miami auto show, tomorrow, around 9?, hopefully images will leak before then

The rear end of the Jetta is perfect, and even though I'm not a big fan of the standard front end, the R-GT looks phenomonal all around. I also love the Passat.

Okay, so I have a pretty good one. I don't want to condone drinking and driving at all, however, this was just one of those times I had a bit to drink, but I've always been able to trust myself driving under the influence. I DON'T do it often, haven't done it often at all, maybe like ten times in my life, and I am a damn attentive driver. I mean seriously serious driver. Anyways, sorry, I drank vodka, quite a bit and wanted to sober up before driving. I went to White Castle and ordered my special meal, the Chicken Rings meal with a cup of cheese on the side and pink lemonade to drink, EXACTLY what I wanted to the point :) I got my order, put it in the passenger seat and forgot all about it. I don't remember how I arrived home that night, but I did. I can't visualize the drive home, but I can visualize everything up to getting my food. I forgot the food and found it the next morning when I got home. However, I awoke in my car sometime in the night. We had a long driveway, and I barely made it in, and stopped right there. I got into my house and was feeling as if my shorts were drenched. I didn't know what to think, and I thought I couldn't have pissed myself, I've never done that kind of thing my whole life. When I awoke in the morning I realized my khaki shorts I had been wearing that were soaked were a pinkish hue, I had spilled the pink lemonade that I totally forgot about on my shorts. I was most upset that I had wasted my white castle and lemonade.

I get automobile....i kinda like it. R&T is pretty good too, haven't really read much of C&D or MT lately, but six months ago they were nothing but regurgitated from each other.
-
good luck with the problems jensen, i hope you find a positive gm dealer to deal with and service those problems. i also hope this doesn't sour you completely; you got the runt of the litter...
-
Josh, does this mean they are pushing for it to be Epsilong based? That's what guion has been saying, and it's not a good thought, imo. Why release another convertible from the same platform that would just canabilize even more? A Velite with the potential for hot V8 engines or TT V6 engines capable of pushing over 400 hp and a platform that can handle that amount of power is tantalizing, and the only shot GM has of EVER getting Lexus, MB, BMW, and Audi customers to Buick.
-
Buick needs a line of RWD coupes, convertibles, sedans like it needs new consumers, desperately. The sooner the better. It's a shame we have been asking for so long for revival at these brands and GM has yet to get it. The picture is only getting worse as more and more time passes without the right product.

The rear bumper treatment is very sexy; if Pontiac got rid of the lip on the lid and just smoothed things out, the rear would flow nad the bumper would complement it perfectly.
-
the chopped HHR pickup looks fantastic, but then I already think this is a great looking concept from GM. The different styles of HHR for SEMA show just how a different lower bumper can transform the HHR.
-
When can we expect to see those and is it just the grille or will the whole front face indicate future Chevys? Thanks.
-
really, the dollar is rising? that's good for the US economy....
-
I too think the guy inside will look better when it hits production.... oops i mean i think it's a great chop, but it needs bigger wheels, and I don't think the details are good enough to merit "jaw-droppingly beautiful". The bumper fascia in particular is not agreeing with me as well as the profile of the rear, which looks too much like a minivan. It's certainly got the right things in the right places and is a good indication of the real thing.

the perfect pizza.......................................................... is available only in chicago.
-
Pontiac's is much better looking [than the Mitsu]. I like what Roush did with the exterior, tasteful and very aggressive
-
It's fantastic. That grille complements the front so well, I would love it if GM made this the "coupe" or "panel van" version, and kept the grille exclusive to it meanwhile the regular HHR continued with its grille. Release this one quickly, GM!

good point, but not many people are smart enough or assertive enough to care to even find out. You overestimate the consumer if you think they will care at all about what the name means, even those that bother to search the definition won't end up letting it make thier choice on the matter of the car purchase. Ultimately, this name won't go down in history as one of Buick's finest, but the car will speak for itself
-
I caught that. Hmm...sounds good....Is there any chance we will be seeing that Caddy soon? Is it the BRX? One the issue of the "name".....I've got a bag full of "sshhh" for everyone of you; it's just a name, that nobody really cares about, besides you people, Rendevous is not Camaro or Corvette, Enclave fits the car perfectly, Rendevous was produced in an era where GM produced subpar vehicles, bottom line: get over it

Damn, it's cool to be remembered. I guess no one here really likes how I come across with my internet personality:P well, I am a lot of fun in person, speaking of LAIAS, I am in the same boat as croc, will be home in Chicago for the holidays, so later on in the dates will be better. I think between the 11th and 15th will work for me, but I will get back to y'all on that later on, and I think we should have an official thread for the LA meet... as for my list, well I don't like making anyone feel slighted so I will try not to:] There are many here who have exceptional talent, great sense of style, appreciation of classics, and just plain good personalities...so there are too many to list, but here are some [forgive me if you fit into this category and I forgot you] BV, I think I would try to fit in a role of a good brother to you, I don't know what it is about you :P :) that seems to call out for an older brother. But seriously, I think you're a cool guy and wouldn't mind going ATVing for a while sciguy, since you seem to agree with me on a lot of things, definitely be cool to meet you; I can share more pics with you if you'd like http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif  :D ;; I'm just messing with ya. I'm sick today and at least one person mentioning me brightened my day :) croc, well, it's gonna be interesting meeting you, since you are master argumentator of all argumentators [or you just like to vocalize a lot :P , jk, you're cool in my book] sixty, balthazar, harley [you and sixty post the best classics ever] i've been seeing a few classic camaros around here and well, you have helped me to heighten and definte my interest that was already there; but you guys have a great appreciation of classics bobo, nick, bimmer, OC, empowah, moltar, petra, ehaase, cspec, all seem to have very objective personalities, and I really want to know what it is about them that makes them GM fans since they are so objective and willing to acknowledge other companies... evok, ah-ha, guionM, griffon, hogansheros, josh, redplanet....all would have intriguing stories about past designs and programs that would give a wonderful insight into the possibilities that existed within the wonderful realm of carmaking....and of course I could try and talk about future products....but moreso I'd be interested in getting to know things about thse guys cd/bp, oncblu, chief, oldsmoboi, the C&G gay brigade (don't take offense to that title please), every site needs one, and it keeps the humor level strange, sometimes unsettling, but most of the time just darn funny and good-humored. by the way, totally off topic, for some strange reason, pop goes the weasel just popped in my head, don't know why, just the way things go i guess...
-
nevermind....some seem to be working for me, be back after i look at those
-
I was on the board around this time, but my browser is only showing HTML? anyone know what my problem might be? I haven't been able to see one thread the right way...
-
Damn, Los Angeles is at $2.90 still...
-
very very good looking wagon, a dash of sport and plenty of elegance
-
yep yep yep where are the pics of the sport combi
-
So this roof likely is a preview or exact rendition of what we will see in production? The rest of the treatment, I no likey....too too much for this classy roadster. However!......LS7!!? Is this a tease, or are they finally admitting they were able to feasibly do it?

I just predicted this would happen in the GMT 360's thread last week and a few people came down on me for it. Great improvement, and even more reason why the Trailblazer could show up on the GMT 355, elongated, around the size of the Pathfinder, to be a global competitor....
