  1. I even found a birthday rice cake! Have a great birthday siegen!
  2. Are you basing this on the dimensions of the vehicle or interior dimensions? I haven't checked that press release out so I dunno.
  3. I still want one
  4. Speaking of which, there's a H3 by work that has a huge misalignment with the rear fender flare...I though that was a one-piece stamp but I guess it's just poorly aligned plastic.
  5. One can only hope they do a better job at sticking them on than that Acura I posted Equinox redesign?
  6. I also prefer the ease of use of a digital camera, and if you've got a high megapixel one the photos can look very high quality. However if you like taking photos you should deffinately give 35mm a try...not so much color but Black and White. Like I said, teh clarity and sharpness you get from it is amazing. If you're fortunate enough to be able to learn to develop and print it too (I took Photo I last semester) it's a very rewarding experience. I used an Olympus IS-20 for that class, although I have a very old Minolta too. I need a new digicam like yesterday.
  7. I like the interior better than the Camry's especially with the interesting colors. Fly makes a good point about the ease of use of the controls...but we've seen them before...in almost every GM product outside of Cadillac (oh, wait, the BLS). The door panels look like more thought needed to be put into their design but they ran out of time or money, at least based on photos. What I love about the Accord's interior in addition to the pleasant colors (their shades of black and tan are very nice) is the attention to detail that goes into it. The center stack may have a lot of buttons, but 1.) You'd get used to them easily if you owned the car 2.) they look special and not like they were pulled out of another Hinda. While I don't care for the Camry's center stack (or the rest of the interior), they same can be said for its design...it doesn't feel like it was pulled out of a Corolla. The Accord's interior give you the impression that no corners were cut and every aspect was treated with the same about of attention to detail. Based on that, the Malibu interior doesn't hold up. If the materials are good and build quality is good than it may be forgivable, but it's still playing second fiddle.
  8. You have to admire Chrysler's reluctance to stick a fender vent on every new or MCE'd vehicle in it's lineup...unlike some companies.
  9. While the small interior updates help...they don't help nearly enough. Even if the tactile feel of the switchgear is fine, the appearance looks awful. I mean, look at it...the center stack has very little detail work...it's almost all black-sh for the controls...I don't seen any nice chrome rings or trimmings around it. The Cobalt has more detail work than this on it's center stack. It's all about the details at this price...there should be no excuses. The SLS interior still crushes the STS' The exterior looks better with real world photos although I still think the grill feels a bit out of place with the rest of the car. The fender vents are okay but lack thought or imagination like say what you'd find on a Jaguar. They don't feel like part of the car, they just look tacked on. the color is gorgeous though.
  10. In the picture it looks almost the same as the current model save for some styling tweaks...I hope the actual car is more dramatic.
  11. Well, I mean if it's not one's cup of tea than fine (which shows it still is distinctive if not everyone likes it), it's just the "well I don't like it so it must suck as a fact" attitude that's...less than mature.
  12. Oh Fly, you know I like to dish it since have to take it every once in a while, it's good clean (like a Green Line) fun
  13. Vue, G6, G5, Green Line (reminds me of the train line in Boston), HHR, HHR SS, LaCrosse, Malibu SS (a joke in itself) are all stuper duper names! LOL Fly you reminded me of the banned Durango commercial...so it's not like I can deny that their names do indicate it
  14. Yesterday I was on my way back from a delivery when I new Tundra passed by on the main road I was turning onto. It was loaded with 2 queen mattresses tied to the top of the bed with some stuff under it in the bed itself and the tailgate down. I was thinking to myself "Huh, someone's actually using it for it's purpose. But a second later I noticed that the tailgate seemed warped. Curious, I turned onto the road and followed it a little ways instead of going down left side of the fork in the road I went right (the way it was going). I thought may be it was an illusion, since the outer sheetmetal is rounded...but looking at it I saw that inside part with the bedliner did indeed look warped...like the middle of it was sagging down a bit. So I have to wonder...is this something that has occurred in more than one Tundra or what? I mean, the load it was carrying didn't look overly heavy or anything...and the items weren't even resting on the tailgate.
  15. I prefer headlights that run with the lines of the car not bulge out needlessly...the Solstice is an exception, but at the same time the Sky's flush mounted lights look better, IMO. In an attempt to steer the thread back on course, BV, have you ever worked with 35mm film such as TMax, or do you prefer solely digital cameras?
  16. I think the powertrains are fine for the most part...the 4-banger is only for fleets and bargain hunters anyway. Most people will probably op for the 2.7L...a 6-speed should be at least optional for it though. It amazes me how people on the forum will find anything to bitch about that they possibly can about a Chrysler product. Styling is too bold they call it ugly, styling is conservative they call it "bland with no thought put into it" Personally, I think the styling is very nice. It's clean and tidy and looks good from every angle. It's not as bold as say, a Charger, but plenty of thought went into the design and to say otherwise shows just how ignorant you are. I haven't checked actual dimensions yet but is this the size of a Rav4 or is it bigger? I'm really curious to see more photos of the interior...and to know if quality gins have been made in the materials department...is also wonder what the suspension tuning will be like.
  17. Yeah , well somehow "Charger" or "Magnum" feels more meaningful than, say, "G8"
  18. No locking diffs on the Land Cruiser? So it's a p*ssy mobile now. That's what the damn Sequoia is for....the Land Cruiser is for offroad performance...way ruin any credibility the name had left Toyota.
  19. But you know, it's pretty inconsiderate to talk down about the owners of less classic Corvettes (or vehicles in general) just because they aren't classic...because they no doubt love their cars. It's very fortuneate that no one was killed, poor cars though!
  20. Oh Subaru, you have the current Legacy/Outback for good looking models and that's...about...it...
  21. Well, there's an Audi A4 Avant running around with 4 ventiports on each fender and another 4 on the lower rear bumper...
  22. Well, there's an Audi A4 Avant running around with 4 ventiports on each fender and another 4 on the lower rear bumper...
  23. Just not those crappy Autozone ones that everyone has. Get a set like what's on the Lucerne...I like the style of those a lot.
  24. I was just gonna say I want one that says "1337"! I saw a C6 once that said "sweet" for the vanity plate.
