  1. so do i :(
  2. easy. an olds custom cruiser from the mid nineties (think impala SS wagon) and slam it and stuff 400 under the hood with a manual tranny. the custom cruiser has the bitchen sunroof. yeah!
  3. the prius trunk size may be the same as the camry in number, but that number is such because the prius has a very high butt and a hatchback. its not the same kind of space. interior wise also, the difference may only be a few cubic feet, but that's exactly the extra cubes that mean the difference between a car that is cramped v.s one that reaches the threshold of 'somewhat comfortable'.
  4. you misstated that. he said he was 'fired' not 'retired'.
  5. its unfortunate because the Aveo's design is nicer. when will GM start anteing up for decent plastic?
  6. and chery. don't forget chery
  7. they know how it drives. any car in this segment should have a 5 speed auto.
  8. Tahoe hybrid.....now THAT has my interest. If the tahoe hybrid could manage 25mpg in everyday driving, wow.
  9. i will give them credit for improving the looks of the sedan, but its still a crackerbox.
  10. as recently as like 02, the corolla/prizm had a 3 spped auto available. now that's MOVING FORWARD..................
  11. why is the fusion so low? I leased my 500 with a 51% residual.
  12. islam or utah......hmmmm, neither are great options......the amish bit may work tho
  13. interesting observation, probably true.
  14. it ought to be interesting to see how bad the press gets on that,or if they let it slide.
  15. the suv drivers at least are not being hypocrites
  16. Small 2-seater - SKY Coupe- GTO or Cobalt SS or Corvette even. Sedan- just leased a 500 for practical reasons (big huge comfortable safe car for dirt cheap) but if i had a less restrictive budget there are far too many choices to mention. Wagon/Hatchback- BMW 5 series all wheel drive with stick. Saab 9/3/ or 9/5 sportcombis. Any hot audi wagon. The IS sportcross was even nice. SUV- Probably a Tahoe/Yukon if i could swing the gas bill. The Endeavor is probably the best sporty carlike crossover for cheap right now. The new Edge/Aviator is not out yet. Freestyle is good but I passed on it for now as its heavier than the torque taxed 500. A used X5 with stick would rock. Van- 2007 Quest with revised interior. Otherwise it would mean waiting for the next Chrylser vans. Truck- F150 or Chevy. The Nissan is cheap and junky feeling all around. Used?- again, too many variables.
  17. Perosnally, I'd like to be able to marry and have relations with multiple women.
  18. 'would you like some apple pie with that'
  19. 'would you like an apple pie with that'
  20. thin young leggy skanky hoes.
  21. because it has sufficient displacement. not a measly 1.8 litres and 8500 rpm.
  22. i still am surprised that folks have the extra 10 grand to throw out the window to feel better about themselves or to 'make a statement'. it goes to show how hollow we as people are. we think buying something or throwing money at making some half hearted statement about who we are or what we support is a true show of support. Nah, showing support for environmental principles or showing support for oil policy or better gas mileage would be far better spent getting involved by particpating in promotion and political processes to convince others why improvement is needed. etc. You GIVE or your time and work, you don't just make a cheesy visual statement that because you drive a Prius that you are more righteous about the world than others. You could give that 10,000 bucks extra you spent to a research company to develop alternative fuels or pollution cleanup or reduction or something. We all want so desperately to stand out and be seen, don't we?
  23. toyota will park a couple Prius two blocks away and call on the press to come report on how not only is a tahoe excess to drive, that the marketing campaign is also excessive as well. i think chevy's campaign is a great idea but toyota will find a way to use that and turn the press into negative for GM and positive for toyo.
  24. pretty impressive considering Miatas have a rap for being gay men's cars.
  25. well humor me, it was the first time i saw it. and i thought it was fking funny.
