Why not just let her buy one then? I'm that way, where I like having my car for a long time...so I can relate to that desire The Vue would be great, and GM has a good warranty...if you're really concerned about warranty VS mileage you could consider a Chrysler product...hey...it's American at least

But...t3h OVERHANGS!1!!11!1 There is a place for the Crown Vic, but when you need to chase down a suspect or get to the scene of a crime or accident or what have you, the Charger/Magnum are the way to go. Oh, and LOL @ the Crown Vic's piss-poor fuel economy. The LX has the same ratings with far more power.

Reminds me of an Infiniti from that angle. I'd have t say it looks alright from what I can see so far...but i have yet to see one in person. The coupe is definitely the looker of the two (no surprise) interior looks great...I'll have to see it in person. Do all dealers let you take photos?

Yes but t has compariably poor performance, weak handling, cheap interior, and unrefined engine (and that's straight from edmunds, the guys who normally love Toyota products).

Didn't cost me a dime Restoration kit is, as said before, a 60 or so page kit that tells you eveything you could want to know about your car, and lists GM parts and machine shops and so on...do you guyds read the posts before asking? If they were to send a letter of apology for building a car it would be for the J-bodies before the Prizm :AH-HA_wink:

While the Quest deserves credit for thinking outside the box, I find the exterior to be discusting...the concept looked better. That being said, the MCEed interior, basing on the photographs, looks richer and more inviting than the T&C. I haven't sat in either, so it could be the materials, color choices and/or camera quality...but it looks more inviting.

It's plain, unimaginative and the plastics may not be suitable for gliding my butt across them, but it's clean and restrained and if nothing else doesn't look cluttered. T&C looks far nicer inside, and I agree Dodge shouldn't cheap out on the trim and such you get on the upper models... LOL you think the Asstek looks better than the Nitro or even the Endeavor...sorry dude but that's just too funny

The only way I could see a "new" car I could see entering the household is if my mom decides to replace the Shadow,m which would then be handed down to my little brother. I have no idea what it'd be replaced with...I'd still like an Aurora to join the ranks...it it may be to expensive, and another Prizm might end up joining the fleet...or maybe a first gen LH model..who knows.

Oh Dude, when I tried to put my Sony CD player into the Prizm from the Shadow it was a nightmare because many of the colors don't match up and the wiring diagrams are useless. I managed to get it hooked up only because my friend with the Corolla has the same stereo...but the Pioneer stereo that came out of it to go in the Shadow still isn't cooked up right! best of luck, sorry I can't help.
