  1. The voice of experience?
  2. I wonder why a tail light is missing?
  3. I actually like the way that one looks.
  4. Perhaps one of the reasons so little has been said about the future of the PT is because Chrysler is trying to figure out it's own future...stay where it is or move upmarket. If they move upmarket (which I think they should) than the PT is out of place because it's not an upscale vehicle...remember it was originally designed to be a Plymouth. On the one hand it would be unwise to discontinue a sales success or let it waste away with no redesign, but how well would it fit into a more upscale Chrysler if Chrysler follows that route...and would it be a sales success if it became more upscale (more expensive). The sad part is that it's a big sales success...if it had been a Plymouth like it was supposed to, we might still have Plymouth.
  5. To clarify, it's not a car (hence why it's not in the automotive trivia)
  6. What is... Rarer that a Bugatti Veyron Makes more horsepower Is faster Has 4 superchargers Have fun!
  7. Gray Maserati Coupe Black Dodge Viper R/T 10 a blue `89 Cavalier with blue painted hubcaps, wood grill, and 3 Impala badges on said "grill"
  8. Well...earlier this year the Prizm would do something funky like this. Sometimes the gas pedal would get "suck:" or something. When I had the pedal down to accelerate hard (like for passing) and would let go the car would still be accelerating. I'd have to take it a couple time to get it to stop. The car didn't have floormats at the time, and unlike the Cobalt, it's carpet is secure. This happened several times...I could never figure out if it was getting caught on something or what, but eventually the problem went away. Also, the floormat thing is kind of weak...in my experience, when a floormat "bunches up" by the pedal, it prevents pedal travel, thus hindering acceleration...
  9. I know where PCS is heading!
  10. The gray interior still looks like meh but give it color and it looks very nice and distinctive...there are too many cutlines around the center stack area, and the door panel design could be better, but the details look like they are there and that's what every GM car before it has lacked. The back doesn't look so bad anymore...NOS' chop is still better but I've seen worse (the entire current Malibu). The first picture really makes the Malibu look lik it needs bigger wheels, but in the other photos it looks fine. The unique interior colors combined with class-exclusive 4 banger/6 speed should help set this car apart. I look forward to seeing one in person!
  11. I'm gonna take a while guess and say it'll look something like this:
  12. I LAWLed at these. If it does climb again I'll ask for a raise to offset the price of delivering...did I mention I hate assholes who don't tip?
  13. Well when you use those photos yeah...especially since you chose a monotone picture of the current one. The old one does look more swoopy and I do like in some ways better (all the photos I saw of the old until now were poor quality and I've never sat in a pre MCE PT). I think the new one's is cleaner (less cluttered looking). My real complaint with the interior are the seats...very narrow and uncomfortable...I don't know if all of the seats are like that, butthe ones I sampled were.
  14. I think they did fine withe teh front end...but everything from the A-pillar back is garbage. It looks like a hunchback....and it's interior makes a Jeep's look luxurious in comparison.
  15. None of that sounds particularly new or exciting besides the Opel concept...
  16. Interior borrows a lot from the G35, but that's ok...it looks fabulous..especially with those rich colors. The exterior I don't like much...I hate that character line as it reminds me of the Elantra...but maybe it will look better with some better photos. This interior + FX exterior = awesome vehicle.
  17. By your logic the CTS, STS and every other Cadillac look the same and not different enough because the front ends all use the same styling cues...vertical lights, same shape grill, etc.
  18. It's pretty easy to tell the differences between an M and a G, as he said, any self respecting car enthusiast can tell the difference. As for the roofline, you must be blind or trying desperately to knock the car. The rooflines aren't even the same...if you need proof for yourself because your eyes aren't good enough to do the job open up PhotoShop, put the cars in layers, turn down the opacity of the top layer and there ya go. Anyway, I like the changes to the rear...they make it look a lot better...which is good because IMO the rear was the only real weak point of the car's design.
  19. Considering how much worse it looks than the previous generation (which itself looks worse than it's previous generation, and considering that they did, in fact, use those nasty, ugly, bulging headlights like what the Camry has...I have decided to post a series of photos in tribute to Toyota:
  20. I think they may discontinuing the PT...or replacing it with something not retro...but I'm not sure.
  21. Awesome
  22. Oh my, they made it worse.
  23. Those wheels look great...the interior looks better too...although the A-pillar gauge looks cheap and tacky.
