  1. Did Buick use Bamboo for one of their concepts? Or someone else. I thought someone used it but I can't remember who.
  2. Oh please, all I was saying that transmissions go on all makes and models, it isn't mutually exclusive. Anyway, how is your transmission doing, and what are your plans for the brakes?
  3. Yeah, and we've got a Ford with no reverse, an Toyota that had to have it's transmission replaced, and a Friend's Malibu that had to have it's transmission replaced. Then there's all of those Honda trannies that go. What's your point? $h! happens.
  4. The Genesis is doing just fine without the AWQD option you lust for. I've seen several of them around here....you know...in the snow belt. Besides, if you've got the money for a brand new car, you've got the money for a set of snow tires.
  5. I agree. The ES uses real wood, why can't Buick?
  6. I really like the Equinox...it's very upscale looking and well proportioned.
  7. In the grand GM fashion! But Fritz doesn't like rebadges I thought...

  9. I think most of GM management couldn't find their asses with both arms and a road map.
  10. Don't jump to conclusions. I was being sarcastic. However, it wouldn't be the first time GM sourced Honda for an engine.
  11. That's because both interiors look nice and upscale. Remember folks, the current ES went on sale while the old LaCrose was around. hell the last ES had a nicer interior. Plus the the Cobalt's interior is about as cheap as they come.
  12. Next week, GM will be sourcing engines from Honda for the new FWD Cadillac flagship!
  13. Stupid shirt, and could his facial expression look any more retarded? (probably but still)
  14. Pontiac (GM, however you would like to blame) brought it on themselves by unleashing those piles of $h! year after year. That's what happens when you try to slap "excitement" onto cars that are anything but for decades. Besides, disrespect would be making fun of the original GTO, the G8, and so on. Cars like the Sunfire weren't deserving of respect to begin with.
  15. Don't forget, how sophisticated the AWD system plays a huge role in how well in works. And yes, the really good ones can no doubt out handle RWD.
  16. Well look at that, someone at GM found a brain and decided to do what many of us have been saying for them to do for a long time...use Sigma. This is good news.
  17. If you think that equipment list is impressive, have you seen the options you can get on the new Taurus? Lots of tech in these new cars.
  18. Plenum off... Broken Plenum where the PCV valve goes into the plenum the plenum seam had split causing air to seep in. Intrepid of the lhforum members who came by to give me a hand. Installed! Took about 3 hours, mainly because we went to the parts story to get some throttle bodyy cleaner and a new PCV hose, oh and the EGR tubes at the back are a b*itch to get on. Sounds much better now. There's a exhaust leak by right cat...taking it in to have that taken care tomorrow.
  19. Here we go: 2 coats of primer 2 coats of flat black masking hand brushed silver 3 coats of clear Done! Time to put it on my car!
  20. I don't mind the low roof/high beltline thing. It bother some people but not others I guess.
  21. Yeah, I still think the interior design of the Charger is a step backwards from the Intrepid. the MCE made it better, but it lacks the flow of the Intrepid. The interior is even nicer when you've got 300M bits in it.
