1. The Viper is certainly the nicest kit car out there!
2. The thread with ideas on how to fix the Malibu. A coupler sketches coming up. Or maybe this is a 'what they should have done' thread.
3. no one is really going to care much about a Viper when the 14 corvette hits lots.
4. the biggest problem is the footspace and kneespace. the front seat bottom frame and base needs to be completely redone, and likely that part of the floorpan as well. Sculpting the seat is only going to give you a little gain. GM nearly always sucks at packaging. Don't think I'm right? Look under the hood of the malibu and see the near foot of wasted space between the motor and front bumper stuff. That could be interior space. The interior of the Malibu is pretty good, but they need to lose the sh1tty looking strakes, redo the gauge pods and redo the cupholders. The base seat cloth sucks too. Other than that, I really believe the Malibu's interior is in the upper half of the class. With leather, it's positively bangup.
5. go to chevy.com and try to build a sonic with turbo plus manual.....i swore it said "5 speed manual"....... unless it's user error or their site is hosed.
6. just tried pricing Sonics......only a 5 speed manual available? I thought the turbo got a 6 speed? DOES ONE MORE TRANNY GEAR REALLY BREAK THE BANK????
7. 25-27k starting price would be good.....
8. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Drew Dowdell" data-cid="721049" data-time="1358517670">
it's just as bad, if not worse, in the gay realm. guys aren't particularly shy about listing their racism directly in their profiles. it also seems less about culture and more about skin tone ideals. the number of dating profiles that simply say "No (ethnicity)" continuously shocks me.

Skin tone then, is really, is it a color choice, or a 'color' choice. Even for suitors who look only within 'the white race'.....I knew a lot of girls / women that even were super particular about which shade of white you were. To some degree people are even stereotyped by hair color.

10. Focus S manuals in the last couple months have been selling for 13-14k new in my old dealer group. That would be no power windows and no cruise....but i would imagine the ecoboost fiesta will be quite pricey for awhile. For this article the question would be if an EB Fiesta would price out about the same as a sim equipped Versanote. Versas pricing were misleading. You could buy a real stripper Versa for 10 grand. but the popularly equipped ones listed for like 18 -19 grand.
11. Volt can't make a lot of profit for GM. ELR is basically a Cadillac Volt (albeit a good one). So if Cadillac can make say, 5x as much money on an ELR vs. a Volt because the ELR is a Cadillac, I say go for it. It's smart amortization in this case. This means the faster they pay the Volt down, the sooner they can appropriate funds for Volt 2, the one that weighs 500 pounds or more less. Mybig fear with electrics, that somehow they will also become the natural incubator for the whole driverless car push.
12. no reason GM couldn't move 15,000 adams a year with the right price and option packages set up.
13. major pass on this thing. BLEH. It's like Borrego part 2.
14. yeah, that too. why not just stay single and play the field if that is the case. re: Asian women, yes they do tend to stay younger looking longer in many cases. I think it is because they don't all cake on ridiculous amounts of makeup like the white women.....so many of who after 25 years of tanning and war paint (makeup) and probably face jobs etc....they all look like wrinkled up cats. that's not even close to attractive. hence, full circle, a nice pleasant, pretty, and beautiful fair skinned woman for me.
15. in theory yes, in practice not as often as it sounds cheery. people like the comfort food aspect of dating someone of your same race, culture, value set, aestethic group....... to be honest, if i were ever single again, even if i found somebody interesting outside my own 'race'.....even if she seemed awesome on the surface, if her family and culture were something that was outside my preference or comfort zone I would probably move on.
16. Buick should be selling this car. Buick should be selling 3 door and 5 door astras too.
17. not in any way shape or form should your own personal mating preference be considered racism.
18. very impressed. came out a lot better than i expected, and the interior is very nice. I hope this does well!
19. Now that base 2.5 Cadillac has a competitor that it has more power than.
20. maybe nicer exterior than the fit. Inside is still cheap. It is a cheap car though.
21. yes....looks cool. nice design, from Nissan?
22. like a stretched and raised nitro with a third row and cadillac beak
23. i don't know why i think of this when i see this new mercedes
24. i agree with a lot of this, especially the airbag cover and clutter part. this car has far too many cut lines, seams, ins and outs.
