  1. its lame to use the packaging and weight argument against AWD because you can use the exact same argument FWD vs. RWD. FWD is more space efficient and lighter than RWD in most applications.
  2. and i thought debra messing was the only flat thing that would incite a tent in my cargoes.
  3. If this car does not debut in NA here with some kind of high performance version, I will be pissed off royally. The Astra and Taurus are contending for my next car title.
  4. I am waiting for this car to get here! NFW i buy this with a Buick badge though.......Saturn or Pontiac please.
  5. sales numbers prove that rwd is shunned in bad climate states when other options are available. we don't need to go through this again.
  6. keep it simple. venti coffee with two or three added shots. high energy. no cal. lasts all day. MMMMMMMMMMMM
  7. aveo 2.0 yeah its busy, but look at what a discombobulated cluster fk the Honda Fit is and that gets all sorts of praise.
  8. the rents still live in GF, that's near where I grew up. That was the Alerus center you saw. BIG metal shack. they play football in there. My all school reunion is there this summer. Rydell is where I buy my cars from (my dad's old boss' brother sells cars there). All GM brands sans saab and hummer under one roof. I went to school in Fargo (college). It might seem modern. (where did you eat the thai by the way...was it mongolian?). But its misleading. Its all a sprawling mess of apartments and retail. Nice enough town. 3 colleges. There's is like over 20,000 college students there. Lots of college girls, if you are looking. Lots of drinking in both towns. And its cheap to drink there. Thing about North Dakota....the weather always sucks. And travelling the barren interstates in the winter is always a high risk proposition because the weather can turn at any time and you have the full monty....freezing ass cold, wind, ice, snow. One wrong move and you are dead. Truthfully if I could make a half ass decent living I might consider moving back there and fading away into oblivion. But the state prefers to sit on its ass and concentrate mostly on ag. If they would diversify........There is a microsoft office in fargo. They probably pay those smart midwest work ethic kids half what they pay the douchebags in Seattle and probably get 3 times the work out of them.
  9. what's the cheapest Audi Quattro with 350hp?
  10. siegen, this SHO is cheaper than your meat slicer grille TL (totally lame) and RL (really lame) SHAWD cars.......cheaper than a comparably equipped TL by like 6 grand..... better looking inside and out more power? Ford 1, Acura zipola.
  11. i thought it did? i'm not fully up on it but i thought the fusion sport was AWD too
  12. Fusion sport has more power than any SHO and is priced cheap. So, buy a Fusion sport then. Base taurus alone has 260+ hp and is adequately light. Ford has the whiners covered. Unless you want a pushrod Impala on a W chassis to drive around in, be my guest.
  13. 16/25 sure beats 13/20 though, doesn't it? even with two more wheels driving the car it sucks less fuel than the gxp
  14. and you probably use your fingernails to peel potatoes instead of a potato peeler. You probably play football on grass with dress shoes too. wow and all those that have bought SUV's and crossovers in the last 15 years disagree, BTW. Otherwise i think toyota would have been peddling grand marquis knockoffs instead of AWD venzas now.
  15. in any case, consumer reports sucks.
  16. yeah, the starbucks french roast is what i am blending into the 8 o clock columbian to make it drinkable. the french roast on its own is a bit much for me.....i am warming up to it though. Since being out of work, i figured I can cease my 3.50 a day starbucks or caribou habit. XL coffee with 2 shots added. Although buying good whole bean coffee isn't that much cheaper seemingly. I mowed through a bad of starbucks columbian in a week and a half. I suppose that's 40 bucks worth of depth charges for 7 bucks, but still. Thankfully, my machine at home uses a permanent filter.
  17. yeah, they need to get rid of the B pillar.
  18. i hope the camshafts don't explode like the gaza strip.
  19. i wonder how many unmarked SHO cop cars we'll see.........
  20. i like the LX cars and the SRT is a hoot (i test drove one once) but its so butch. I think the SHO will appeal a little more to euro intenders than the LX cars will.
  21. shrimp and scallops, yum. mussels etc. GROSS. the fish you mentioned is all good. But when it comes to that, steak or chicken or pork tends to win out for me.
  22. We all know how much consumer reports sucks at selecting their favorite cars. Well, I read their recent coffee article where they said 'eight o clock' coffee was the 'best'. I do know its the CHEAPEST. So, needing to conserve $$$$ lately, I bit, and in lieu of the starbucks....I got some of this crap. Tried it. EWEEEEEEEEE. How the FFFFFFKKKKK does this stuff win a comparo over starbucks and caribou? I end up blending the 8 o clock beans with some french roast starbucks i wasn't using, in order to get the stuff drinkable. OY. CONSUMER REPORTS IS USELESS!!!!
  23. Ford was smart enough to take away the objection to buying such a high hp car. G8 will rot on lots in winter in northern climes because it doesn't have AWD. Ford takes away the objection to either FWD or RWD by just saying 'drive all 4 wheels....just like Audi etc.'. So Ford isn't stupid like GM in that regard. And evo is like 38 grand. I'd rather have this AWD turbo than an EVO at this price. And it will be more enjoyable than say a butch hemi LX chrysler.
  24. she doesn't shave her pits and she has a potty mouth. but she's a beast in the hay.
