  1. I really regretted not bringing my good camera today. I had to make do with my cell phone's measly 3.2 Megapixel camera. Y U NO GRAMMAR
  2. Sweet merciful crap, a Toyota you say?! You mean you've given up on $h!piles that always break down? Oh the humanity! Funny I was wondering the other day which side of the Earth you fell off of, good to see you. Please make a serious consideration to waste more otherwise productive hours of your life here. So what kind of Toyota is it?
  3. You are more than welcome to file the casting flash off of the components in my engine balthy.
  4. First world problems.
  5. It's all about sticking with it.
  6. Worst time for me was when it stalled while going on an on ramp a 5 pane highway and i had to pull into the grass. That was the last time it happened before I replaced the crankshaft sensor, and it never happened again.
  7. The car left me stuck at work last week. At night. In the rain. After the store had closed and my coworker left. I was none too thrilled. After being unable to jump start it I had it towed home. Turns out the negative terminal was corroded, so I replaced it with an entire new-ish OEM negative cable. Good as new. I'm going to replace the positive one with a better quality terminal, I'm thinking one of these: http://www.amazon.co...=A385A0XNQBW8HY Should be getting brand new tires for it by the beginning of November. I think this will be the first time I've ever bought a complete set of brand new tires. Looking forward to it. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tireModel=HTR+A%2FS+P01+%28W-Speed+Rated%29&partnum=445WR8HTRAS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes Then I'd also like to do the front brakes around the same time. Barring any unforeseen issues I'll have the rear struts, sway bar links and bushings to do, and the car will be all caught up on everything it needs.
  8. I would change everything about that car but the interior. I don't like its proportions at all. The old car was much better looking IMO.
  9. While I don't disagree, build quality on Cadillac,s or really any car of the era (80's), was nothing to be proud of.
  10. Several new Escapes, many Focus' A yellow Viper R/T-10 An orange/black Viper ACR
  11. Well its a bit sooner than I was planning, but it looks like tires are on order for the Intrepid. Girlfriend wants to go to KS for Thanksgiving, and we want to take my car because its the most comfortable. However, the Michelin Pilot Alpines are starting to show tread wear, but more importantly they are showing dry rot. I was leaning towards Eagle GTs, but as I was planning for tires next year, they probably aren't in the budget. I think I'm going to go with Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 Ultra High Performance All-Season tires. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tireModel=HTR+A%2FS+P01+%28W-Speed+Rated%29&partnum=445WR8HTRAS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes At $500 for a set on tire rack they seem to be the best deal in town, and the reviews seem pretty positive about their performance on dry and wet roads. Since the car sits in the winter I'm not concerned about snow (which is ironic since I have snow tires on there right now). Plus the 6yr/40,000 mile warranty is pretty good I think. Has anyone ever run these?
  12. Guess its time to update the `ol sig.
  13. My neighbor;s got scrapped, but the 350 was rebuilt as a stroker and put into a race car which came in third place on its first night out despite getting bumpers locked with another driver.
  14. The coupe did, the sedan sure as hell didn't.
  15. Hyundai called and wants the Genesis' tail lights back. Although it still looks like a refresh, the front and rear ends on the sedan come together to make it relatively handsome, if unexciting. I like it, better than the Malibu. The coupe is okay, but I liked the pre-refresh last gen better. The front end of the hybrid is pretty hideous though.
  16. EGR valves will usually throw one or more codes. Fuel pump is possible, but considering how expensive it is + labor, and considering it doesn't have any codes (camshaft sensors in my experience will throw codes while crankshaft sensors don't always), I would replace the crankshaft sensor and see what happens.
  17. Owning more than one vehicle is always handy, it means if I need to do work on one I can take my time on it because I have the other as backup. Hopefully you're able to find and fix the problem.
  18. Batman approves of this bike.
  19. Sounds a lot like it a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. Those a very similar symptoms to what one of those sensors failing would be.
  20. TODAYS TOPIC: DIY SPERM DONATIONS. AND HOW TO WASH A JAR
  21. I must be missing something because most reviews I've seen praise the interior. Sure teh lower trim levels are what they are, but by the time you get to Limited and Rally trim levels its a really nice place to be. edmunds seems to think so too.
  22. Oh boy, now you get to have Apple's bloatware instead!
  23. So just do whatever that guy did Camino.
  24. Maybe you'll get an NSX for your birthday!
  25. Here's how it should go. "Hello sir and/or mam, I am emailing you to inquire about the item you have for sale. Now, I realize that driving around on a glorified moped is for mentally deficient people, but even so I would like to point out that this asking price is pretty half-baked. With that said, I am interested in your motorized bicycle with some plastic cladding on it, and I am willing to offer the KBB value of it to you. As soon as your mind has finished processing this information, give or take 2 weeks (its a lot to think about, I know) please respond back. I look forward to hearing from your brain-damaged self. Sincerely yours, Sr. Poopy Pants."
