  1. Nope, some time ago I upgraded from the base cloth seats to teh premium cloth seats. feel and look much nicer.
  2. My frined's family has one as a spare car. Nice little cars. Today's compacts are as big as midsizers in the 90's. God we're such fatasses.
  3. Sarcasm is a bitch to detect with text.
  4. The bumper is giant...it has a chin that dwarf's Jay Leno's!
  5. $50 Like I said, this radio was not a high end radio when it was new.
  6. What the hells ort of advice is that? Oh yes, STDs are exactly what I want to brighten my day!
  7. Had to dig through my photobucket account, but here's the harness when it was connected to another stereo. They're different.
  8. He actually just sent pics now. It's not mine. That doesn't look like a GM harness adapter, I'm pretty sure I used blue quick connects for the wires, and I know I didn't zip tie them, let alone green(?)
  9. Dumb thing to say. It's China not Americanland. Different culture, different language. It's a Chinese market vehicle so it has a Chinese market name.
  10. Yeah...an idea: fix the damn car and make it drivable rather than getting rid of this one because it has a problem. I mean if you think that Fireturd is going to be a better car you're in for a big surprise.
  11. I do have a lead on a tan interior but its $130 and I'm out of work right now so I probably won't be able to do anything. I have most of the taupe interior so I'll probably just try taupe first. However, I've run into a bit of a problem. Apparently I've been using the wrong name for the "black" it's actually Agate which was used from `98-`00 and is purple based, whereas Dark Slate used `01 and up is blue based. The difference is subtle but noticeable to something like me or anyone familiar with the cars. Now, the problem arises because Duplicolor doesn't make a color that matches Agate, only Dark Slate. Hmm...
  12. Anyway, went to the yard today, they wanted $75 for the crummy factory radio. No chance in hell. $60 poorer and I got a new window and center stack bezel. Thank you Toyota for bolting the regulator and other parts and not riveting them. The window is just wedged in there. Took about 10 minutes to get out. Took longer at home since I had to be more careful and the window was tricky to get back on the track. Now there's just that big gaping hoel where the stereo and cupholders should be (they stole those too, since they were screwed to the stereo mount).
  13. Said he'll get more pics for me this evening...we'll see.
  14. In their current form yes, and the Aspen is gone for good.
  15. Congratulations!
  16. The interior is from the new Astra:
  17. One thing I've noticed is that it looks like he is holding the radio, but the bezel that clips on and surrounds the faceplate is there.
  18. How do I ask for the s/n without making sound weird/suspicious?
  19. Chris, what material was on the door panels? fabric or vinyl?
  20. Yeah see, I dunno. I love dark colors on tan/creme:
  21. So he sent me photos, but they're just of the faceplate... VS mine
