  1. I love reading your posts, always full of supreme pwnage. Quoted for Truth.
  2. I love the black interior.
  3. I sat in a Veracruz, and it's interior is very, very nice..it demolishes the Edge's interior...which was in the same lot...but the exterior ruins it. I hope it looks as good as the concept.
  4. No one posted a thread for July...oh well. I saw my 3rd evar Outlook in gold. I also saw a beautiful all-original gold `69 Eldorado.
  5. Nice to see another person who doesn't pointlessly bash Chrysler because it's a Chrysler. The controls are all laid out very well and are easy to reach...my only issues with the ergonimcs of the car are: The cruise control stalk...it's located in an awkward position...I prefer it mounted on teh steering wheel like the LH models...but that's been adressed so no worries. The other thing was that the wheel seemed really big and kinda skinny...I could live with it but I just happen to like smaller and thicker wheels. The dash is not for humping, sleeping or sitting in folks...please keep that in mind while driving
  6. That interior looks beautiful...I hope since Chrysler hired the interior consulting firm that is responsible for Hyundai's new interiors we'll see some stuff like this in the Chrysler showrooms.
  7. That is extremely impressive...if I did teh numbers right, it means that the 1.8L will produce 242 horsepower, and 288 lb.-ft. torch...while getting 40 mpg. In your face Lexus.
  8. Ready To Compete on a World Stage http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drive...photopanel..1.*
  9. I'd much rather have the I4 and 6-speed combo...it's a brillant move on GM's part to offer a 4 cylinder car with 6-speed...they actually beat Toyota to this in the segment. Not only do you get better fuel economy but you get the most out of teh engine....making the car faster. I wish they would apply this to the Cobalt...although it's 4-speed is quite good, I have found it asleep at the wheel a couple times.
  10. Well it's another trend the market has been gravitating towards. In the `90's hideaway cupholders were all teh rage, but most cars these days have exposed cupholders, but they are trimmed in "metal" of some type to make them look upmarket. The console itself looks to be higher off the floor than the old one, as the arm rest isn't nearly as high off the console as it is in the old one...although the actual hight of the armrest looks unchanged.
  11. Besides new lenses out back, I don't see any differences. The interior is a little more evident...the center stack no longer flows into the center console...a trait that's been happing a lot in cars lately...it has the new corporate stereo, The center console is noticeably different with a new armrest design, cupholders and shifter area...the silver trim looks nice and better IMO than the chrome stuff. Door panels are new as well, and so are the vents. If the materials are upgraded it should be pretty sweet...the current materials are pretty good anyway.
  12. What makes less sense is that it makes less power in the LX cars than the LH cars.
  13. Or, if they were smart, they;d offer a 4 cylinder with a 6-speed automatic...(which the Malibu will have) cheaper, faster, less weight, more trunk space, and better gas mileage. The Mild Hybrid is not a good marketing tool, which is all these hybrids really are anyway. The other 2 impress with good mpg and good acceleration...the Aura does neither. Its cheaper, but you're always reminded of why it's cheaper...this has been a philosophy of the domestics for many years and look where that's got them.
  14. Oh, I see.
  15. They should really dump the 2.7L from all 3 cars but the 300 if nothing else. I also don't get the "new faux wood" ...isn't the current model available with real wood?
  16. Too bad they aren't doing any testing in the Boston area Why don't production Equinoxes get that fascia?
  17. He nagged some pretty sweet ones, and a bunch of other cool stuff...one of these days I need to post photos from that road trip.
  18. Well I've got lots to say but I'll leave that for later. Not all hope is lost, we'll say that...not by a long shot. Also, It drives like it was never hit, and it's plenty quick enough to make the Cobalt work to keep up with it.
  19. That's a beautiful car.
  20. Are they going to do this to the Coupe? It might look better...never cared for the looks of the sedan, although I no longer find it hideous.
  21. What about a Jeep or a first gen Durango? I always liked those. If it's only GM you'll buy, then I'd say a `90s Suburban...hauls stuff in a closed space but has penty of room for said stuff...and can seat more if need be than a truck. Plus it's as capable as a pickup.
