  1. OMFG LOOKS LIKE AN OLDSMOBILE LOL That yellow Vue reminds me of that Isuzu thing from the late 90's. Neat sketches overall.
  2. But we want to recommend good cars... I say Fusion, followed by Accord, followed by Malibu. Fusion would be my choice to steer him towards, maybe a base Taurus as Satty mentioned. Let him drive a bunch and see what he thinks.
  3. Remember it could always be worse, it could be FWD based and designed by Honda.
  4. Well I'm not expert of F bodies but so long as you get the appropriate tires you should be able to fit up to 20" no problem so long as they aren't too wide. I think going up to 18"s would make world of difference (more than 17" would) in filling out the wheel wells. They did for my car. Plus you're not going to big as to negatively effect ride quality and braking performance.
  5. I'm still not crazy about it, I certainly don't like enough to want one over a CTS. I'm willing to give it a chance though. Worst comes to worse it flops and we can make Cimarron and XTS jokes for the next 20 years. With that said I could do better.
  6. Tell him to check out the Fusion as well.
  7. Only problem is that this clientele will be either dead or have their license revoked before too long.
  8. Hay man good to see you! Nice mod you've done there. I'm bitten by the mod bug myself.
  9. I'd rather just shoot hookers, steal cars and blow $h! up.
  10. Looks good on it.
  11. Remember guys, if this was a Zeta than we could make the same argument about how a platform used for a Chevy would be used for a Cadillac. It's just the proportions forward of the A-Pillar that still don't do it for me. I dunno, we'll see how it looks when more photos come out, and when the production car debuts.
  12. I was going to bring up a 68 reference but decided a going in circles photo was better.
  13. Replace the badge with an Arrow and we could say the same thing. Also the `45 Continental is little bit older than your Cutlass and at least has soem resemblence to Lincoln's new grill. This has nothing other than there being a piece of painted metal between the grills. You know, also like a BMW.
  14. It's not often that a SEMA car looks better and cleaner than its OEM counterpart, but that new nose makes all the difference.
  15. Badge snobbery eh? If it had an H badge it would also be about 100 times more ugly based one what Honda's been rolling out of its design studios the past several years. I see no Honda in there. #1 because Honda has no styling language at all, #2 because Honda has no sports coupe with which Toyota could supposedly copy the greenhouse. If you're talking about the little upkick in the quarter window and how the Accord Coupe has on it, well so did the G6 Coupe.
  16. I think whoever styled this car should be in charge of Toyota's future designs. The more I see the little coupe the more I like it.
  17. Neat! I saw a white Terrain.
  18. Well $h!. I have to say that is an epic video...good 3D and great music. Very futuristic. Makes the car look pretty good too, but the short nose still bugs me.
  19. Profile gives me an Outlander vibe but overall I like it. Kia has really been on a roll with getting their styling together.
  20. People disgust me.
  21. No one in their right mid expected the Sixteen, they were expecting something with more presence befitting a flagship. Plus with rumors that the production version will be less aggressive (how I don't know since it's not ultra aggressive to begin with) and narrower, it does not inspire confidence.
  22. The styling wasn't inspired by AMC or Renault, it was elements of the engineering from AMC and the N/S mounting of the engine.
