Wasn't it only just repainted? Why would it be repainted again?

I don't like black wheels. There's only a handful of cars that could get away with it.

We've never had a toaster oven and I didn't feel like I was missing much. However teh place I work at has a B&D Toast-R-Oven (must be a few years old) that I use every day since I began work. Love being able to reheat pizza, toast a sandwich etc. VS a microwave. I like their oven because in addition to temp settings, a timer, and toast darkness dials, there's a button to press for toasting, and it shuts off as soon as you open the door. So now I want one. The question is what to get? Browsing online shows lots of mixed reviews. For these things. It seems a lot of B&D products get bad reviews (catch fire, die, toast unevenly. etc.). There's this oven Proctor-Silex 6 Slice Toaster Oven, 31120. http://www.amazon.com/Proctor-Silex-31120-...7685&sr=1-1 Amazon labels it as a pizza oven, and the reviews seem to correspond. Wal Mart labels it a toaster oven Target doesn't carry it. (Edit) Amazon also lists the same one as a toaster oven so whatever. Anyway what is unique about this one is that both sites have a good chunk of reviews and rate it highly. All other models seem to be a mixed bag. There's also this one: Black & Decker - Toast-R-Oven TRO4070 Wal Mart's reviews seem positive. Amazon and Target don't carry it. However www.consumeraffairs.com has some complaints about it (there's no listing for the Proctor). I can't find other reviews for it. There was also this: Cuisinart TOB-195 Exact Heat Toaster Oven Broiler http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-TOB-195-To...1068&sr=1-4 Which seems nice but (a lot) more expensive than I was planning on going with. The other two are more my price range. Anyway, has anyone bought a toaster oven recently or have any advice/suggestions on any of these or an alternative. I listed that last one, but really I'm looking at $50 or under. I'm not looking to cook a chicken in it...we have other things for that. Just wanna toast my sammich dammit.

So does making payments on new cars. Example: even if I paid the mechanic to do all over the mechanical work to my car over the last 3 years it would add up to $77.91 per month. That includes oil changes, the engine, belts, oil sending switch, crankshaft position sensor, timing belt, and that fuel pump gasket. Yes I'm counting labor. In fact all of the big things were paid for to be done. Had I done it myself I'd be about $1,100 up. This is with a car that has nearly 200,000 miles on it. All it currently needs is the right outer tie rod. If I take into consideration next year's a/c revamp, I'm looking at about 1,000 in the 4th year. That'll still keep my monthly costs around 80 a month.

You just bought the things and took out a loan to do so. trying to get rid of it after like what, a couple months? That's not a smart financial move. Since caddycruiser wehelped you out with the buying process I'm sure he would know if it was a potential money pit. Unless your entire drive-train craps the bed multiple times, it'll cost way less to operate than monthly payments on a new car. I would keep it and save for a while. As far as mechanical skills go...pick up a Haynes or even better, a FSM for the car and read up on it. Basic maintenance is just that. Oil changes, belts, tire rotation etc. are stuff that can be done without any real mechanical skill. For anything else (or even those things) just find a trust worthy mechanic and have him service it. As pointed out by Olds, dealers will just price gouge you.

I've seen this before years ago. No problem reading it then or now. -
Is all I could think of.

The rounded front end design doesn't match the sharp creases of the rest of the car. I'll stick with the Camaro.

Not that anyone will use it, but I just made another one that you could potentially grace your desktop with  :

I remember when 450 was a lot. I'm running 600W and am looking to upgrade it for a major upgrade i plan to do (go quad, dual SLi, 2TB HDs, 8 gigs of ram)

I do all teh work for my own enjoyment, but it is pretty cool that people notice the TLC that's been put into the car. My friend's sister with an `08 Acura TL thought it was a new car, guy in a newer Jetta was staring at it at a stoplight, and I asked a friend in FL whose never seen my car what he thought of a photo of it before I told him whose it was an he was blown away by it, when I told him the year and age he said he thought it was a new car.

Thanks! I'm sure you know first hand how much fun and addicting modding is. Plus it takes run of the mill cars and makes them truly our own. Its one of those cases where I'm thankful for corporate parts sharing, because it allows us to do lots of upgrades to our cars while keeping it in a sense, OEM. That and there's not tons of aftermarket parts for our cars, but we make due. There's plenty to come, and even more one I have more funds, I'm fairly certain it will be an ever-evolving car. It is a bit of a shame that the majority of them end up pretty beat up and /or otherwise not cared for, I think that's partly due to teh fact that most of them have low resale value,s o they make cheap family cars, which is great but odds are people buying cars on the cheap aren't the best caregivers. However, as I've discovered, there's plenty of people who do take care of and love them.

Pacific Slate? I thought it was Stryker Blue? Edit: Never mind, I dunno why I thought it was Stryker, that's a lighter blue.

It was suggested that we have a wallpaper thread so we can share our cool desktop backgrounds with others. I like the idea, so lets gets the ball bearing rolling. No poltical, controversial or NSFW content. Everything else is fine. These are ones I've created or modified (enhanced colors and lighting).
