive car, so is the Outback wagon, and so is the pre-refreshed Forester.
  15. A couple Mark LTs A new Navigator (black) A dark blue Solstice.
  16. Looks like I'm gonna have the day off tomorrow...gonna be going to my cousin's for lunch after church (sleep time) for lunch, then going out to dinner with family friends.
  17. I hope it gets Jeremy Clarkson gets his hands on it and blows the living hell out of it. It's a hideous car, and riced out it's even worse...I like the current Tiburon a lot...not those ugly crap boxes Let's see... 2 new Escapes, 1 red 1 blue a Silver Edge (now I've seen 4 total) a black MKX (first one) a dark blue Porsche 911 a dark blue Porsche Boxter a lighter blue Porsche Cayman a black Acura RL a Sliver current gen Q45...the only one I have ever seen 5 Sliverados...2 gray, 1 blue, 2 white (one with lots of stickers) a black Acadia 3 more Sebrings; 1 blue 2 silver a couple Camries a red Altima 2 Wrangler Unlimiteds, 1 with the hard top, 1 without...both green a green Wrangler (must be a popular color...I like it too) a white Chrysler Aspen Limited...with the 20's a blue GTO with the sports appearance package a riced out Eclipse in an awesome dark purple/blue color and tasteful wheels but a huge wing and a snow plow for a front fascia a riced out Civic with giant dual "hood scoops" a light blue late 60's GTO for sale a 1959 Buick LeSabre 1984 Datsun 810 Maxima 1984 Datsun 810 Maxima 1964 Oldsmobile Super 88
  18. It looks even better in person, and the gauges are so cool! I was lucky enough to see it today (erm, yetserday0. Congrats again Sixty9! (yes i meant that).
  19. Well that's sorta what I ment, refined and/or quiet was the subject of the thread...I dunno if I didn't word it well enough
  20. The Prizm's 1.6 is pretty Rev-happy...you need to rev it to get the most out of the engine (such is the case with Japanese 4 cylinders), but it sounds good when you Rev it...I like hearing the engine...it feels alive and eager. I have no idea what it idles at, because it has no tach (the only car that doesn't..and the only one with a manual of course). The Shadow's 2.5L is actually pretty quiet when the catalytic convector isn't rattling around, and when it's cruising up to 50 it's fairly quiet too...it also sounds good under light acceleration. However above 3000 rpm it sounds very raspy, and when it first starts up when it's very cold out it runs rough, but smooths out as it warms up. It idles at about 1000 rpm, but tends to fluctuate every now and then.
  21. Could be worse, they could be steering off the side of the road a la Tundra. Is anyone really surprised the top leaks? It's so funky to begin with.
  22. Doesn't in any way kill the Hyundai, but they are both handsome, understated cars.
  23. Malibu or Aura (you can always get different wheels)...have you considered an Avenger R/T or do you hate it?
