  1. Cutlass Ciera Holiday coupes are awsome, though maybe im a little bias.
  2. Is it missing the little GM badge from the side?
  3. "Very sad to see the Oldsmobile building loose its signage. I always thought it was a cool building. " Where does this say anything about GM trying to forget Olds?
  4. Now that the dust has settled, whats everyones view on GM after the end of Oldsmobile? Im still angry myself, and think Olds could have been a great product with more distinctive designs, maybe do what Saturn is doing now yet keep the full size cars too, not just midsize and small cars.
  5. Very sad to see the Oldsmobile building loose its signage. I always thought it was a cool building.
  6. A Christmas Story: "Some men are Catholics, others Baptist, my father he was an Oldsmobile man."
  7. We saw my parents 1987 Pontiac Grand Am LE coupe after we junked it! When the junk yard came to pick it up, the guy driving the truck commented how it wasnt in bad shape. 1 1/2 later we saw the same guy driving it with repair plates on it near the same junk yard while making a trip to the DMV. That was a good looking car.
  8. The ad were the Nitro jumps the car is stupid because they used a Plymouth. Why didnt they use a Toyota or some other competitors lame 90's sedan?
  9. Pontiac is looking kind of sad way down near the bottom of the cart.
  10. 1985 was a good year for Oldsmobile, one of the last good years.
  11. The 1950 Olds is the same color as the one that the GM Heritage collection owns, it was featured in this months MotorTrend Classic.
  12. I have that book, its amazing when you read of all the innovative things they did such as the development of the Rocket engine. The sad part is it ends on an optomistic note at the 100th ann. the authors not knowing that there wasnt even a full decade left.
  13. This is great that such an important name will again carry some real weight.
  14. Nice! This looks 10x better then previous small Saturns.
  15. I wish more people knew that these cars aren't as perfect as the automotive media wants you to think they are.
  16. I didn't see any shove, I think that Rick Wagner was as cool and collected as could be in that situation. I wanna know where the outrage is against ABC for posting this story with such a false title.
  17. Lets not forget the Abody Century made a lot of money for Buick, and they are known as reliable cars and were a good value for the time. Compared to the 06 cars they seem prehistoric but in 1996 Buick sold 92,468 of them, which for a car in its 15th season isnt too bad.
  18. Its a 1960 Ford Galaxie Special Starliner.
  19. My 1985 Olds Cutlass Ciera Holiday coupe passed 80,000 miles last month and my 1993 Buick LeSabre hit 93,000 on Monday.
  20. Maybe GM has really turned a corner. This is very positive and should keep the car fresh for a long time (worked with the Aurora for the first few years).
  21. 3800 was standard on 1988-1991 LeSabres, optional on 1988 Delta 88 and standard on 1989-1991 Delta 88 Models.
  22. The 3800 is a great engine, my uncle has one in his 1988 Delta 88 Royale with 331,781miles on it. I have had 2 cars with a 3800 and have been very happy with the engine. I would reccomend it to anyone.
  23. The Olds site has looked that way for almost a year now, it really could use some more video and text to make it an online encyclopedia for Oldsmobile history.
  24. I wish Oldsmobile had done ads like that to help make a connection to the famous Rocket cars of the 50's. I think this ad is great and I really like the Since 1902 part.
