  1. This could have been salvageable. First and foremost, prototype's ass is way too saggy...it should have emulated that profile sketch more. Up front, the headlights should be a little bigger. The silvers look like they would be useless as headlights and they're too small to look like an important part of the design. The lower fascia should have better detailing...perhaps larger fog light housings set a deeper in the fascia and a little lower. Lower the ride height so it doesn't look like an Outback, and give it some less tacky wheels and it could have been promising.
  2. Thanks Ted! Yikes, the STS is horrid as is the G6. Got any more?
  3. Get to work fixing it up! Congrats!

Friend of mine from high school loved it. I could never figure out why. As far as video game parody comics go, I was more into VGCats, but the combination of me not being very up to date on the latest games, the author rarely updating, and his material/art style have gone downhill has led me to not really go there. For web comics, I really enjoy Exterminatus Now, its the only one I follow regularly.
  5. I used to play Final Fantasy XI regularly, but I get bored with MMO's quickly, so I've gone through periods where I stop playing for months...2 years is my current record. People who i played with thought I was dead or something.
  6. I tell ya, the headlines for such a thing would be quite a sight. "Toyota Closes Uncompetitive Factory"
  7. I use Firefox 3.5 and sometimes IE8. I have to get Chrome back on my comp. I haven't experienced these issues on XP or now Windows 7. Closest thing is that sometimes I start typing without the cursor being in the form and it does fun things.
  8. Years ago before MySpace was the "it" thing a friend had me join it. It was a see of poor layouts and repeating, ugly backgrounds that made the text illegible. I eventually deleted the account since I will never go on there. As for Facebook and Twatter....not a snowball's chance in hell. The closest thing to any of that I'm a member of is DeviantART, although I go through periods where I forgot about the site for months (once over a year).
  9. Well I for one, am glad to see someone taking the time to rescue/rebuild what others would have written off as scrap.
  10. I haven't seen those, got pics?

Never read user friendly, but Dilbert, with a few exceptions, is exceeding boring to me.

    EPIC WIN!
  17. I like the Outlook, but look at it this way: The Outlook will live on as the Acadia, the G8 will not live on.
  18. I haven't really been keeping track, has the Challenger had a lot of first year or otherwise problems?
  19. Functionality and easy of use is just as important as how nice it looks!
  20. That's cool, I do the front end development for websites...the GUI and such. I know my way pretty well around HTML and css, I can get around Javascript, and no a little about PHP and asp.NET but the look and feel of teh site is more my thing.
  21. So moltar, you work with the back end of web design, the coding and such?
  22. I've been in the 909, not the B-24 though.
  23. Very cool. My unforgettable experience was when I was in grade school and went to see B-17G #44-83575 aka "909". I remember how clean and new it looked...as though it had just rolled off the assembly line. We went back there the day it was leaving. It was a sunny day and it started up like a brand new plane, while the B-24 that visited with it was taking longer. It took off and flew out of sight. Suddenly we could hear the plane coming closer and I looked up, and t flew directly over us and the building at no higher than 200 feet. It came around and preformed a low flying maneuver over the runway (I mean like it was going to belly land low) before it flew off into the distance. It was amazing, and to this day I can remember it clearly, like it happened yesterday.
  24. I'll see your Impala and raise you an Pontiac G3.
