  1. I like this line "This was once a country where people made things, and so it is again." Interior looks quite stunning. I cannot wait to see it in person.
  2. We'll need ones about B-Pillars, RWD, FWD, Pushrods, Buick, Pontiac, New things suck, BMW being the best thing ever...
  3. Hello and welcome! When you get a chance you should share some photos of that LTD in the Member's Rides Showcase. We'd love to see it!
  4. I've seen that exact wheel on a Windstar.
  5. LOL it's funny because it's true.
  6. I don't really drink alcohol much. Not my thing.
  7. That's pretty damn amazing. Then again Wile E. survived all those explosions and cliff jumps.
  8. I see a fair amount of Neons, in fact there's a black first gen across the street. Here's a car you don't exact to still be on the road, but there's one in good shape down the road...a Yugo!
  9. Not a bad idea actually.
  10. Since we're n the topic of Chinese made stuff. I was bored and was reading the label of a box of Florda's Natural fruit snacks. Says on the front in big letter "MADE WITH US GROWN FRUIT". The on the back it says "Made in China" Now, we have to put up with a lot of Chinese made crap but food shouldn't be one of them.
  11. 50% of the time I drive a manual. Jessica taught me how to drive the Prizm when I spent the summer in KS 4 years ago.
  12. Hey Satty, good to see you. Sounded like a fun time.
  13. Or Vauxhall. They've got both the Commodore and the Ute. Britain gets them and we don't.
  14. It's both hilarious and disturbing.
  15. _ Ford Mustang sales top Chevrolet Camaro in May The muscle car wars are heating up. Ford's strong and efficient new engines helped the Mustang take back the sales lead in May, with 10,225 Mustangs being sold compared to 8,931 Camaros. Hit the jump for details. Ford Mustang sales top Chevrolet Camaro in May
  16. Alfa Romeo followed by Citroen.
  17. Not profitable based one what?
  18. Saw the title but didn't see the part where it was for car and truck engines, not plane engines. But since we have posted planes anyway, you're forgiven.
  19. Looks like a nice find. Always did like those little wagons.
  20. Welcome to the site! The Challenger commercial isn't a slap in the face to any one brand, but more to the industry as a whole that has become focused on mass market cars that look fairly similar and are more of appliance to commute in than an emotional object. Most people buy cars to get from point A to point B, and want gadgets and convenience features and nothing more. They don't care about looks (look how many people buy Toyotas and Hondas), horsepower, the sound an engine makes, which wheels do the driving, how a car handles, and so on. The Challenger, along with the Camaro and Mustang, is one of the few cars made today (especially ones you can actually afford) that's built for people who genuinely like cars.
  21. Anything is possible if you throw enough time and money at it. That Merlin powered Chevy is proof enough of that. Glad you're enjoying it. I am too; all of the neat sounds posted in this thread, as well as people's different tastes.
