depends, are they going to be the douches that post on edmunds inside line, autoblog, and import freak sites? I can see the reasoning though, site traffic.

Nissan News: Crossing Pathfinder: Nissan Reveals The 2013 Pathfinder
regfootball replied to William Maley's topic in Infiniti
the move to the crossover is to please the majority market and losing 500 lbs is a plus. they still have the armada? or no... the styling OTOH is a huge dud. bland, sell out. yuck. -
21,000 Mile 1982 Chevrolet Celebrity
regfootball replied to wildmanjoe's topic in Auctions and Classifieds
rare 2 door celeb. likey. -
the smart car i drove was junky. colorado and canyon, hate to say, pretty junky also.
-
Lincoln should only have like 3 or 4 cars. i.e. where they are now? LOL MKZ....MKS.....a small one, MKX, not sure they need an MKT although I like it myself. Maybe a small crossover. MKr is a car that should have been.
-
a complaint i hear a lot from customers is that the cars they are driving are too light for winter. cars like the altima, mazda3, etc. you never really hear a GM owner complain that their car is too light. I think ford has fixed the dual clutch problems on the focus for awhile now. I drove a new one that shifted great. I have an acquaintance who has one and he said a tranny flash took care of all the gremlins on his. Although ain't it funny, the fusion is not dual clutch. If i believe reviews, the new Versa sedan is the worst new car on the road.

my hope is when ford has the 2.3 ecoboost ready for the mustang that they move that in to the taurus, flex, explorer, mkt etc. that little bit extra displacement i think can help a lot for these larger fords. I think ford is looking to lighten all its vehicles but the P90 volvo platform these are all on, i doubt they will try to replace it. so they need to boost up the engine IMO.

lmao. although i admit, the notion of 28mpg in this thing is intriguing. now how about a 2.0 eb flex?
-
sort of shocked but i admit the RDX was a good save and the CRV while milquetoast is dead eye on the segment.
-
Subaru, like VW has cheapened their product but they still have managed to hang on to their weird customer base. I do not hear much good about how these new Subies hold up or drive...although when i have driven them they seem pleasant enough. Just not at all entertaining. The fact that the IMpreza has real room inside is a big thing.

i think they will and deserve to. the miata is very important to the mazda image, but the failure of the mazda6 to sell over the last few years is what has really done mazda in. CX-5 is blasting out of showrooms. Mazda3 has a good track record. New Mazda6 needs to be a hit for Mazda to make out alright.
-
outlander sport is nice. galant replacement and now lancer too is needed. new outlander misses a bit.
-
it looks nice in the showroom. a couple years later, not so much.

i actually think what will occur.... the ATSv will first get a TTv6 because GM is designing it and needs to spread it around in order to pay for it. The Caddy will have a high transaction price which will fill the coffers faster to amortize that engine. Then, as the new Camaro is being designed/prepped, the v8 will find its way into the engine bay. There will prob be a supercharger aftermarket kit on the ATS. So someone can buy the 470hp ATSv8 and put their own aftermarket on it and get to 600+. I don't see Camaro moving to alpha for sale until maybe 2018 but the engineering will coincide with when they move a v8 into the ATS. And by then the twin turbo will be in lots of other GM products. I actually would not be surprised if the TTv6 replaces the 3.6 actually in the ATS lineup.

the malibu's fatal flaw is the rear seat and rear door access. it doesn't make it a bad car, but it is a fatal objection in the showroom for some. after all, family cars are about room. I like the new Bu, hate that it has no backseat but if the deal was sweet enough, i might overlook the flaw. If it drives nice, i would compromise......as long as there was not a better deal / car combo out there to compete. for some reason, many of the cars in this class need $$$$ on the hood or low prices to move. we recently had an almost new 12 mazda6 we couldn't get rid of on the lot even after price gashing. look at fusion. 25k units in one month but the rebates and lease deals that were incentivized were obscene.

Sales: July 2012 - Mercedes-Benz/smart

those who were killed by the recession have already been put out to pasture. those who merely had their wages froze, or suffered little, or made out like bandits at the expense of everyone are in line for new rigs.- 9 replies
