Is this the surprise that lutz hinted at back when the camaro concept broke cover? if so this would certainly make the camaro profitable.
-
Ya sure it could be a saturn it would do great...maybe we could have a rebadge as a buick skyhawk,or a chevy monza/vega. In all realitgy though we wont see this state side...makes too much sense.

Having work for acura around 2000/2001 I loved the cl type s with navi. It was a steath car. I drove all(execpt nsx) them cars like I stole em and the cl was great. Now RSX is different too civic like for me and crappy rear view. cool seats

Mr Plow 2500HD replied to CSpec's topic in New York International Auto Show (NYIAS)
How about a lamda based version of the dodge rampage concept for chevy -
Why on earth does this thing have a mazda 3 greenhouse? Totally wrong for a Jeep Give it an aspen looking nose and leather seats and its a chrysler whatever (diplomat or new yorker would work) DC needs some fresh air

GM Statement Regarding Possible Sale of Isuzu
Mr Plow 2500HD replied to Variance's topic in General Motors
Isuzus value to GM in engineering and medium duty trucks makes this unlikely. Why do you think the duramax's are so good. Every time GM sells something it does better after, Fiat turned a profit this year and Toyota snaped up subaru real fast. Would they really like a dmax titian? -
We just have to look at the NYC transt workers union for a lession on irrational union behavior....Stike before you bargan(directly against what the interational says!), get what you want, and then the loud mouth disgruntled wanna be leadership types get it voted down by 7 friggin votes!!! Never under estimate the kooks

BMW China Partner Brilliance Sets 2007 US Rollout

There gonna sell a tons of those crap boxes over here...look at kia and hyundi people will buy the suckers on price alone wonder what warrenty it'll have? Put some half assed tv commericals on start in big cities and give credit to anybody like kia and they will sell. For the price of a base cobalt you can get a fully loaded mid size red chinese crapolo 2000 or what ever the hell it is...I expet to see them sold along side gm products or furds, dealers are greedy little people...we shall see folks -
No matter what the next Imp looks like it sould not look like a puffed honda accord like the current one does, it looks horrible cheap in all trims except SS. Build a damn distinctive car that looks good from all angles and in all trims. Rember too much reto is not good

Saturn's rebirth vexes Chevy dealers

My wife when seeing the enclave said nice truck...for an ick. Buick is stale in the minds of consumers. Saturn could fill Pontiac and Buicks role no problem. Its a troubled ship folks -
Saturn's rebirth vexes Chevy dealers

Cut the whole thing down to Chevy Saturn Caddy, b p gmc as rebadges in theur own dealerships or cut them completely. Other have said similar. With the "B" word floating about who knows. Protect the core product cut the weak -
Northstars or uv8's sound great but what about the alms program? Caddys clean up in that series against audi and the others. They have a great program based off the ls7. Would they use the uv8 or drop out? I really enjoy seeing a caddy run down vipers

fwd hemi = pacifica srt? & expanding the use of the minivan platform. would the VW version get a hemi...hey they need help...would be a great ad & sell better than eurovan

Lutz comments on the Camaro and Pontiac version
Mr Plow 2500HD replied to hyperv6's topic in General Motors
The world can do without a firebird....unless burt wants to do another movie I love the goat its the best sleeper around but dollars and sense a 4door would do better. Pontiac has too many coupes, maybe move the gto to buick as a grand sport. Camaro needs to burn rubber in 08 any later and it may be to late.. -
This may hint at a resytle of the dakota instead of the minivans. The dakota looks like crap, This rampage is kinda sweet looking, is it bigger than ridgeline?

Theres nothing wrong with badge engineering, its just everybody rembers what gm did with the g-bodies in the late 70's and eighties. Everybody does it some just better -
Lutz comments on the Camaro and Pontiac version
Mr Plow 2500HD replied to hyperv6's topic in General Motors
The pontiac rear driver could just be a rebadged Holden like current GTO. Gotta keep the aussies happy besides they have extra capacity and are tooled up...its all about cost. I like when Bob talks price points Camaros should be relitivly cheap, now if they could fix the cost of insuring these cars we would see more sales. -
This would be great for the CTS we could have 2 v-6's and 2 v-8's. That means the CTS could offer a non V series v8 car with 400hp and the V series with the 500hp ls7. CTS gets cross shopped with the 3 and 5 because it doesnt suffer from the BMW i-drive mess its a great price for what you get and the ls motor can be moded cheaply. Cant wait for the next version.

Wow toyotas really trying now they let Homer Simpson design a second car..cool. Can this wonder celica drive ON water or does it just fly? Seriously this sounds like a packaging nightmare,

If Toyota, Honda and Nissan are so great then why is it a sign of wealth and status in Japan to own a Lincoln or Caddy? The most popular car to customize is the Friggin Astro van!!! Sales are sales stop bickering about fleet versus retail, when fleets are done with cars the sell them to actual people. IF they were able to resell certain models then they wouldnt buy them. Its what you get for your money plain and simple

BDR is not alone in this. Rumor has it Nascar had some folks over at its Concord NC "reseach" facility to "study" conficated cars from Chevy mostly. Like Tony Stewards car that they took. Also the toyota cup/truck engine has the chevy tranny bolt pattern. The engine is a mix of gm and ford designs anyhow, Nascar wants to have a "common" engine soon.
