  1. G3/Aveo G5 xB and xD (but the name is hilarious). I actually like the tC Chrysler Sebring, especially the convertible G6 especially convertible The BMW 5 series hatch $h!brick thing BMW X6 BMW 1 Series (overpriced, not pretty and cheap inside) All of Acura's lineup besides the MDX (it's grown on me) Toyota Corolla. The last was boring but at least it wasn't ugly The new Lexus hybrid that looks like a Corolla Nissan Cube (I like the last gen, this gen is a major step backwards) Ford Focus. Good for Ford that it's selling well, but it's still ugly Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe
  2. Yeah, and the Rotary is a neat engine even though it's probably a PITA to maintain. As far as F-Bodies go, I like the first, second, and third generation.
  3. I never said I wanted to own either of them. The 4th gens are my least favorite generation.
  4. I like the RX-7 better than the 4th gen Camaro. I'd also like to replace the exhaust manifold on the Prizm, but no yard in the area has one that isn't cracked, so I may have to buy a new one.
  5. Still waiting for my car to get worked on. The mechanic whose doing it has been having a run of very bad luck that has been keeping him from getting to my car (this week his senior technician was under quarantine for possible swine flu). He never gets a break. When it finally does get done, I plan to drive the wheels off of it! Gonna take it to meet up with other LH owners, probably do some body work to it, condition the leather seats, get wheels for it.
  6. Not important benefits at all :win: Also add GPS to the lst.
  7. The jpeg worked but clicking the maya file gives me a page that says "file not found" I know a few thing about mental ray, so I can try helping with that if you're interested.
  8. All of my loal new stations have websites, plus there's all of the other news sources like Yahoo, and of course weather.com. And little if any commercials.
  9. I haven't watched TV in what seems like ages, so I don't really care. We have like cheapest cable package so we get none of the channels worth watching.
  10. Why thank you. Try putting JB Weld in the socket the wheel shaft goes into and putting wheel in, then let it dry. -- I like my chair a lot. I bought it for $15 to replace the one I had whose frame broke. I got a Staples gift card to replace it, but I haven't used it yet because I don't want to buy a good chair for the damn cats to claw up. Wish I knew what make/model it was so I could replace the armrest. They clawed the right one up then stopped clawing it altogether. It's a very comfortable and well padded chair.
  11. Agreed, I would love to be able to see our planet from space, it would be truly amazing. I do hope at some point it becomes commercially viable to go into space, I think it might be humbling to many people if they saw just how tiny and significant we are on our own, and that we are part of something much bigger. The space program is an essential part of our society, and I feel if greater emphasis and enthuiasm were put into it, only good things could come from it, because as said before, it gives us something grand to aim for.
  12. I'd love to be able to smoke my meat.
  13. I would be happy to see tax dollars going towards this rather than being wasted on pointless wars or CAFE.
  14. Can you try? I kinda half assed the wheels on my car because I couldn't figure out how to do them properly..always wanted to make a good set. Also, try rendering it with Mental Ray, I'm assuming you used Maya software. metal Ray makes it look so much more sexy.
  15. That is exactly what I was thinking! The modeling is very good nonetheless, how'd you do the wheels and what software did you use?
  16. They say necessity is the mother of invention. Behold, the problem and my $3.47 galvanized steel solution!
  17. I remember that, but the actual chair base, I can;t remember the last time I saw a metal one.
  18. What do you use as a base for that thing wmj? I can't remember the last time I saw a chair with a metal base. I've got a Prizm seat and two Intrepid seats that need a use. :scratcchin:
  19. You know how older (and maybe newer, but can't recall seeing any) office chairs go up and down by spinning them like a nut on a bolt? Yeah, mine is like that, and I got a reminder why I don't like the design, at least when the "nit" (being the base of the chair" is threaded in plastic. Turn around last night at my desk, and there was a crack, followed by shaft (along with the rest of the chair and me on it)braking through the base and hitting the floor.
  20. The Venza (with the 20 inch wheels) looks alright until you get to the front, or look inside.
  21. I love teh Space Shuttle as well, it's symbolic of what we can do when we really try. I wish more people were interested in teh space program and not what celebrity got knocked up. Great photos, thanks for sharing!
