  1. edge is wider and a far more refined machine mechanically. length might be similar but we all know that width matters. no way the eq is as solid as the edge. chevy's extra length is all front end overhang which is useless in terms of packaging.
  2. wow. i have renewed interest in this vehicle! except, why the red seats? i am so hating the red seat craze! would it have hurt to put a new shift knob and gauge cluster in there?
  3. party pooper. keep your foot off the throttle if it bugs ya.
  4. she got a phenomenal boob job. hot either way
  5. best quote evah yeah, it will still sell like hotcakes, but clearly C/D is got it out for toyota now. and i like it. there were some VERY vicious shots in that article.
  6. chevy does need a crossover 3 row, especially since its one of the hottest segments for the next few years. i was rethinking this and could it simply be possible this is a test mule but not neccessarily the exact same body panels it will have?
  7. the more money the global warming freaks get, the less NASA gets. change the data and maybe keep your funding. activists and envorwhackos and other liberalish nerds are often unhappy with themselves so they seek to complete their lives by picking an emotional cause and then belittling others who don't agree. then they use social and media means to constantly pound away. they feel better about themselves and never need to resort to fact in that process. its easier to win that than say, arming yourself and going overseas to fight a war. but they think they are doing the same thing.
  8. oh yeah. THAT's why i watched the show!
  9. i'm disappointed. i felt the traverse needed a 2 row version, and the 3 row should be bigger than the acadia, IMHO. i.e. taller and a bit more wheelbase. notably more cargo cap. the acadia etc is so aero, i was hoping the chevy looked a bit more blocky like the current trailblazer. blocky but with sleeker forms. imagine a tahoe and suburban with some rake on the back hatch and not so puffy. i bet chevy never intended to do a lambda and when they changed their tune, it was quicker to rebadge what they have. too bad. more and more its looking like a flex in my future. not that its better, just that at least its different.
  10. i've always liked the vibe, except for the motor. i like this even more. i could actually drive something like this, toyota roots and all. hopefully it gets the 2.4 i'm not gaga over it, but its pleasant enough that if it were inexpensive and got good mileage, i could be happy driving it as long as it doesn't look too dykish. climate controls look cheap though can you imagine how many of these would sell with chevy badges? that's why its a pontiac. pontiac dealers don't mind. they want something they can actually sell.
  11. i've been having muttlange fest all afternoon. def lepperd and bryan adams a plenty. i will be hearing drum machines in my head all night. All perfectly programmed. SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH!
  12. OC appreciation thread? he doesn't need a thread. don't we all appreciate ourselves enough?
  13. GO sharpay!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. yes, you may! i still remember where i was the first time i heard shania's whose bed have your boot been under video. I was back att college for a wkd visitng a buddy and we went to the bar. i saw the video on the screen and was instantly amazed and mesmerized. I had seen some of her first album videos but when i saw her new video with the red dress my jaw just dropped and was speechless. i felt something within myself, and it made me think something big was going to come out of all of this.
  15. if you guys provoke me, I will start a HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL appreciation thread in addition to a debbie gibson appreciation thread..........
  16. i like that VH is touring but honestly Mike Anthony needs to be a part of this. To have Wolfie do this is insulting. Even if he's good. Fans want to see MA. Valerie bertinelli was a really cute plumper. Even when i was like 7, i always wanted to staple that.
  17. i can't remember when i had a real vacation, or more than 3 days off from work in a row. take out sick time for the kid and time you need to take off for doctor appts for the kid etc...... when i started at my company i had to be on contract. no vacay for six months. nada. so i get hired and i negotiate 3 wks of vacation plus 1 wk sick time. yes, they say. two months later the HR staff rewrites the PTO policy to lump sick time in with other vacation and in one fell swoop i lost my extra week of vacation. couple that with having a new born eating away all your PTO and bam.....where's the vacation? one guy i work with had agreement for 4 weeks vacay + one week sick time. when they did the PTO change, he was under 5 years, so they put him back down to 120 hours total. essentially 2 weeks plus 1 week sick. dude lost 2 weeks. it is true, if you want a premier job, you have to bend over and work all the time and travel a lot and kiss ass. But the perks are there. Fewer and fewer get these jobs but become more and more elite. if you can't swing that (because its not family friendly at all) you are indeed stuck with a tier B job, and you still have to work way too much considering you can't do a one wage earner family off it. Marginal pay, stingy benefits. Lack of flexibility in working arrangement and no time off. All for the 3.5-4.4% raise. when everything else in the GWB era goes up 10-20% or more per year. No wonder people are pissed off.
  18. I THINK MUTT COULD JUMP START THE HOFFER'S MUSIC CAREER you ever listen to 'can't stop this thing we started' by brian adams? OMG, each programmed drum beat is pure heaven! SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! in fact, that whole brian adams album is pure overproduced lusty pop! that album saw heavy rotation in my favorites for at least 2 years. the song 'house arrest' has perhaps some of the most perfect cowbell i have ever heard. mutt loves cowbell by the way. note that over time, many producers have tried to perfect that glossy mutt sound. some albums that have the mutt / def leppard sound 'love among the cannibals' starship 'waking up the neighbours' brian adams some tracks on heart 'brigade' (although it lacks the fake drum sound). def leppard's post mutt albums, many still sound like mutt
  19. that one photo / eddie looks like an olsen twin.
  20. http://www.robertjohnmuttlange.com/ POUR ...SOME.... SUGAR.... ON MAY!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. SHOW SOME LOVE FOR SAVED BY THE BELL!!!!!!!! OMG...BEST SHOW EVER!!! (FOR DRINKING GAMES) that kelly kapowski was hot, no? zack, slater? screech!? Leah Remini episodes? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saved_by_the_Bell
  22. i drove a caliber at the ride and drive last fall and it was horrible. i never wanted to get out of a vehicle so fast. my God, the last gen mitsubishi outlander is a far superior vehicle to the caliber and compass, honestly. PT even feels nicer. ford's cvt was good, haven't tried any others but i liked the shiftless feel. i assume chrylser botched it. so many of these 4 cylinder hatches are getting terrible mpg. escape, element, PT etc. barely get much over 20 in town if you go by reader reviews. makes me appreciate the aztek. 20-22 mpg consistently. quiet and spacious. more enjoyable to drive than rattle traps like the compass. paid a lot less too. and the compass is just as unsightly. i used to tell folks looking at little buses like this to take a good hard look at a heavily discounted SWB chrysler van instead. maxx would be a good caliber alternative.
  23. would y'all rather have JMays? i think not. i sure hope zak didn't have to leave kelly, slater, and screech behind.
  24. just take it back now. trust me
  25. um, um............. price sounds right......name sounds right......um, um,..........
