  1. Yes I recently learned that the lower the percentage, the the darker a tint is. Thi is because percentage is how much light is allowed through the tint. So 85% tint means 95% of the light is getting through as opposed to only 35% getting through.
  2. I just hope it does better than the Magnum, because these are the same exact things said about it when it was reviewed. I love wagons, especially ones that put form over function like this and the Magnum do.
  3. Wow, I had to close the site down because it burned my eyes with it's terrible design. What does that categorize me as?
  4. Man and that is still my favorite generation for styling. That just pisses me off and depresses me. I hope that guy gets his balls lopped off, unless it's already been done by trading it in for an Accent.
  5. Somehow it just doesn't look right on a sedan like it would have wagon or SUV/CUV. I would have done all the windows (and I will). But if you're happy with it that's all that matters.
  6. Reg, you might like this. At the LH meet someone brought home made cupcakes. Very nontraditional cupcakes. He said the cupcake has dark amber maple syrup and bacon bits, vanilla cream cheese topping, and bits of bacon on top. Sounds odd but it was delicious.
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. It is quite good for yo so long as you go for the PB that doesn't use hydrogenated oils and HF corn syrup, and go for jelly/jam/preserves/etc. that uses natral sweeteners and/or sugar.
  9. Badge snobbery?
  10. I like Reeses and Peter Pan Chunky sometimes but as a whole I prefer Smuckers Natural peanut butter with honey or Smuckers natural chunky peanut butter.
  11. I actually do quite like it.
  12. I would have gone to the guy with $3,000 cash and seen what happens. Cash talks.
  13. I put Z's writing in my post since his was better.
  14. Pontiac G8 to be Sold in Australia In what is surely to result in hordes of Pontiac enthusiasts jumping on the next Airbus A380 to Australia, Holden has announced that it will sell a limited run of Pontiac G8s in Holden dealerships. In what amounts to clearing the Pontiac noses, badges, and wheel center caps off the shelves in Elizabeth, the G8 package can be had on any Commodore sedan, Ute, and Sportwagon. One can't help but wonder, though, what would've been the problem with sending the last few here instead? Follow the jump to discuss. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...t=0#entry531101
  15. I saw that and read it as "fapper" too.
  16. Agreed, I'm not sure how that would worke either. This isn't a forum abut a few cars, it's about every GM car and then some. I think technical information comes along at a need to know basis via the tech section. However maybe articles about various powertrains would be neat.
  17. If it were possible to do, it would be a heck of a lot of fun I think.
  18. Neat!
  19. One of the things I would like to see is if we could find a way to get more info on GM stuff, like plant tours, GM gatherings and reveals and stuff. Of course I have no idea how such a thing would be made possible.
  20. If we do this is the first I've heard of it. I only know such things exist because of the Super Cub forum I sometimes go to.
  21. I personally wouldn't go over 3k for it just on a gut feeling. I decided to check edmunds out, and the price for a private listing for one of these in "outstanding" condition with all the options but the moonroof is $2,864.
  22. I just feel the need to single this out. While I would love to spend my days test driving cars, unless GM decides to start providing us with cars to drive it would cost quite a chunk of change to go rent cars and test drive them regularly. Otherwise it will be like it is now. People will review cars they happen to rent or test drive should they be so inclined. There are indeed some very good ideas, but some realism is required here, both in terms of cost, resources and general feasibility. I like the idea of a heritage section, since older cars are not my forte and I would like to know more about all of the various models. I also like the idea of a section for meets, though I wonder just how many people there are in each region. On that note, it might be cool to have one of those threads where you can pin yourself on the map sort of thing. Ideas are always welcome even if we can't do them all. -- One last thing. If you don't like a member, ignore them. There's no need to drag it through various threads.
  23. Nice, but I'm more of an Aston Martin kinda guy.
  24. You left out a key bit: what's this thing cost?
