  1. The automakers and their dumb attempts to rely so much on touch screen and capacitive touch. So many people still want knobs and buttons.
  2. http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/vehicles/chevrolet/2015-cruze/feature 2015 Cruze Canada page.
  3. all the unsold ones will become demos or will get titled and driven a couple k miles and put back on the lot as used....... once the 15's come out you will see a flood of used 14's. There's actually already quite a few used Cruze diesels across the USA on autotrader. No real price advantages yet tho.
  4. Scion is so contrived. I would say fold em, but alternatively if they could innovate in the city cars / small cars niche they could really prosper. Scion really doesn't have SUV's either and that is what so many are going ape $h! on these days. LOL maybe Scion needs a midsize sedan. A tech tour de force.
  5. turditic sculpture. that new interior makes GM's interiors of the past look luxurious. that new interior is reprehensible.
  6. similar updates to the sedan with far better result. Except, still has cheap dash. Should still sell like hotcakes.
  7. Challenger interior is quite nice, too bad the Charger's was not the same actually. Better Charger grille.
  8. Depending on price, many folks would look at the trax instead of a sonic hatch.... Small Cuv's will flourish compared to small sedans and hatches because of the seating comfort and headroom factors
  9. I think to many on here, ths has been a no brainer but to me the new threats kicked Chevy to action, HR-V especially. Grille and cheap interior are already dated now, but this should last a couple years on the market here. I always knew when I was trying to convince customers to buy those SX4's, that the compact/sub size Cuv's would explode some day. I'd rather see Chevy on the leading edge of this.
  10. the 2.7 ecoboost v6 + manual would be prime in this ride. Even the forthcoming 2.3 ecoboost. thank the feds though, its all about mpg.......
  11. no it doesn't......cadillac as a whole needs a boost. Caddy needs to dial down the ATS's that they build to some lower price points and work the lease market, get some new young buyers hooked into the brand. The ATS being so tight inside turns off a traditonal Caddy buyer. XTS downturn is alarming. New CTS and all, the XTS should still be able to match its numbers from the year before. GM has a lot of segments they could stand to beef up, they've lost so much cop and van business over the years. Fusion outsold Impala + Malibu. Regal sales rebound but I bet its a lot of 13 Holdovers they had to discount the snot out of. The dealer group i used to work at has a ton of holdover 13 Regals they are marked off 5+ grand. New Regals not much more than 25k. 14 Regal just came in close second in a comparo with BMW 3 in a recent MT. And that was for the FWD version. Buick needs to tout the improvements to the Regal lineup and rebuild some excitement for that car.
  12. $h!hy winters will do that
  13. i still woulda rather they shut down dodge and chrysler and let GM, Pontiac and Saturn survive to satisfy those numbers
  14. fail to get the Nissan love from the buyers.......to me they have devolved into a not so great automaker, stooping to Toyota levels....
  15. i think Ford is fleeting the new Fusion now. Saw one with a govt tag on it the other day. Good to see a Lincoln upturn. MKX is still a nice ride and I think the MKFC can only help. MKZ had some gltiches but i think despite the cheap interior, the exterior look is unique enough to start to draw buyers. All of Ford's models remain remarkably consistent year to year........it's almost like they can engineer how many of each model they end up selling....
  16. 2 cars won't sustain a brand.... Passat that aren't diesel aren't fairing well (maybe the crap 5 cylinder was to blame...cheap interior doesn't help either). VW's 'rep' has to be part of this too.
  17. not impressive considering all the new acclaimed product. CX-5 honeymoon is over....
  18. 70%, i thought they were supposed to die.
  19. The Cruze is subject to a stop-sale for the 1.4t model, from what I read. I forget why. Nothing to do with the ignition switch. And the new fullsize trucks and SUVs are being called in for a loose trans cooler line, I believe. GM says that Cruzes equipped with the 1.4T need to have their halfshaft replaced before they shatter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IvxpNTNmzs SHATTERED
