  1. C/D has a writeup on the new FUGLY Camry......but at least that will have a v6 choice....... the new camry interior is not bad too. Is Honda shooting themselves in the foot
  2. ah, the new standard hotel by the airport shuttle vehicle
  3. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2018-volkswagen-atlas-v-6-4motion-test-review?src=socialflowFB&mag=cdb&dom=tw "The trade-off for that ride quality, not surprisingly, is a considerable amount of body roll; even when pushed, though, the Atlas remains predictable and secure, turning in 0.84 g around the skidpad and stopping from 70 mph in a competitive 174 feet." I kind of feel like they got a lot of the same impressions I did
  4. It's crazy you say that because I have seen a rash of Crosstours around here lately. Of course this is SUV land and Honda land in parts. Towards the end, Honda was whoring out the Crosstours no one would buy with sign and drive cheap leases. Crosstours are the kind of vehicle you find at those luxury used car broker places......bunches of them they buy with 10-15k miles on them because they were 1 year demos, leases or leftovers etc. I've been trolling for used ZDX's though. What i once considered ugly has me intrigued.
  5. The base Enclave is maybe within reach but 47+ for one with AWD, yup, profits over volume. The Traverse ain't cheap, either. Sucks cuz i like them both.......
  6. i want to point out that Chevy has made strides with the new Malibu in this class.
  7. except for the fleeting of sign of drive leases LOL
  8. interesting new wheel choice for the Fusion.
  9. i think a lot of what is going unnoticed on the radar is a new 2.0 engine for the new model year. Here is some info on that http://www.automobilemag.com/news/inside-volkswagen-ea888-b-cycle-2-0-tsi-i4/
  10. sucky dealer, The Si is intriguing but me thinks the lesser power, i would be tempted to look at other metal.
  11. nice pictures and a nice write up. I like the new Cruze and i will probably look to take a spin in a diesel soon.
  12. i'd dispute that. Midsizers now steal compact sales, and midsizers are a great second car option for the two car families. They also help uphold cafe quite well.
  13. a friend just bought one. perfect for them, i can't dig it. I can't deny its useful from a packaging standpoint.
  14. Me thinks this may be the car where the hatchback catches with the public https://www.km77.com/fotos/Opel/Insignia_2017/Turismo-Interior.html?division=carroceria&carType=1&photoType=2&limit=99
  15. interested to see how the new 2.0 in the Passat turns out. the 1.8 is decent. This new 2.0 as a base engine should really set the Passat apart from those with tiny 1.5's.
  16. I was sort of thinking compared more to the Highlanders of the world. There is no match for the Escalades and Yukons of the world. that is true.
  17. Looking forward to the Tiguan. I think it will be a GINORMOUS improvement and will probably sell like no other VW.
  18. curious if there is only one suspension tune or more than one. Hey, maybe the tires on my ride were uber underinflated too. Just far too much slop and bobbing, at least the one i drove.
  19. the v6 camaro is the best blend of power and gas mileage. even though the 4 puts up decent tested times, from what i've read, the 6 is a legit option to the v8, and the four just doesn't wow like the 6 does. after nearly a year in my malibu 1.5, its a nice motor for what it is, but there is something in the extra smoothness of a v6 STILL that i would love to have in my next rig, and i would want it to be a twin turbo six if possible, something between 2.5 litres and 3.0 would be awesome. In the cars I have driven with any of GM's 2.0 turbo so far I haven't been blown away with smoothness or revability, even if they have been decent. As for the Accord, i understand losing the six because their clientele really is not into performance. But there was a few hard core Honda fans, especially coupes, that they liked the v6. I see Nissan
  20. I think he just wants to placate his suck ups in silicon valley first.
  21. Yes I've heard the MSRP on them is silly big. Since I've gotten used to having a van, i really appreciate the space, and others i know who have gotten vans end up becoming repeat van owners. They get used to the room and space. I have gotten accustomed to the honesty of a minivan. Big box on wheels. The large SUV's when i drive them all seem so contrived, think Lambda, they really are close to a van but do everything they can to not be a van.
  22. impressed that you found an actual pacifica hybrid. they have been sparse hitting the lots. Its entered my mind as a next vehicle but I think i might lament the loss of sto n go. so it drove well?
