  1. well sh1t, lets remove the a and c pillars too if we don't want to compromise. doors too.
  2. ever since my my first 'new' car, i try to adhere to 3000 miles. there is an audible difference in the way the engine runs when you first get in the car after an oil change. quieter, smoother. winters here especially, you can't exceed 3000. idling in traffic at below zero, you get some thick black tar you gotta get rid of. i could see stretching it out to 4000 or so but the point is why? My engine will last longer on cleaner oil. sometimes by 3000 the oil on the dipstick is thick and black. i've been rewarded by having cars not burn oil. i've maybe purchased a total of 8 quarts of oil for my cars between changes (that's 8 cars in 13 years). whenever i take them in for a change they are almost never down on the dipstick. 15,000 miles a year at 3,000 miles is 5 oil changes. 15,000 a year at 5,000 is 3 oil changes. that saves me maybe 50 bucks, but actually less because they always top off all my other fluids. excluding winter slush, i never need to buy wiper fluid. i save a little there. my oil change at the ford dealer is where they caught my torn cv boot on my 500 and promptly had the appointment set up for the fix the next day. if you are still under warranty and they spot something, its pretty good preventive maintenance as well.
  3. help me out,.....isn't the camaro supposed to have IRS and the 3.6 high feature as well? That, to me, would make a better performance car buy than a pillar. no one ever sits in the back of a pony car or wants the windows down with AC anyways. want a pillarless camaro? there will be a convertible. I never would expect a mustang and camaro to have AWD. a G8 or impala or park avenue? Yes. But pony cars no, so you can stop with your side swipes. as far as a car that gives a BJ, first off, i would want pushbutton start then instead of a key, and i am better off because the person in the front seat would be doing the service.....not the car itself. so.....there.
  4. the impala is a good looking car. congrats to them.
  5. http://autos.msn.com/advice/article.aspx?c...6&GT1=10367 more liberal drivel about how there are some ready made engineering cures out there right now to solve everything, including world hunger. ANother useless 'paid blogger' with no answers, just words upon words, with no conclusions, or specific proved suggestions, or validated insight. I would really like to see the proof in the pudding. All those quoted 'answer people' in that article....HOW SPECIFICALLY DO YOU SUGGEST WE CAN EASILY ACHIEVE TODAY WHAT YOU ARE SPOUTING OFF ABOUT AND IF SO, WHY HASN'T ONE OF THE WORLD'S AUTOMAKERS ALREADY DONE IT???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? what would an ENVIRONMENTAL engineer know about internal combustion engines or crash structures?
  6. maybe so, but it looks top heavy and short.
  7. yes, the G8 ad was AWESOME
  8. they had an ad in MT also.....where they talked a lot about the design and the interior. proof is in the pudding. the ads are ok and flashy, but until we get driver reviews and the car is in public to be available to be judged for styling, the ads might be a bit ineffective.
  9. it's ugly to have them in front, except that pic of the older cadillac where they used ot design a spot for then, that was ok...pretty nice actually.
  10. no sweat...lol
  11. the overall effect is not very 5 series. in person. the greenhouse is as much an x-type vibe as any bmw.....and no BMW has this accords flabby proportions....i.e. huge overhangs, etc. BMW's usually look taut where this accord has a bit of a flabby waisted look to it. it still looks like a generic asian sedan. i still say it has the 'premium korean' look going.
  12. where the hell did i ever compare the stratus and the accord?
  13. you knew my aunt jasmine?
  14. too tired to type tonight. i can say quickly i thought the interior was a bit too snug considering the hype, the seats are narrow, and that it is not aspirational. however, it is nice enough...nicer than nearly all other midsize. seemed both fresh and dated, and cheap and expensive, all at the same time. trunk is miniscule. its deep, but not very wide or tall in useful space. a very disappointing trunk.
  15. looks very clumsy. pass.
  16. miller lite doesn't taste very good either......
  17. i sat in a new accord for quite a bit at the dealer yesterday. I'll chime in on a few things here when i get a chance.
  18. whilst on the casting couch? Sure!
  19. that gives moviemakers a big sign of relief then.
  20. lol it has to be your own urine in order to be effective is what i think they are saying
  21. my question. did they actually think about making the show first, or did they simply find a rising star and sit in a conference room and say, 'damn, i think we should come up with a show for her? no new ideas? let's just remake bionic woman!!!!!!!!' the entertainment world is so awesome. here's a thought......how could a completely lame and pointless show like 'just shoot me' be on the air for like 7 years? i hope y'all can understand the point i am making here. it's like they will do anything to create a tv show these days. so who plays bionic man? THE HOFFER, no doubt.
  22. http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/urine.htm go ahead, have another sip! http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/urine.html "When re-utilised" ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
  23. people will likely say the same thing when they follow one on the road for the first time. i don't need to defend what i said, i'll just be waiting until others get the exact same reaction after seeing one.....cuz it will be a common reaction still kinda looks like this or a scaled down savana/express
  24. Here's my review on the new Bionic Woman in summation, i think it's a great show. i will have to make a point to watch an actual episode next week. i think it is a great show and great success for NBC.
  25. rav4=no cargo room. as a isaw roaming around the honda showfloor today. i sure hope a toyota backlash is brewing.
