  1. Heh, I KNOW that I was just wondering, why no E-50?
  2. I have never seen this addressed anywhere, so this seems as good a place as any to ask. Why E-85? Why not E-50 or some other combination? Is there some sort of magic number? Don't you think offering different blend levels might help spread the product and vehicles able to use it?
  3. I'm sorry but I don't buy a Saturn Aura on EPII anytime before 2011 if not later. Why would they waste the money on getting out a product for only 2 or 3 years? Perhaps there will be a Buick, Chevy, and Pontiac, followed by Saturn and Caddy later. . .
  4. what DID happen the the concept? the 2005, not the earlier. it had the badass rallyrace look with the big rims and lowered stance. offer that with the 300hp turbo and it will be a hit with the EVO and SRX crowds. . .
  5. yes, but will the new pictures make us happier? or will they confirm the "dulling down"? can you give us a hint?
  6. someone needs to go back into all the spy pictures and photoshop a complete vehicle for us. i would give it a shot, but i don't have any time at the moment...
  7. depends on the state. here in iowa you don't have to pass anything, you just give them the car and the title...
  8. i had always thought the the camaro/firebird should follow the mazda mx-6/ford probe school and have one be an upright coupe, one a 3 door hatch, so as to offer something for more people... same engines, maybe different suspension settings, that sort of thing.
  9. my town has a combined dealership, has for a long time. but, they are in turn owned by a standalone dodge dealer that is the biggest in the state, one county over. they are in the capital, which also has standalone chrysler and jeep dealers, that won't ever change. the chrysler dealer is owned by the local ford dealer, and the jeep dealer has been around for decades.
  10. don't they already sell the celica replacement over at scion?
  11. my local dealers have finally gotten some qmt-900's in. the tahoe looks as good as in pictures, the yukon actually looks much better, the nose isn't so goofy in person. and they have a solstice, it is sharp. btw, has anyone else noticed the buick terraza has 6 lug rims?
  12. i don't think it will steal sales in any significant manner from ford or chevy, but it will bring a few new sales of people who might not have thought of buying a truck, same as the honda ridgeline. it will continue at the pace it has until now, being barely profitable, but toyota will never exit the market.
  13. to tell the truth, i liked the old exterior better, this looks too altima. and they fixed the dash. which shows people like traditional location *ahem*ION*ahem* and things can be fixed.
  14. an IFS can be done well, and heavy duty enough for a full size truck. look at the Humvees we have been using in the war. 4 wheel independant and you can't stop them...
  15. who will buy it? i would love to, but it just isn't in my means right now. with no base model, look for the mustang to outsell it 2-1... and i read in motor trend this month the gto is dead anyhow. truth? rumor? ah-ha?
  16. i don't think that tolerances should matter really, it should matter how CONSISTANT the gap is. i personally am very disappointed they are losing the plastic, it should be kept, at least for the ion.
  17. reluctant to help? not how the market works? is this the same administraion who has been giving money hand over fist to airlines since 2001 to try and keep them afloat? you have got to be kidding me...
  18. look closely betwee the back door aqnd the flying butress on the orange on, that looks like it may have been photoshopped! there is a line and corner onthere that i can see. can anyone confirm?
  19. not bad, but not what i expected. i'll have to get used to it i guess. the charger has grown on me too...
  20. yuck.
  21. the front page says there is a Kappa Chevy in the works, wouldn't this be hiding the Nomad in plain sight? the Kappas are all pretty similar under the skin, the new top looks an awful lot like the Nomad concept, just give it a new dashboard and fascia, and Bob's your uncle!
  22. DBeaSSt i see you have done a lot of work on yours, do you think an Atlas Inline-6 would fit under the hood of a wagon? always seemed like a unique replacement for the early weak engines. . .
  23. depending on how important looks are to you, there are the police versions available for 5000 or less. they have the same mechanical parts, (engine tranny suspension brakes) but not the leather interior or nice wheels and paint. do a web search, look for code 9c1 and make sure it is the 5.7 not the 4.3 V8 and be sure its a 94-96 for the LT-1
  24. where in the net is there any info for this? i am having no luck finding anything. . . :(
  25. i go to allpar for news, same with blueovalnews.com. but i feel they have gone downhill. but i'm looking for good discussion forums too.
