  1. If I go to Carlisle , and I hope I can, it will be for the Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals. Never been to Carlisle, and it looks like a blast.
  2. Thanks much! I agree that color isn't flattering but even so, that is one sharp looking car. Love the interior too.
  3. Congrats man, I think it's quite a victory that you got the engine to run better. My car is still out of action, it looks like I'll betaking the Prizm to the LH Meet Sunday. Since the weather's been $h!ty I decided to actually rebuild one old these old models...we'll see how it goes.
  4. None of the above.
  5. Stopped by a local hobby shop and found they had a Revell 1/72 B-17F for $27.00.
  6. Magna to Acquire Majority Stake of Opel According to the BBC News, supplier Magna International has come to terms with General Motors to purchase a majority stake in its European Opel division. Follow the jump for full details. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=33589&hl=
  7. My 2nd new Camaro, this time a gray LT.
  8. I don't think it would t make a difference either way, since regardless of how they were built, I'm willing to bet money they didn't do a good job absorbing the energy and controlling passenger movement. Of course they did do a good job at keeping themselves intact.
  9. We're aware of the issue and are trying to get t the bottom of it so it stops happening. Sorry guys. C&G has the worst luck of any forum on the internet it seems. Maybe its a curse?
  10. Yep, I couldn't help but laugh at the footage either. Maybe "Let the bodies hit the floor" should play during the clip.
  11. But I thought that because they were old, RWD, BOF, and weighed 5 tons that they were safer than everything made today?
  12. Too bad there's a lot of grain in the photos.
  13. The LS is a fine car if cared for. Timeless exterior and elegant interior. From what I remember the interior's only real shortcoming was extreme lack of storage. The center console was tiny and the lid felt like it was going to break off. Overall nice cars though.
  14. The Newport is quite nice. As far as GM goes, off teh top of my head I like the `71 era Sedan Deville and the early to mid 70's Electras like this one:
  15. Nothing I see that sparks my interest.
  16. At first I was like: Then I was like: Besides the scissor doors I actually like it. Much different than your normal box on wheels limo.
  17. Olds showed me this early...I had to share. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-CHRYSL...alenotsupported
  18. Not my cup of tea then, but then I'm not a Corvette guy.
  19. Wow, 16k...I don't know my Corvettes but that seems steep...especially since I see more of this generation on the road than I do the last 3 generations.
  20. Very cool, I actually saw a yellow one for sale yesterday somewhere in central MA.
  21. The claimed low demand is what killed the regular cab. I'm more of an extended/crew cab person myself. I prefer the look (and the added usability). Although I will say I like the older (early 80's and older) Chevy pickups as regular cab/long beds.
  22. Not really better per say, the LH has sleek, elegant styling and a nicer interior. I can try to own both a 300M and a Charger (in addition to what we've already got. Since Jessica loves the Charger and the 300M, I'm sure I could persuade her for both in due time.
