  1. pot destroys your brain and is a 'gateway drug' to other addictions. JMO, of course.
  2. Sims will be done after a few shots! hey Martz.....you don't think Leinart is a better option than interception potato head (Kitna) and candy boy Joshiepoo McCown? there's a wonderful QB duo! but hey at least they aren't 40 years old like my Brad Johnson!
  3. the vikings screwed it up royally! 5 first day picks and only one possible starter! no franchise QB! the Lions/Millens didn't really make any big botches this year although Sims will likely be retired by week 8!
  4. well maybe saturn is being geared up to compete with the camry crowd. but at the same time i don't think chevy should revert back to AMURCHAN iron and retro only.
  5. Camaro is iconic if you wear gold chains. hey i like camaros too, i just hope this camaro program isn't hurting their ability to produce much more badly needed product.
  6. June Motor Trend. they pick the Civic SI. practically gushing. BLECH>
  7. LEINART FALLS. Vikes don't move up to get him at 8. Then they blow it again when Denver moves to 11 to get some stiff named Jay Cutler. DENNYBALL is alive and well in Arizona. LIONS blow it again. another high draft choice. Great pick, if his head doesn't get pounded into mush within 5-6 games, ending his career. VINCE YOUNG goes to the Titans. WOW, they've got BUSH in New Orleans. HOW DUMB ARE THE TEXANS?!?!?!
  8. oh sure, let's promote people using addictive drugs. my take: get all the immigrants out of the US.
  9. that's the exact same unit i have except i am running 12 pressure. i acutally have been cheating a lot since i got one and a lot of nights only sleep about 4-5 hours. instead, i should still be sleeping 7-8 hours and getting much more sleep. the doc's said i woke up like 29 times in an hour from sleep apnea/breathing stopping in my sleep study. it was supposed to help me slim down too but i've been lazy about that also. i wish they'd pump pure oxygen through the thing or maybe even some mind altering aromas...... or at least the pleasant smell of potpourri..... it takes a couple weeks to get used to, but after that i was bouncing off the walls for the first month or so.
  10. i have one of those! its awesome and makes all the difference in the world. just got a new mask and tubing today. been using one for 4 years, it kept me from getting divorced or sleeping in the next room. you sleep way better and helps your heart. my wife could actually get sleep then also.
  11. the Texans passed on BUSH? oh, Reggie Bush, not GW Bush. I'll bet the texans don't care much for GW anymore either. You mean GM is meeting with REGGIE BUSH?
  12. like I've said many times, they give Kia and Hyundai free passes for making average to below average stuff, selling it cheap with a warranty. Everyone gives them a free pass for not doing sh1t. the fusion is no prize but least is better than an Optima. By the way, dealers all over are selling new Fusions starting at 15 grand so there's not even a price advantage for the Kia.
  13. i commend DCX for its success with the 300, but it just goes to show you how many rappers and insecure balding penis envy forty something budding executive/banker types there are out there looking for the ultimate penis extender
  14. yeah, folks pay $$$ for sedans. so GM will pour $$$ into making a niche car like Camaro but neglect the Malibu.
  15. ^ aside from that, the side glass and pillars are almost dead ringers from escort to sonata. the front end is very close with slight difference in the grille and headlights. the rear flanks are similar but a little crisper.
  16. the unit they tested had DSG. I am not sure if VW is offering a stick for 06 witht he TDI. They said the TDI may be delayed or go away in 07 because of the new regs. in any case, the very next page, the new Camry Hybrid got 33 mpg. it is bigger. but not the 37 mpg they advertised in the same mag like 2 months ago. I bet the new 06 TDI might get slightly less because its heavier and bigger than the last Jetta. if VW does bring the new TDI for use with the cleaner diesel for 07, then we'll see if it can keep its great mpg and improve accel a bit. Even witht he slower 0-60 I bet in real world use it feels good because of the big torque.
  17. Jesus, every 3-4 weeks I am forced to bring up old Escort pics again ebay-escort Snate notices it too. the thing is derived from the design of the old escort!
  18. 'i think i could handle that'.
  19. 36 mpg combined. that's not too far off the Prius now, is it?
  20. its not just mitsubishi pulling that, sat. one of the chevy dealers (Gould, monticello, MN) here is right now running a promotion.....buy or lease a silverado and get a free cobalt to use for 2 years as well. radio ads all over the sports radio station. NOT the only time they've run that type of promotion either. Buy a pickup get a cobalt or Aveo free has been run in the past. try again
  21. the linear is in the ballpark pricewise. the 9-3 has begun to look dull to me, inside and out and is smaller than a real midsize. the v6 turbo is too pricey. the aura is about as close as it gets now, except no stick with V^ and I'd not prefer Chrome on the trim. Plus, the interior is a bit overdone and has a cheap GM center stack.
  22. 07 altima interior does not enthuse me and looks a little cheeseball. the styling is too similar and in some ways exactly like the current alt and maxima.
  23. ROTFLMAO!!!! exactly. the new 'grand am'. college kids all over will be buyen um. all i would have to do is pick up one from the hertz near my house. they have like 6 of them and its a small rental outlet. sonatas camrys and corollas in greater abundance than Tauri.
  24. sonata bad interior, no manual, bland exterior (mostly the front end sucks). no sports suspension package. like so many others, its only 1/2 to 2/3 of the total package.
