  1. 500-wait for the new engine and then it should be fine. if they can't get it all right by 3 model years, they deserve to shut their doors. 60% of my gripes about mine are realted to the engine buzzing and tranny whine which will be replaced. Fusion/Milan AWD out this fall, new Duratec soon too. Zephyrs been selling like hotcakes here....OOPS, MKZ.... other options......Volvo S60 preowned with 100,000 mile warranty, one year old Grand Prix or Bonneville GXP, G6 GTP. Lucerne. Buick Enclave, CADILLAC CTS. there I said it. Used CTS like one year old without too many options. OOPS, no AWD! chrylser 300, not my cup of tea but some folks like em. Altimas, Maximas. You will be very surprised how much your notions will change once you start test driving cars. It will become much clearer. Example, when the Mazda6 came out, due to the hype I was all gung ho on getting one. Then I drove one and was not that impressed with the engine or overall solidity of the car. It felt cheap. Total, I've test driven the Mazda6 4 times and every time it impresses me less and less.
  2. illegal? i don't care, I love it. Great idea, something I've been wanting. Instead of flicking the brake light, I'd prefer a reader board built into my rear window. I would want to put messages on it like "BACK THE FK UP, DILLHOLE" or "MY BUMPER WOULD LOOK GREAT IN YOUR MOUTH, ASSWIPE" or "YES BUDDY, MY CAR LIKES IT IN THE A** TOO, JUST LIKE YOUR WIFE THE OTHER NIGHT"
  3. many folks (especially in smaller metro and outside urban areas) like and NEED BOF mid sized SUV's. There is always a place for Explorers and Trailblazers.....towing, rugged terrain, general sturdiness. even though lots of folks only want a a crossover now, there will still be a huge market for TB's, Explorers and Durangos. I fail to see how 200 thou of exploders and 260 thou of TB's is minute. Yes its down, but that's still a half a million vehicles. GOD, get a grip.
  4. oh well, Americans will be bypassing arrogant toyota in about 5 years for upstart hyundai and other koreans. how many 70's and 80's GM pickups are still going strong yet i struggle to see very many toyota pickups on the road from even the early or mid or or even late 90's......
  5. Darn, fourth or fifth transmission? Yeah, cause so many salt of the earth folks need a Lexus LS Yeah, cause that's like what everyone makes for a living. I thought only 25 year old girls drove Accord coupes anymore. Ah, the Pilot, the poster vehicle for men who got stuck driving the vehicle their wife made them get, or they wouldn't get laid anymore. Pilot drivers wait until everyone else leaves work so no one sees them scurrying to their Pilot and hastily leaving in shame at their loss of manhood. Its called GRAND CHEROKEE. as i figured...yuppies no offense
  6. BULL$h! MY PRICES ARE OFF any dodge dealer here will sell you that van for what i said
  7. when my friends bought their odyssey, all honda dealers were selling them at msrp or higher with dealer add on. this was right before the sienna came out. no new odys are being sold at invoice either. odysseys in large form have never been invoice vehicles. at least not around here. 90% of folks finance their cars. either you stole your money, have filthy rich parents, won the lottery, or are grossly overpaid.
  8. just an aside.....from mitsubishi forums .com http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t12903-mi...mer-reports.htm mar 14, 2006 maybe someone with a CR subscription can verify this. i do know the endeavor and galant were both recommended and had very high scores from CR for reliability. i.e. mits is not the land rover freelander you seem to want it to be. time to stop the untrue song
  9. duh my dad's vega had a ruined engine block and rusted all over duh his 78 silverado exploded in a mcdonalds drive in because some fat kid running out of the store with a fudge sundae ran into the side of it duhhhhhhhhh my dad's 81 electra diesel popped a head bolt........duh my sister's master cylinder gave out on her beretta duhhhhhhhh my 77 electra coupe needed to be overhauled twice duhhhhhhhhhh my aztek has been defect free in 43000 miles. knock on cladding. wanna talk TL transmissions?
  10. aside from the typically chrysler trash interior, the commander kicks ass. at first i thought the new GC was lame, but now I love it. the wrangler and 4 door wrangler kick it. the Liberty is quite pansy, but the chicks dig it. gotta sell some jeeps to chicks. the compass and patriot ruin everything.
  11. i would love a DSG
  12. where's my 500? double top pick / gold IIHS. its safer than the TL. where's the 9-3?
  13. the engine computer can adjust for this. i have heard that the term concentric used for this tranny R/T
  14. ROTFLMAO a gal i knew in college was a pastors daughter. along the way she slept with triple digits. even the good christian girls can put out en masse sometimes.
  15. The Ridgeline looks like such a pile of SHT compared to the 07 Avalanche.
  16. ROTFLMAO!!!! it's part of the HYBRID system!
  17. your car's safety cage is your helmet. that's why. and it has to meet crash test requirements. what if the carmakers want the freedome to build cars however they want?
  18. if gramma hits a biker who is not wearing helmet, and he goes bye bye, but it can proved he would have survived with one, there should be no recourse from dead biker fam to sue grandma on vehicular murder or negligence or anything. ie. her fault should be waived completely is said biker waives his right to stay alive by not wearing a helmet. biker shall pay medical costs, not gramma, not insurance.
  19. BV, her pic, she is quite shapely in the region below the neck. unusually shapely. almost to the point i am wondering, are they fake or is it just a really skillful pushup bra?
  20. i can't wait for toyota to be #1 in sales because then the press will turn on them and start the process of destroying them.
  21. my wife used to work at a theatre......from the stories she told me before, i can see exactly that sort of thing playing out. she's not 18, can't comment on the looks then, therefore.
  22. if its aftermarket it will be better built than at a Chrysler factory i suppose the 6 extra inches will make it weight like 4500 pounds now in R/T AWD trim.
  23. maybe GM doesn't want to over do it. as Denny Green would say, 'they are taking the high road'.
