  1. Hello and welcome Westjetter737! I can;t believe it was in an accident either, looks like it did the day it came off of the assembly line!
  2. I rebuilt an old model...now time for sleep. Gotta get up early for the LH Meet.
  3. Thanks! I'm surprised how it;s come out so far too...what a difference. I saw one of these kits at a hobby store for $30.00!
  4. Looks very nice. How hard is it to do a brake upgrade?

  6. So as you guys saw, I've been trying to round up what's left of my old models, with the goal of trying to fix them and make them better than they were. This is something I've wanted to do for a while, and started with one of them, but lost some of the parts and haven't really progressed much. Since my car is at the shop and the Prizm is all clean, I've been pretty bored, so yesterday I decided to tackle one of my other old B-17's, this one a B-17F by Revell. I actually have two of these and parts of a third, all of them broken, but I figured maybe I could make one good one out of two. Here's the results so far:
  7. I love Provolone cheese.
  8. Dominos pizza tastes like cardboard...
  9. Sucks that you're still without a car. Mine's been in the shop for a couple weeks now, but since we're working out a deal I'm not rushing him. 4k doesn't seem too bad for a rebuild, but I don't know.
  10. OMG :rotflmao: You can't make this stuff up!
  11. I had that experience/feeling when I bought the Intrepid. When I went to the auto auction I wasn't planning to buy then and there. Intrepids caught my eye on the list, but of the 3, only mine hadn't presold. I wasn't looking for it. I checked out a Grand Prix, a Continental, a Taurus, a 2nd gen Neon, a `02 Stratus, two Millenias. Nothing called out to me. I get to the Intrepid, open it up to find the car immaculate. Besides the trunk light, everything worked, and besides the little rust spot on the door frame, the exterior was clean. It ran beautiful and drove great. I went to go check out some other cars after I drove it, but then came back and sat in it and looked it over until the bidding began. I knew it was mine. When bidding, only one other person bid near the end, and when it reached 2,000, the dealer wanted 2,100, so I said yes. It was the greatest feeling getting the car and driving it on the open road for the first time...my truly first car. That feeling I got is part of why I love the car so much and will never give it up. /hijack
  12. They are pretty backgrounds..I thin the larger wheels do a lot for the car itself. Makes me almost want to got o the mountains Tuesday instead of the Museum, but I have no car to take a photo of...I think the Prizm would look out of place.
  13. Your job rocks dude
  14. Man I wish these came wallpaper size.
  15. Pictures don't do it justice, IMO. I got to spend some quality time ogling one at the auto show this past December.
  16. I love this angle:
  17. It's in the greenhouse, Camino.
  18. That's part of the reason why I like the CC so much. From the side it has a very LH vibe going on. And yes, well kept LH cars still look good today.
  19. Well for one, I don't really like the CLS. It may be RWD and all that happy crap, but I find the lines of the CC to be much more harmonic and better thought out, especially up front. Also, I've never heard you say much positive about VW's designs that I can recall.
