  1. It's a full size car, just. I can't wait to finally get it done. I have a special treat for it when it comes home (besides the new engine).
  2. I thought it was a 1-Series...
  3. Used in that context it sounds like you're offering her to the forum.
  4. Finally, at long last, progress. Engine's out. Need to get some parts before the new ones goes in.
  5. The fixed gear assembly almost looks like pontoons. Apparently only on of these ever flew and it crashed after suffering structural failure of one of the booms.
  6. Camaro Tops Mustang in June Sales Camaro sales are off to a strong start, and the Camaro has taken the crown from the Mustang for the month of June for highest sales of the Muscle trio. Full Story
  7. Interesting, although that render isn't accurate to what the prototype looked like.
  8. Well the brakes are good as new now, thanks for the advice! While I was under there I noticed something else I'd like to fix. Since we bought the carthe parking brake hasn't worked. When you push the pedal down there's no resistance. Never really got around to inspecting it, but yesterday I noticed that the cable was kind of just handing there, and the only thing securing it to the body was a half assed zip tie. So I want to figure out where the actually issue is...the forward cable, intermediate cable, or rear cable. But first up is getting the driver's seat to work again. I haven't driven it in a while, but it's very uncomfortable because the seat is so far forward to me.
  9. Ouch, that sounded like you picked a fight with the vehicle and lost. Glad you're ok.
  10. Some other aircraft I really like: P-38 lightning A-6 Intruder B-25 Mitchell B-26 Marauder B-29 Super Fortress XB-38 XB-15 F-16 Falcon F-16 Fighting Falcon A-10 Thunderbolt II P-39 Airacobra P-63 Kingcobra PBY Catalina Fw 200 Concdor I'm not really a fan of WWI aircraft...too primitive and the design is just too lacking for my tastes, though naturally I appreciate them.
  11. Hey balthazar, how can you easily tell at a glance teh difference between an Electra and a LeSabre? I saw a beautifully restored blue `60 Buick today...but because it was off in a parking lot as I was going by, couldn't get a close look beyond that the headlights weren't stacked/canted.
  12. That's a no brainer. It's a tie between the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the North American P51 Mustang. Of those, my favorite models of the B-17 are the B and G, and for the Mustang the A and D.
  13. \Yes because nothing says unique and better than a Chevy than a G5 Pursuit or a G3 Wave.
  14. Now with less Noise!
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. :useless:
  17. What do you have for a laptop now?
  18. The only problem I've noticed so far is the printer prints blank pages when I try to print from a PDF in a web browser (I've only tried from Firefox and IE8 so far). I haven't really tried to troubleshoot the problem yet. Just tested the scanner, works without a problem.
  19. I too have felt very at home with XP, but now that I've go Windows 7 64bit I can't go back. The interface just rocks. I love how the GUI works now, and the speed alone is worth the price of admission. My computer takes about 45 seconds from power on to entering Windows, and that's with the boot priority still set to CD and having to type in a password. My machine feels so much faster being able to finally harness 64 bit processing power and drivers, as well as my 4 gigs of Ram the XP 32 wouldn't read. I wasn't too keen on the thought of having to do 2 installs, but from what I understand talking with others, you clean install with the upgrade disk, and just verify your preexisting copy of Windows by entering the old serial. Vista users can upgrade without losing their files and stuff, but XP owners will end up with a clean install...not a problem for me since I like clean installs. As for HP...my 2175 All-in-one doesn't have Windows 7 drivers, but Windows installed generic printer drivers, all I had to do was plug it in and it took all of 30 seconds...which is so much better than the normal, tedious printer installations.
  20. So now that I got to talk to him in person, he told me that only the line from the proportioning valve to the back of the car need to be replaced, but the entire thing is leaking. It might need a proportioning valve but he suggested trying to just replace the line first. Got some brake fluid and put it in the reservoir, the brake light went off and the car was fine going home...so that buys some time. I'll need to take it to a friend's house to work on it. So I need to get the lines...it would be nice if I could get them pre-bent or find a place to bend them. I don't have the tools for that. He's going to let me borrow his flare tool set...how do I use this thing?
  21. That's a shame.
  22. Interesting.
  23. New GM will take on future product liability claims, but not the current ones, against Old GM New developments state that GM has agreed to be responsible for future old GM liabilities but not the current ones. Full Story
  24. Yes, I've heard on LHforums that NXT 2.0 is great, but from their experience it doesn't last that long. Haven't tried it myself though.
  25. Indeed, they should have spent the money improving the other versions instead of created this thing.
