  2. the high performance version could be the commodore 64, and i bet it could play some kick ass games. i.e. i don't think the name would be a big hit
  3. I suppose we'll be seeing F1 Kias soon now too.

    Acura RDX

its a compact SUV...you get the panache of an SUV, cargo/utility but better handling and gas mileage than the true old style SUV's. You get to sit high, have a big rear cargo area to take sh1t home from Pier One and Crate and Barrel or Abercrombie, and 'Jenny' feels so safe driving one! again, for many folks, sedans are dead. some folks will only buy SUV's now and this is the smallest kind of luxury SUV you can get....even if it does weigh as much as a CTSv but it gets worse mileage with half the hp.
  5. you mean all the ones without Hemis, right? Cause if its a DCX car and ain't got a hemi, it probably will be pretty gutless under the hood.
  6. that's on par with my own best 'pro mitsubishi' rants. bravo.
  7. Har would be so proud
  8. ford ought to put Megan Mulally in something racy on some ads and watch those stocks rise. Leave Alan in the board room.
  9. she's lucky to have such a good person watching out for her.

    Acura RDX

just sayin'........ i just don't get how a CTSv gets better mpg. the RDX had two mag tests with under 14 mpg.
  13. the best car test i ever had was an 04 (i think) CTS with the 3.2 and manual. I loved that car. the same day I drove a 325i non sport pkg and i didn't like as much as the CTS.
  14. good sir, that'd be worth an entire topic on its own

    Acura RDX

so i am re-reading a recent road and track last night. THEIR RDX test, it only got 13.2 mpg. in same issue was a CTSv long term test....that got 15.6 mpg i think. same weight.......2wice as much usable power. 2wice as many cylinders. and Honda is so great at mpg?
  16. i bet that 500's suspension made a loud nasty thunk when it hit it. like it got damaged. LOL
  17. this ties in to exactly what I was saying on another thread today. Cadillac can only go so high in terms of their actual prices compared to the Mercedes etc. equivalents. 10k discounts are typical on DTS and STS this time of year. that's why caddy still has to try for some sales volume instead of being low volume with high prices.
  18. its still hard to sell 50,000 dollar cadillacs without 10,000 off msrp discounts, so i just don't feel cadillac can bank on getting the same transaction prices as Mercedes, etc. anytime soon. I'm just being realistic. Even if caddy's efforts were equal in every way to the big dogs there still be a perception gap that would take ten years to make up. Therefore, in order to exist they need to sell at some higher volume and a bit cheaper. gradually over time they can get their prices up, after all the import humping type a 'i hate America except for what I can skim out of the corporate profits for myself' baby boomers die.
  19. i've heard people say, do not expect to get more than 2-3 years out of a laptop. sad but true i think.
  20. oh, i'm sure that one's been in the hopper for awhile, and not just him...LOL
  21. wow, that's the turbo AWD version, right?
  22. fly, your mom and dad still....? imagine that next time before, say, thanksgiving dinner with the entire family seated around the table. that aura pic has sort of a 'saturn meets norman rockwell' thing going on.
  23. true. your mom is proof of that.
  24. i'd nail that, BTW.
  25. "we have your car ready, sir"
