  1. don't foget ugly. the odyssey is defintely more ugly
  2. car and driver i think founded that word
  3. mustang- you work for architects, of course your printers are going to suck. architects know nothing about technology and never have money to make things work, nor do they assign resources to fix it right. work for the evil real estate / contractor / developer with a big IT department and a contracted printing service and everything works beautifully! one time at my old firm we had to run a full set on mylar for a library job....60-70 sheets. it was an old style plotter (maybe even a pen plotter) that took about 10 minutes per sheet. It took like a full day to get everything printed and babysitting to make sure no ink ran out etc. now, bang out some pdfs or plt files, send em to the big machine in any of the 3 buildings.....sweet.
  4. next frame-making out.
  5. did the article even mention the Sienna? I don't think it did!
  6. the odyssey and sienna are co segment leaders. what have you been smoking? the caravan is included because it is the ICON, it still sells like hotcakes, and it can be had for a lot less money.
  7. please translate buickese to me, here we go "red crushed velour tufted seats" "simulated woodgrain" "simulated vinyl top" "engine, 1960's vintage" "floating down the highway" "those f'ing manifold gaskets!!!!" "armrest cupholders" "flop over in turns" thanks!
  8. not much time so I'll expand tomorrow but its was ok. overall the cheap interior leaves a bigger impression than the generally good ride, handling, and power. -cabin noise is pretty tuned out but the nice exhaust burble is there. I still like the cammy sound of an ohc over the rumbly small block but in this case i thought it sounded great. -good steering although you can tell the front tires are WIDE -very very little torque steer even when i hammered the throttle. any magazine that says this car has torque steer quite honestly didn't test the car. My Aztek has more torque steer probably. -tapshift is cool but kinda pointless with only 4 gears -the cheapness of the interior gets to you from the get go and diverts your thoughts away from what is geenrally a decent car. the car had 2k miles on it and the interior already looked more like 40,000 miles. -car did feel slightly heavy and the steering felt just a little disconnected but not enough to really upset you -some clunkiness over hard bumps but not harsh -I'm not a fan of the squat roof -even though the car would perform better with RWD its pretty darn neutral and good for FWD. The weight of the car is more distracting than any negative notion of the car being FWD. most folks will have no issues with the way this cars drives with FWD. -the car is tuned much differently in r/h than the SS impala and does give the car a good sporting personality. its lacks ultimate polish but i think they deserve credit for doing with it what they did and with what the beancounters gave them to work with. verdict, decent car but it may have made more sense about 8 years ago. it kind of has that late 90's feel and purpose to it. B- IMHO i won't buy one but I do think it does bring some good things to the table. Perhaps the Aura XR or redline will be more of interest to me and a car like the Maxima or Altima SE-R is likely more my cup of tea. I could add several other cars to that list. I could see why others might buy the car. its pretty good considering how things go at GM most of the time.
  9. LOL, it always gits so out of hand.....
  10. i sure hope someone brang the bat and ball. i feel a big inning coming on.
  11. 1999?
  12. i bet the 0-72 will come back at the end of the month. by the end of august, you'll see 0/72 AND big rebates
  13. you get it at Best buy? I worked at the Best Buy in Moorhead in college, a long time ago. I might still know or two guys at the FGO BBY.
  14. in theory you are right but why is GM and Ford down so much and Toyo and the other up way high, double digit gains? I stick by it, 80% of shoppers know what car they want and stick by it. they are predisposed before they even talk to the salesdude.
  15. ya, you're so hot. no one lays big fat PIPE in the trench like the CIVIL ENGINEERS and CONSTRUCTION guys.....!
  16. ENGINEERS are even more fun.
  17. while we're at it we can PITCH A TENT and sleep together in the yard.
  18. G-N-R welcome to the JUNGLE BABY!!!!!!! It'll bring you DOWN!!!!
  19. so Nissan can finally have the strength to b1tchlsap TOYOTA!!!
  20. Now I can dream of using my GM CARD for that Pontiac Quest van variant!!!! WOOHOO!!!! THERE IS GOD! but only if they slap some cladding on the sides! YEAH BABY!!!!
  21. maybe they'll share a brew, swap some blueprints for those nice VQ motors and have a laugh and a smile. maybe nissan can donate the altima platform to GM for GM's future cars.
  22. BINGO!!!! YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!
  23. the Edge interior and dash is below par. horrific. cheap. Ford could have done WAY better. God I hope I don't turn in my 500 for one then
  24. it can't be worse than a typical FORD automatic tranny does it at least downshift?
  25. 'not gonna touch that one' correct, I am not a pill and i have a completely warped sense of humor. It helps me appreciate everyone else's warped sense of humor while others are worried greatly about whether their turtle neck snagged in the wash or their tiny glasses got dented up. what is incorrigible? i'm not sure if that's a complement or a swipe!
