  1. I like the whole car. It's one of those rare vehicles that doesn't look like it took design cues from competitors. I especially like the blacked out A-pillar and that clean, well executed rear end.
  2. Well I'm free until the 3rd when my job starts up, and then weekends most likely after that. So if any of that works for you let me know. Good luck with he car.
  3. the Curse.
  4. So worry not Dave, they're not boats.
  5. Also, found this for the 2000 3.2 Intrepid ES: Motor Trend Engine and Transmission: 3.2 V-6/4A slalom 61.80 mph 60-0 braking 128.00 ft. 1/4 mile 16.40 sec. 0-60 8.50 sec. 0-70 11.10 sec. skidpad 0.81 g. 0-50 6.30 sec. Issue Mar-00
  6. That's why you fight them. I fought with Liberty Mutual for 2 months, while t hey paid for my Cobalt rental. I got the last laugh.
  7. It's no boat, LH cars handle very well. I don't have the Intrepid skidpad results handy, but the 300M can do .79g (.82g for the Special), 0-60 in 7.8 seconds (7.7 for the Special), 63.6 mph slalom (64.8 for Special) and 60-0 in 136 ft. (118 ft. for Special). For comparison's sake, MT's compact sport coupe comparison showed the 2003 Cavalier LS do .78g. Takes 8 seconds to get from 0-60, and 130 feet to get from 60-0, and slalom is 60 mph
  8. You are quite correct. I guess when that section is rarely updated you forget it exists.
  9. The post MCE Vue was ok,.
  10. Idea #3
  11. If it's the new Vue, then that. If it's the old one...I dunno....I guess the G6.
  12. Friend of mine wants a Camaro. He has very good credit. The Chevy dealer said he only got approved for $15,000. He went to a Honda dealer to check out what they had and found out he could get approved for $30,000. What gives? He wants a Camaro but if he can't get the financing he's going elsewhere, probably for a Honda.
  13. That sums it up nicely actually.
  14. You live around there and we haven't met?
  15. Southern NH is good because you can find a rural area yet still not be far from larger cities and such, like Salem, and then MA is not far so there's more opportunity for work or what have you. Northern NH is kind of like the boonies. Great fr retirement, not so great for work.
  16. Camino you should move to southern NH. I'm like 5 minutes from the border.
  17. My thoughts exactly. I hope haven;t forgotten about all of the copyright infringements the Chinese have made yet we continue to share technology and info with them...automotive and otherwise.
  18. If the car drives straight than that would mean the frame didn't take too bad of a hit, they would need to check to be sure it was ok (putting it on a frame machine). Then they would pull it out. Worst case would be if they couldn't pull out the panels. This was a concern or the Prizm, that they might need to get a donor quarter panel, which would have been expensive to weld on. This was because it had folded in on itself. However, they were able to pull it out. On the bright side your panels don't look like the folded in on themselves. One of the ways I kept the price down was by going out and getting the parts needed from a yard. I was lucky and found one of the same color, so even though I didn't have the car repainted, the unpainted spot isn't too noticeable. There's another factor. If you're strapped for cash you could do the repairs ins stages. get the panels so they line up again and paint them later. That was and still is my plan. Ocn will know better than me, I'm just going by experience. I know how you fell...I didn't want our car to end up in the yard, especially since its till drove perfectly fine. So I fixed it. It's been worth the effort, as the car has been good to us since. Good luck with it, lad you're ok.
  19. If the damage hasn't effected driveablity, than that might me it's mostly "cosmetic" as the shop that did the Prizm put it. It would mean just a matter of pulling out the panels and getting replacement parts.
  20. That sucks man. They may total it, but you may be able to get it fixed anyway. They totaled the Prizm because the damage came to like $3,000 by their estimates IIRC. Got it fixed for $600 or so.
  21. I can call him tomorrow and get the exact names of the products we used if you'd like.
  22. As for me, We used what my friend had at his house, which was one of the professional Mequiar's scratch removers, a polish, and then some quick detailer. You can see what it did for that big scratch along the quarter panel and that nasty scratch(es) on the rear bumper cover.
  23. Yeah does, he's got a bunch of how-tos and stuff up on LHF. As for the products, I've heard that some of Adam's products aren't that great, but if you only by one the Swirl and Haze Remover is the one to get. It really is that good.
  24. Yeah, the guy does a lot of videos with Adam's products. Posts photos too. Quite impressive. Another Vette he did.
