  1. why not the edge? defintiely cost competitive with the murano. if you test the outlander, test the endeavor too. they sell for about the same price out the door. just find one with a tan interior. the dark int is dreadful how bout an outlook xe?
  2. depends. which career will be outsourced to a foreign country first? you might want to think about that. the way its going.
  3. 5 speed? why not 6?
  4. i hated the center console and stack, the gauges, and fur on the doors. hate the sweeping curve that goes from the door over the dash and stuff. seats are too low also. for that money it deserves a better interior.
  5. what about the dude suing honda for getting 32 mpg in their civic hybrid. my father in law can get that sometimes on his olds 88 on a trip.
  6. mercedes CLS has nothing to worry about
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Audio
  8. maybe his tongue is pointy enough to SCOOP OUT THE EARWAX
  9. help me out. wasn't toyota or honda sucking in europe. yet, gm can make gains. the euros would rather buy peuguots, fiats, citroens, renaults.....they don't blindly love asian products over there.
  10. the renderings that were out on this vehicle a year ago were sexy. this looks like a bloated pig and a lexus GS crossed together. no thanks. i'll take the maserati.
  11. saab needs a new aesthetic. gm, grow some balls and design a knockout car.
  12. the media is hurting for jobs. today's lifestyle section front page in the paper here was an article copied from NYT about how the television female chefs are wearing plunging necklines. I kid you not. this after the star and sickle laid off like 140 reporters. and this is what they fill front pages with. i wonder if someday the media will take a hint that expert status doesn't get granted to you just because your spew ends up on newsprint. People exchange their own thoughts on the net, and really don't want to be bothered with self important, mindless, unqualified journalists anymore. Refreshing, if that comes out of this print houses losing big bucks.
  13. LOL nissan sucks
  14. yes. I'll one up that. not everyone is chaeffuerd to their cushy office in the capital. people who concern themselves with dictating how everyone else leads their life don't care though. they have tunnel vision. tell ME the people I know and grew up with in ND who live in the vast nothing but have tons of room and drive trucks really waste energy compared to urban bangers who consume a lot more resources than they think they do with their copious consumption. Al gore is proud of his weed bearning offspring who does prius track testing while running dope.
  15. rear quarter shot looks like a phaeton for some reason.
  16. its not a very expensive car though, kind of a 'what do you expect' sort of thing. plus its a nissan. for the actual out the door prices, the maxima current as a whole isn't terrible. i just don't like the DESIGN / packaging of the interior. I passed on a Maxima to get my 500 despite the maximas superior engine and handling etc. the next maxima i think needs a killer interior.
  17. very many congrats!
  18. bleh. BMW is out of ideas. do the hail dents come standard?
  19. gangsta pickup. nice.
  20. truth is, as hybrids have gotten initial acceptance, it was the ecoweenie types who bought them and there are types who either didn't drive aggressively to begin with, or they are the types that will stare at their mpg gauge in heavy traffic, coasting and stuff, while pissed off drivers attempt to weave around them. the hybrid PR buzz went into overdrive and now you got everyday folks looking for them. These folks will want to drive them just like they drove every other car they've owned. Full tilt. Frankly, a lawusit is needed to draw attention to these cars not delivering real world mpg for average drivers. That said, GM needed to offer a few models with real hybrid tech (not just BAS). The Malibu and Aura, Vue, Equinox, Tahoe (etc.). Lambdas might benefit from a hybrid also. Let's put it this way, Nissan was even basically saying that hybrid is not worth it when it introduced the new Altima hybrid. They had already jumped in with both feet though. Hybrid would be ready for big time if it didn't cost so much and add so much complexity. It will be YEARS before repair shops are capable of handling routine fixes on hybrid powertrains.
  21. i love this. this is really bad PR for hybrids and honda and toyo. my buddy just got a plain civic after balking at the extra cost of the hybrid. i bet he'd be happy to see this article.
  22. who knows what sort of compromising things his DAUGHTERS have done.
  23. not an issue because the turd's cams would give out trying to tow that weight.
  24. 10% of camrys though is 40,000 of them, enough to flood the auctions and water down the resale.
  25. 10 best asian looking cars tribeca forester ridgeline fit yaris turdra 08 impreza wrx xb xd ok, i couldn't come up with 10 stunning japanese cars oh wait, addd the azera (ick) sonata (ick-x-2) and elantra (puke x 1.5).
