1. The Ram's no more obese than any other full size truck. At least it has some excuse, being the oldest truck on the market. The Tundra's not even a year old and the intensives are already more than half that of the Ram. At the rate Toyota is going they will literally being giving them away by the time it's as old as the Ram is!
2. LSD,
3. I'm sorry we weren't able to visit you and see your awesome cars knightfan But it simply means we'll have a good reason for another road trip! :AH-HA_wink:
4. The Porsche, however capable it may be, is ugly, and is a blasphemy in the lineup.
5. That's nuts. Hey Fly, I saw an Aurora at the junkyard yesterday, I shoulda checked the year and grabbed the dials to throw in the LeSabre
6. Intrepidation

iPhone

It sounds pretty cool, although despite being tech-savvy, I have yet to own an iPod
7. I spy a missing dial!
8. And I feel obliged to call you a stupid f@#king asshole. You met a mature response with name recalling. Good on you. The only real flaws in the design are the roofline and the back triangle behind the rear windows. But that is still a matter of opinion. There are plenty of people who like the styling and have no problem with it, just as there are plenty who dislike it, and those who like or dislike Mazda designs. We can discuss to death how good it may or may not be, but everything stated thus far is mere opinion. I see no need to go into details since you threw civility out the window. You go on and on about how you don't like a car's design, so automatically is must be a failure, and everyone should agree with you that it is a bad design, at least this is how many of your posts seem like.
9. And there you go, a subjective opinion, not fact. I have nothing wrong with it as an opinion, but everything you stated is just that.
10. If you hated Clarkson before you'll want to gouge out his eye sockets and mount him on a pole. I don't, but even though I don't like the PA I still felt bad for it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=txnPr2CCdfs&amp...ted&search=
11. The GS is quite handsome, I like it better than the old one.
12. I <3 A/C...both in the cars and in my room
13. You can get a GE air conditioner for 90 bucks at Wal Mart.
14. I stand by my previous statement
15. Don't worry, I didn't miss you either.
16. Short memory huh?
17. I blame Tall Paul! (but he had to be back by Monday). Also, ocn, you were away that day anyway
18. The `57 is a beautiful car, especially being the 2-door hardtop that it was. There were many restored (and original) Belvederes of different body styles. The 2-door hardtops are just gorgeous. As for this one, the engine is gone, and so are the the leaf springs, floor plans, and interior, but much of the body is covered in surface rust and dirt...not rusted through. When they wiped the dirt off the bumpers the glistened like mirrors.
19. Sixty8's got all of the photos, which he'll put on discs tomorrow, from there we'll begin the long task of posting them. As for the Intrepid, it averaged 26 or so mpg...I believe the best tank was 28mpg and the worst was 24mpg.
20. 4,300 miles and we're back (as of last night after almost non-stop driving)! It was a blast, so many stories to tell, so many things to see (and hundreds of pictures to post), and one very, very dirty Mopar . Full Story and photos coming soon to a thread near you! -I've been everywhere, man-
21. Now there's a mature comment. Always a one sided argument, but as you mentioned, there are two sides to every story. As usual you've left out anything that involves the US makers being at fault. "Oh poor us! Japan has so many advantages over us and we can't compete!" Their government protects and helps them because their government actually gives a $h! about them. It's not their fault the US government would rather just let the domestics die. And of course we can't forget the utter crap that Detroit spewed out for quite some time. Once more, this all has been debated to death, and once more, there neither Japan Inc. nor the Big 3 can take the full blame for what has happened. It's shared.
