  1. looked at the astra xr AGAIN today w/ wife this time and might finally have buy off from the wife, including the manual trans. plus, GM Cd sent me a thing saying they are giving another 500 bonus cash to me. the planets may be aligning.........hows that 4 positive. (which would offset last weeks dour mood at work with layoffs pending) Cobalt SS wins R/T best sport compact comparo (go to see thread) that's positive!
  2. LMAO!!!!!!!! pontiac is carr.....! "G3 arriving soon"!
  3. OJ is a scumbag pond slime, evil, cretin. Worse yet, there were women who chose to go out with or marry him and have sex with him. CHOSE it. he is so evil, you wish very bad things upon him.
  4. why someone who could vote does not really i don't get that. i mean, c'mon, vote for cryin out loud. and satty is right. no reason to gripe if you don't.
  5. btw, mods pls move the thread if i have this in the wrong spot

  8. 3.19 you had to know it was going to cheapen before the election
  9. question. can the CC be had with a manual trans?
  10. awesome pics lt. thanks! the routan is a nice surprise in the van market. it lacks the dowdiness of the dodge twins. the dash is cleaner and more attractive. It drives decently, even if its not as aggressive as i would like. the brooke shields as spokesperson is marketing genius. I compared the way it drove to the Ford Edge. the steering is lighter and a little quicker than the edge, and aside from a longish wheelbase, the routan felt fairly nimble. the quest might be a bit more lively, and the odyssey for sure feels more skittish, but the routan is a nice blend. its very quiet...where the honda is not. the honda van really has been far overrated. I really think if enough folks drive the Routan, it could spur a minivan renaissance.
  11. there is no reason why opel's lineup corsa astra insignia zafira captiva and whatever else couldn't be successful here. of course, pricing is important. but simple thing like an armrest and a cupholder + good engine power is all they need to differ from their euro cousins. we need to show the uptight euros the joys of sipping on a diet coke while driving. plain and simple, as much as anything MANAGEMENT INCOMPETENCE IN DETROIT is the root of GM's problems, especially since they done ok tackling reducing union wages thing. the only caveat i would add to that saturn / opel lineup....if the astra wasn't here in sedan form, than bring back the Ion. astra, must be 3 door, 5 door, wagon, sedan. did GM ever stop to think.....maybe lacking NAV and SYNC hurts a brand like Saturn? Cmon people, folks are a year or two away from expecting TELEVISION and INTERNET in their cars also. GM never seems to get entertainment and tech in cars. OnStar is left for dead unless they evolve to become an entertainment provider also, I feel. On Star should have purchased XM and Sirius and also aligned itself with Direct TV for cars......and add streaming audio, true NAV, and internet services. GM could seriously lead in incar tech and they choose not to. ANother management failure. that window is gone. Saturn as a brand could really piggy back on being top notch in tech.
  12. x2, the out of money tagline is getting old and tired. if you're out of money, then shut your doors. GM if they had their $h! together could build most of their cars of 4-5 platforms.
  13. what was that uh-boot?
  14. if i were in the oval office with her, someone would be rising to the occasion.
  15. olive garden does indeed suck anyone like HOOTERS?
  16. AB just does suck and they have decor from 1987
  17. wow. that was painful to watch. Palin was all rhetoric (although looking great MMMM) and Biden must be the only politician who has no skill to come off even half capable in comparison to the newbie. He showed no charisma, no attack, no upper hand, no experience, he had a few moments (the i've been around the table bit). Man, if he gets in office they should put Barack in a bullet proof bubble because we'd be in a serious hurtbag with Biden in power. He showed me nothing in terms of presence to lead the country. Palin did better than I expected and didn't bomb but still didn't convince me she is capable. Like i said tho, worst thing is, Biden showed me nothing either. he should have put her away 2 minutes into the game and the fact is he comes off as clueless as anyone. Biden should have been like USA dream team hoops, the year they stomped everyone.....instead he's like the white 7-2 center who can't dunk the ball if left alone under the basket. i cannot believe this is the best we can offer. obama, biden, mccain, palin. its like picking between cancer, heart disease, an aneurism, and a flesh eating virus
  18. so no bed bounce then? just don't sit on the tailgate...oh wait you did say its better than tundra.
  19. VW still has attractive leases, so this helps them from a huge nosedive. surprised to see the rabbit down.
  20. i see the rep the CX-7 has as a gas hog with cheap interior is indeed reflected in its sales. i wonder how long until its a fleet whore.
  21. mits has interesting option pack for the galant for 09. v6 with a new 5 speed auto and most options like auto climate and sunroof on the cheap. only option is dealer installed leather. goes for 20 and change. A nice option compared to some pricier midsize v6's. and they have had some advertising support on their fabulous 4 cylinders.
  22. is the debate tonight?
