  1. i said yes to one back in october, and then they said, 'we can't sell you one because of the recall' then i reconsidered, and it was mostly due to the GODAWFUL dash. I thought, 'I will wait to get a van until the revised interior comes to market'. thing is, this is a HALF ASSED revision. the seats are the same, as are door panels, and climate controls and weird shifter location. Moving the gauges helps though. Adding the flip tray helps too. i sure hope they moved the DVD player and fixed the odd radio too. I dunno, had this interior been in place on 10/23/05 it would have been 'flip a coin' as to whether to wait for the recall to be completed or pass. Honestly I don't think they went far enough but at the same time it might be just a just enough to get some buyers back....i dunno. It needed to surpass the Sienna and Odyssey inside and it still doesn't do that, so it still is gonna get ripped and deservedly so. and hey, still no split third row. Nissan is getting as bad as GM at half assing it. CARLOS the TIGHT ASS. Folks will still buy Siennas and Odysseys and this doesn't make many reconsider that position. i like the exterior revisions, but those too could have done more.
  2. HELP HELP THE SKY IS FALLING IT's PEARL HARBOR OH MY GOD ITS 9/11 OH DEAR LEO CAN'T FIND KATE CARROT TOP JUST SHOWED UP FOR DINNER Jesus, i am so fking sick of all these doomsday articles.
  3. the interior ain't pretty either! ....... typically DCX BAD/CHEAP hollywood extra NASTY!!!!
  4. i think the eclipse v6 did 0-60 in 5.6 seconds in C/D. So the convertible will be a bit higher. The G6 base w/ 3.5 did 7.9 in C/D. I don't know if there will be a GTP convertible.
  5. maybe the UAW actually would prefer Toyota stay out of Michigan, so as not to erode the union base there?
  6. "Our union in Japan helps us solve our problems," Cole quoted the Toyota official as saying.
  7. um, they just trumped the GXP's ECOTEC. that lasted all of about 3 weeks or so. INSANE...now i might want one!
  8. good luck considering how mediocre the design is, especially the interior
  9. great. the potential for onstar is limitless. I think this is a great asset to GM. they should push the envelop in vehicle delivered entertainment as well (movies, tv, video games, radio)
  10. you didn't HURL?
  11. there's not enough fresh product to advertise
  12. a huge part of the reason toyota is gaining sales so much is the direct and indirect result of their hybrid offerings and the image it represents. so obviously they have struck a chord with consumers. and each and every day GM is caught with its pants down on that puts them deeper in the hole.
  13. good show, but too short. ted at halftime, that wud have bin cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. nesbitt? i hope its no PT/HHR saab
  15. my dad looked at a lucerne for my mom this weekend. she liked the lucerne, but said it's 'still only a buick'. so they aren't gonna fork out the dough for that. but maybe he'd go for this!
  16. i saw a new tahoe interior at the dealer this weekend. i like the dash design, but i was not at all impressed with the seat cloth, or the door panels or the plastics quality in general. it was the light gray color. keep trying GM
  17. that site needs a serious visual upgrade. it looks pretty 'underfunded'
  18. sheryl crow is one hot MILF. except she's not a mom. but any woman who grows a tree or operates a tower crane for me like that deserves the title of SUPERMILF. plus, she's musical. i bet lance is a drink of cool water for the ladies and sum of the guys as well. why have we not got the scoop from LANCE ARMSTRONG'S TESTICLES YET?
  19. i like the exterior but the interior is typical DCX cheap. and horrible.
  20. GM board to consider dividend and pay cuts, seat for York DETROIT -- General Motors’ board on Monday will consider plans to cut the automaker's dividend by as much as 50 percent, cut the salaries of top executives and give a board seat to Jerry York. According to sources familiar with GM's plans, the board is considering a number of proposals originally put forth by York. He represents Las Vegas billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, who owns 9.9 percent of GM’s shares. can someone post the link?
  21. yes, it does, it looks horrible!
  22. "The Lexus hybrid is performance without guilt. It's a premium product. Nine-tenths of the people who buy it will never do the math; it's one big high tech image statement." he's right, 9/10 WILL NEVER do the math. They have enough money to blow without needing to ever worry about counting it.
  23. one comment, its too bad GM has to tear down other's cars to learn stuff. The other manuf's should be tearing down GM's cars to see what makes them so great. I would love to have a job tearing down cars and analyzing what makes them good and bad etc. That would be a hoot.
  24. I hope GM can perfect the flux capacitor.
  25. I am sure Al Gore will invent a way to make that work also.
