wheres the olds aurora?

i spent most of last sunday slumming around piloting his 08 grand prix. i must say there is no way i would take one if given to me for free. there are some good things about it tho.

no stick/turbo in the regal, no chance of me caring. that would be perfect vs jetta passat turbo and lesser eqipped a4's. otherwise i wont be shopping regal.

regal will be 4 cyl only to differentiate from lacrosse. this to me guarantees the 4 cyl turbo will be here because NFW buick can market the regal with the normally aspirated engine by itself. also, if the turbo is available i cannot see them not offering a manual because the manual will get the most out of the turbo. so by nature the regal will be a very different car than the lacrosse. it will be smaller, different interior, four cylinder only, no all wheel drive.

your car looks great and the wheels are perfect. i love those wheels! i so much prefer cab forward to the gangsta style of the LX cars now.

maybe it is time to love buick again.

update. at the advice of a transmission shop guy (my dad's uncle used to own the tranny shop).....he suggested trying a bottle of LUBEGARD tranny additive to see if it helps. I had also heard of Lucasoil being helpful. BUt this guy said, only Lubegard. I dumped in a bottle. Seems to help some. Doesn't BANG off shifts now nearly as much. I know its a temporary fix. But if it helps my for 2-4 months, until i can get a plan to get into something new, then 10 bucks is dandy vs. 3 grand.

we had 2 or 3 vegas and 3 chevettes in our fam growing up, and i liked em all. the vegas rusted and the motors you'd have to keep rebuilding. but ya know, the vega was a hoot to drive. my chevette scooter was fun too. i wish i had a car like the chevette scooter these days.

the opel version of the coupe would be the best bet to succeed. we already have the camaro for the smoy burnout crowd. the opel design would hold up well against the current starch coupes.

i had once thought of getting a U body to replace my aztek, since they were from the same gene pool (consider a rendezvoux). but then the lambdas came out, and after driving one and seeing how much more desirable the lambda is it makes you want to hold out. before the financial meltdown, the outlook could actually be leased really cheaply. now of course, that won't happen. Most of the traverses even on chevy lots are north of 40k and GM just doesn't get that most people don't want or have that kind of jing these days which is why GMs lunch will continue to get eaten. hard to pay for the GM at that price when a flex or MKt with ecoboost tire shredder can be had for the same or little more.

well sometimes it takes a bit for tent to rise so a delayed reaction is understandable. now, back to regular network programming.

a better looking one, yes. better dash, and slightly different suspension tune. the 4.0 routan i drove was good. to me, you buy the VW for the looks alone.

the 3.5 gets good FE i hear, but i have seen user reports in various cars with the 3.9 that suggests its a gas hog.

the 010 shelby mustang i sat in last week had a luxurious interior. there is your personal luxury coupe. or who knows which special edition mustang it was. it sure was nice inside.

srx will sell very well

the only vans i would consider are the routan, quest. odyssey is tinny and loud. chrysler vans are ok but the routan looks nicer. but if you view the uplander terraza etc. as an alternative to a 3 row SUV, then its not a bad idea. 3 rows of seats and more room than say, a cx-9. plus those vans can be had with AWD. i'd suggest an extended warranty but honestly any issues with the manifold gaskets were corrected in 04 i think. and the only other thing to obsess about would be the 4wd system and tranny which would be covered by the std 5/100 gm warranty.

i grilled up a pound and half of steak for myself tonight and wolfed it down. a tiny hint of pink but otherwise i like it medium well. i like to know its done, but not charred.

all dealers have almost no inventory. and to some degree they planned it this way. when the market turned, they wanted to boost transaction prices. and car and clunkers increased demand artificially. plant shutdowns were partially to starve dealers so they could bring inventory down and thus, not have to fire sale stuff. actually on used vehicles, prices are up on the exact same vehicles maybe 10-15% or more over this time last year right before the crash.

now something is fked on my itunes videos because my apple tv says it is not authorized to play the f@#king songs i paid for and reside on my computer. bitches. and i don't have the energy to slueth why exactly the f@#k it won't play cherry pie when i want. but at least its not window vista

the feds really need to relax the rules and certification process so that carmakers would bring more diesels to market.

the CC is nice, but the cheap vw lease is about the only way to afford that puppy.
