  1. mid nineties Lexus SC300 coupe with in line 6 / manual trans? they did make that i think. any ways to force feed that beeoch?
  2. yet you can still buy mitsubishis buick lives, saturn and pontiac do not. for me, i wanted to buy an astra. i assume there is none new left to pick from, i wonder, astras, auras, outlooks, does resale and used values TANK now?
  3. we complain because the names SUCK ASS as in tongue in cheek way down far, if you know what i mean. what sort of dip$h! came up with those? marketing degree and nice clothes doesn't make up for being stupid. Verano sounds like Murano and Verona mutated. I go to starbucks to get a Cafe Verona, maybe this is the angle they are after. Christ, how f.cking dumb are these people? WORK HARDER ON THIS YOU MORONS. or, i could be the one who is effed in the head and it could turn out to be HUGE. BUICK VERANO, the car that brings GenY back to buick. record sales, wouldn't you really rather have a buick? i always thought buick had french sounding names, now its italian? wtf? i thought buick was big in china? well, this isn't as bad as "G3" or 'terrazza' for the record, 'bolero', 'bengal' maybe not good for a compact but good names for buick. i can see Encore from its so damn easy.....en-clave, en-core, en-core, ac-cord can't they use 'rendezvouz' for something?
  4. hey bob lutz....those names SUCK ASS
  5. someone dig that impala badge up and spit shine it..........
  6. the czar saw how much profit cars like this can make..........anything to help dar mission of funding the fed treasury
  7. old 928? LOL
  8. i know this probably doesn't float your boat, but i was looking up used chrysler crossfires on line last night. that had a couple SRT-6 manual ones. 2 seats RWD 330hp. Rare, different. I'm guessing its not your cup of tea though. You'd all be amazed how many LOW MILEAGE crossfires are out there in the sytem. i was fixated on a gold coupe with stick and there was an alabaster one that caught my eye too. thing is, most of these rides are 20k and below, not a lot of investment. Maybe you could find an SRT-6 for a project car and find a way to hit 400hp? I honestly myself would look at Crossfires before a solstice or a sky.
  9. that is excellent news for BV. I know he is great with photography. this is really awesome news.
  10. that doesn't even go far enough to say how really $h!ty this is. i would order an immediate redesign of the interior and a facelift of the exterior, and just hope it can salvage something.
  11. wow this is terrible. outisde looks like 1993. the interior looks even cheaper than the tundra and about as imaginitive as a 1986 corolla (or pick any other crapbox toyo) what a steaming turd. this, my friends, is what is called "Mailing it in"
  12. it's because they can't even get sex from the ugly girls, and the boys or anything close to alpha males won't hang out with them either. it probably would help if computer parts didn't sexually arouse them. too many video games as a child will do that to you.
  13. beyond awesome. put that in your CAFE pipe and smoke it
  14. http://blog.caranddriver.com/10best-test-n...volkswagen-gti/ just to reiterate what i experienced sitting inside an 01 GTI the other day....i said it was very nice. i am not alone
  15. looks good. i liked the 2008 front end redo.
  16. she liked the 3.6 idea, was that an admission that the v6 3.0 is underpowered?
  17. the woman thing doesnt surprise me, i have seen quite a few older/old women drivng fits around actually......
  18. it acutally looks pretty nice inside the vehicle. Subaru pulled it off nicely and it looks pretty good.
  19. i test drove a 2010 outback a few weeks ago. i liked the interior a lot. the drive was ok. most folks will be satisfied with this vehicle. i am not sure who would buy a CRV over a more basic outback. the legacy in lower trim is a nice value buy. the interior really is a comfy place. not overly cushy, but the finish and fit and level of amenity is better than most UJS type cars. I would actually prefer this interior over the plasticky and cheap buick lacrosse. CVT was ok, i still am not a big fan. rear seat is spacious and habitable for humans! Legacy would be my top pick for japanese brand mid sizers.
  20. you definitely need to hunt for diesel in many parts. right now, with diesel and gas close in price but only like 2.40 you don't save much now vs gas per year when the price is this low. IMHO the convenience of not having to fill so much and the higher resale might still make it worth a diesel purchase. i just think its $h!ty they dont offer a 6 speed manual 4 door golf.
  21. so, Mr. dumba55 buyer, do your research and make SURE you have the car you want when you buy it. DUH. GM shouldn't take a bath because someone doesn't like the cupholders. IMM, here are legit reasons for returning a car.... mpg grossly off expectation made wrong powertrain choice made wrong vehicle type choice (i.e. small car vs SUV) seats cause bad physical discomfort driving the car safety is impaired (i.e. bad vision etc).
  22. agree. VW can offer the Routan but can't offer the scirocco?
  23. the 5 has power and torque, but is not as smooth as the better fours, has a bit of a coarse growl, and doesn't run up the rpm's as willingly as better motors. in terms of value for the price though it does well. its biggest flaw at the value price points is the lesser mpg.
  24. sat in an 010 GTI today. i must say, albeit at 30k, the interior is top drawer. the wheels i hate. but the interior is great and honestly pretty much would pass in an Audi. they had a 010 jetta TDI manual on the lot. 24k, no options. too pricey IMHO. Golf TDI maybe not as offensive price wise. they had an 010 Jetta S, listed at about 18,700. the jetta gets the new steering wheel which is a big improvement. new seat cloth too that looks nice, no penalty for opting for the S model..even the hubcaps fooled me. this car is a bargain. can't wait to see the new regular Golf. the new dash, although boring, is very nicely done. they had a 2010 wolfsburg jetta. basically a non GLI with leatherette and the turbo motor/non chrome grille. 23k. In my mind, a performance bargain. side note, the VW CC is awesome. i had plenty of head room in the rear, too. Love the CC.
