  1. I thought GM wanted to move Opel HQ to the UK?
  2. Why my mom's T&C was totaled we got a Town and Country rental with Stow `n Go. That feature alone is worth buying the van for. Nothing compares to it.
  3. So I found out that my car wasn't the only victim that night. the neighbor's green Prizm was broken into, and the upstairs tenant's car had marks on the door frame from where they tried to pry it open. So they were around for a little while. I so wish I would have caught them. We need surveillance cameras...and a gun. Sheesh.
  4. Been quite a month for car spotting for me. First that Noble, then yesterday I saw on a stretch of R110 the Ecto 1 from Ghostbusters! Wish I could have gotten a pic. Also so a Chevette in one of the yards next to an IROC-Z Camaro.
  5. Going by ConsumerGuide Auto [Link] it seems most of that generations trouble spots were pre-`02 models. It also lists repair costs for common items. I have no idea how you feel about them but what about a a 300M Special like this one? Excellent handling and brakes (sportiest of all the Sporty LH cars), most powerful, spacious, lots of features, and if uncommon is your thing, only 4,500 Specials were made. They're fairly easy to work on, not that expensive to have worked on or for parts, they're reliable and durable (I know a guy with over half a million miles o his) and there's four sites dedicated to these cars with lots of knowledgeable people. Plus at $4,500 it undercuts all of your other choices by quite a bit, and `02 is the year to get since it was the year before Daimler began cost cutting. Although if it were me, the first thing I would do is change the interior color scheme, or go for one that had the Dark Slate on Light Taupe already, and ditch the fake carbon fiber for the real walnut trim some 300M's had, but that's me. Will say say though that if you are interested at all in any LH check the a/c system, and find out if the evaporator core was replaced previously. These cars have a habit of going through the original evap cores.

  7. My Vote: 2007 Dodge Charger SXT $14,991
  8. Or alternatively:
  9. Without checking reliability figures I would go for the first Passat ( I prefer the 2-tone interior). Newer, so less likely to go wrong, unless of course the BMW has a sterling reputation, then I might lean toward that.
  10. 2004 GTO $14,991
  11. Yeah, its the closest empty area around. There's a place near Pelham as well but that's further and I was short for time.
  12. More money than brains. Could have used the hands free feature but I doubt he was smart enough to. Then he leaves the door open and the engine running until it dies....probably for insurance. Considering the wing was deployed I doubt he was going the speed limit. People like this should be banned from driving.
  13. Papa Roach - Scars
  14. What's with the third person stuff? :edit: Drunk...never mind.
  15. So if you don't say sorry they'll shoot you? What redneck logic! Yeah that warrants some sort of legal action.
  16. I think every car should be enjoyably to drive, regardless if it has a 3-banger or a V-a-million.
  17. Thanks! Since now I'm not sure which photo I prefer I touched up the 2nd one for the calendar.
  18. Alright, nice to hear some logical thinking!
  19. Wanted to get a decent photo of the car for the C&G calendar. Ended up getting s a few decent ones and some other stuff. I tried going with higher contrast photography. I like it. Enjoy! This one is my pick for the calendar. ...and some other random stuff
  20. Nice shots you got there. I'm not big on steelies but then those hubcaps suck...so one isn't really worse than the other I guess.
  21. That first commercial was just terrible...awful. Was it even real? I mean everything about it just makes me want to
