  1. There's your interior revisions on the Camaro people......Cruze wheel with the bottom lopped off (not a bad thing)......new gauge faces, some of the Nebraska plains dash broken up. That motor though! Mustang GFY. I want to see the antithesis of this now. I want that turbo 4 camaro!
  2. yum, time to seek out a Journey R/T and Caravan R/T.....
  3. Nice Mitsubishi beak. Throw some eyebrow headlights on the thing and sell it in the Mits dealers too! Very Evoesque beak. Very glad Dodge is still building beasts like this.
  4. pencil sketches ok? I am not yet privvy to such technological tools. Or can I just post a picture of a Mitsubishi Lancer GTS with a Dodge grille and wallah "2012 Dodge Lancer" Because that's all Dodge really should do. What is Fiat's compact? No amount of FIAT CURRENCY could make a business case for it?
  5. I have to admit, the GLI does look like it may pan out to be something more PURE. A true baby German pedigree sport sedan. Far from nougat. When that new Passat hits market, there will have to be some correction or justification for current Passat pricing. for example, Passat S will be cheaper than a Jetta SEL, like the one I drove. I get that the SEL Jetta has more kit, but maybe not all that much. Same engine, larger car.....the SEL Jetta still has stick and vinyl at 23,500.........
  6. ah, so many things you can do with a finger. So many places to put it.
  7. either way its a huge improvement.
  8. lol.....whatever. when i was checking leasing pricing on the new regal the other day at a dealer he told me the residual on the regal, and then he said 'that is better than the toyotas now, some of them are only at 41%' scru toyota
  9. I knew blu would be in on this! Here's the thing. GM can't even get the cruze sedan to the US without a 3 year delay, they can't even get the hatchback here to go with it! they can't even get a replacement Impala in place after how many years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veN2gyCEj8s Happy Birthday Happy Birthday
  11. http://2011optimatestdriveoffer.cloudapp.net/ 25 bucks to you for driving a kia optima. WOOT!
  12. drive a lucerne and a v6 lacrosse back to back and that will approximate how much improved the Impala will be as far as powertrain. lazy to crazy in one fell swoop. I cannot see them standing pat on the interior. If they do then why even bother. Even if the dash shape is not redone, then redo the gauges and the center stack devices. And get a new plastic spec for all the parts.
  13. finally, a w body after like 40 years with gm's best powertrain.
  14. The SE option Sienna is supposed to have the best suspension out of all vans these days.
  15. I sat in the new Quest for the first time the other day and was not expecting nice but it was. It doesn't feel like a huge shipping crate. The interior is an Infiniti, not a cheap Nissan. Of course the one I sat in was loaded and had leather. Outside is still ugly but I left thinking it really is something that will snag some buyers. The Dodge interior is vastly improved. The Odyssey has a sporting attitude. Minivans will regain their sales mojo if they can shed weight and improve mpg as well as keep price down. The Chrysler vans sell well to a lot of folks because of their price advantage. The Honda in particular is too pricey. The other thing that would help is if the vans took on a little more crossover personality. That being offering the all wheel drive. The Toyota does and that's it. For 40k in a family vehicle it needs to have all wheel drive for wider acceptance.
  16. its not that its bad, its that it could be way better. the design is bland and materials could be upgraded a little. together as it is now it has a bit of a faux (old Korean) quality to it.
  17. I like the rear of the Juke. Some recent Nissan elements and a little bit of Volvo. I just cannot stand the beak. Nissan should add a 3-4 hundred to the price and throw some sound deadener and better plastic in it.
  18. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2011/02/2012-hyundai-genesis-to-debut-in-chicago-with-5-0-liter-v8-8-speed-transmission.html i hope they update the $h!hthy interior
  19. black on black. nice car.
  20. i think the Borrego was DOA dead on arrival Kia mut be pleased as punch that their stupid van is worthy of a tete' a tete' on an internet message board. Some PR/communications intern for Kia is sitting at their desk somewhere giddy as hell that their assignment to track the web presence of the Kia Sedona is CREATING A BUZZ!
  21. http://www.canadiandriver.com/2011/02/01/test-drive-2011-kia-sedona-ex-luxury.htm I guess I wasn't smoking crack....
  22. If Nissan just changed the front end, it would fix all the styling issues on the Juke.
  23. I doubt there will be a Sedona replacement. They had this concept recently that was more like a Ford Flex. I think that is where Kia is headed next. I checked out the inside of a Nissan Quest yesterday. I didn't expect to like it but I have to admit I liked the fresh take on vans. It had no pretense of being a semi trailer attached to the front row of a crossover. The cargo area was less then every minivan but the packaging was more like a taller and more spacious Ford Flex. If you look at the Quest in profile, it is almost a taller boxy flex, with a swoopy unboxy front end and some really dramatic swooshing creases on the side to break up the box. The interior of the Quest was much more like an Infiniti than a Nissan. Ugly aside, I think the new Quest will snag a few buyers. The relevance here is that I think once minivan makers can see that they don't always have to build a minivan as large as possible, if they can shrink the package and redefine it a bit....then the weights will come down.
  24. the upgraded audio does have more power. But the sound quality is just not at all what it should be. There used to be complaints about the Saturn Astra radios, especially the upgraded one also. For some reason the Opel systems the promise far outweighs the performance. Bottom line, the sound quality and overall power are both lacking for a premium car. I think the feature set is there.
