  1. yes, dat too.
  2. the 3.0 is pointless. the vue does not have the 6 speed. the buick version would with the 4 presumably. buick does need to think turbo. unlike honda and mazda, whose 4 popper turbo crossovers drink fuel at an alarming rate, i think GM could definitely make a market splash by adding the 4 popper turbo to the equinox/terrain/buick variant, as well as the malibu/regal and products like the orlando down the line.
  3. checked out LaX at a dealer this evening. WOW. the exterior is quite awesome in the flesh. the sweepspear and grille in photos look cheesy but in the flesh its captivating. the rear deck although a lexus knockoff is quite tasty also. there is not a bad line on the car. the rear window and taillights are masterful. the interior clearly is a HUGE upgrade over common GM fare. although I still feel by looks alone the seats did not look sculpted nor cushy and the leather looked slightly cheap. Usually buick leather is good though so i will wait for the but test. i would guess the interior will come in at about a B+. the design is wonderful and the steering wheel and gauges look fantastic but the center stack, leather and door plastic still seem not quite the best. not audi like at least. its still a delish interior dont get me wrong... i didnt think i would be keen on this car but man its a beautiful buick. also, the regal is passat like and the lacrosse is a different car. there will be no confusion between the two. seemed like rear leg room is smaller than it should be. I've sat in a new Taurus limited. Its pretty damn amazing inside. this looks like its nice too. i checked out a new SHO the other day on a lot which was right next to an 09 taurus. the new taurus is garagantuan, HUGE. its a beast. The LaCrosse has a tact and elegance and grace long since missing for buick and not really present in the taurus. its nice to have the taurus and the lacrosse, but man the lacrosse is nice.

test drove the fit. it handles well. power is decent but lacks pep. gearbox is good but whats the point if no torque. interior is loud and noisy. chassis feels insubstantial. interior design is gimmicky and plastics are not the best. nice ride but honestly the only virtue the fit has is handling and even then the SX4 is 97% as good. Sx4 is a far better way to spend your money than the fit, the only exception is the fit cargo packaging may be the decider for those that really need it. fit would not be a good car on a long trip where a car like the cobalt with stick absolutely would be a great travelling car.
  6. INFP, almost every time i take one. I also know a lot of people who do what i did (architect) who were also INFP or INTJ
  7. Nutella hazelnut cocoa spread is good. but i think its more sugan than nut butter. never had cashew butter. i hear almond butter is good. is there walnut butter? walnuts i could really enjoy all day. I just had a PB hit a couple hours ago. Need to go get another! Mouth watering for some jif natural.......
  8. wife had an OMNI. pile of crap! her citation and fairmont were not much better!

giving honda 18k for the crackerbox fit is a crime. i'll take the kia/warranty and save 4k and get the BAMR.
  12. aura is a much nicer car even than the gp
  13. monounsaturated fat, like olive oil. google flatbelly diet.
  14. PB is one of the best things for you. Its a MUFA. I did not know Smuckers made PB. I will have to scope that out.

  16. most definitely JIF! Jif Creamy! I love the Jif Natural too. Yummy. Trying the Simply Jif and Jif Crunchy these days too. Another one I tried recently was Trader Joes unsalted creamy, although i hate having to refrigerate peanut butter. Thought i'd give the whole foods peanut butter a try. Every time I try skippy, meh. Doesn't match up to Jif. The walmart and target brands are ok but in truth JIF reigns supreme and has something going on with it that just rocks. I am even split between the natural and the regular creamy depending on my mood.
  17. it wouldn't hurt GM to send them a little gratuity. Or a new Transit Connect to make deliveries in. WHOOPS.
  18. i'll gladly test drive as many cars as you want......in the meantime i will be clicking lots of ads........
  19. Versa XL7 Rav4. the three test drives or rentals in my recent memory that led me to speak very negatively about the vehicle. i wanted to gouge my eyeballs out after testing a toyota sienna once too. subaru forester could possibly be the worst test drive ever........the suzuki forenza would be the next worst.
  20. celine is knocked up again. she contributes her eggs to create a wunderchild, that and albums in both english and french.
  21. the news postings are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down since over a year ago. for gm and all brands. i read most of the new stuff on GMI......
  22. in its own bubble its prob a nice car. but what is the MSRP? then, compare it to everything else you can get at that price. i don't think it has an identity compared to what else is available in that arena. Its looks Korean. I'd almost have to go with the Acura really lame (RL) over this. actually, this is one car where the hoffmeister dogleg kink on the rear window should have been done different. i think avoiding this now passe c pillar treatment on this car would have helped a lot. the sculpting of the front end is not bad, but after the firewall the rest of the car loses me.
  23. pass. bleh.
  24. vince burlapp's site has an ATS pic up
  25. great point. there is better thread for this on GMI. although, GM prob needs a 3.0 litre version of this for some international reason and needs to spread the production of it around to make it financially viable is my guess. they should retune it for decent torque. this engine should not exist in the SRX. it should only be in front drive lacrosse as a base motor.
