  1. My 1988 Olds Delta 88 Royale with the 3800 V6 has a little over 334,000 miles, burns no oil, and starts right up.
  2. Thanks all! I got the car today and it is great! I should have pictures soon! It was a long process finding the right Aurora, I drove some, and this was the best of them. I drove a black one a few days before this one and it was a mess.
  3. Ill try to get some pics of it this weekend, and Ill get a group pick of all my GM cars.
  4. I agree with 98, when the made the announcement of the end of Olds on TV, I think it was Rick Wagner who said " Oldsmobile was a jewel in the GM crown". If anyone has the video of the announcement please post it.
  5. I just got another car, its a silver 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5 V6 with 80,000 miles. Drove a couple of Auroras and this one seems the best in terms of condition. I was shocked at how well the 3.5 pulls the car around, and the interior is a very nice black leather. Tomarrow I have to go pick it up and get it registered, I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!
  6. Keep the V6 only Saturn the way it is, it gives Saturn a more upscale position then Pontiac/Chevy with the standard 4. If they want to improve sales they should try more marketing, I haven't seen much for the Saturn line up around here.
  7. The grille looks stupid, the regular chrome grille would have been better then that.
  8. I just became a member of the RE Olds Museum about a month ago, I wanted to do my little part in keeping Oldsmobile's heritage alive and well.
  9. Good read.
  10. All thats left to do is bring back the old "Standard of the World" tag line because this is really a world class Caddy.
  11. Took the 85 Olds out for a nice beach cruise, gave it a wash, and then took it out again. I make the ususal stops at a few friends houses, and that takes up the day.
  12. 1. Suzuki 2. Isuzu 3. Saab 4. Saturn (use the Oldsmobile name again) 5. Kia 6. Scion (the answer to the question no one ever asked) 7. Land Rover
  13. One More Try by George Michael
  14. Tomarrow looks to be sunny and not killer hot so I think the 85 Olds might leave the garage for the first time in a few weeks.
  15. I wonder how much this will help GM's image to make its products seem less like gas guzzlers.
  16. Is the Electra garaged or covered?
  17. Ouch, lets hope July doesn't look like this too.
  18. This is great news! Im very happy to see the old logo comming back.
  19. I love all of the badges and emblems, in fact I added the word "Buick" and the emblem to the front door of my LeSabre, as well as a "3800 Tuned Port Injection" badge to the rear under the pass. tail lamp. The factory loaded my Cutlass up with emblems. The out side has The word "Oldsmobile Spelled out"-2 The old Oldsmobile emblem- 7 The "Rocekt emblem-3 The word "Holiday"-2 "Cutlass Ciera w/flags"-2 There is also the word Oldsmobile on the front lic. holder but its coverd with my Oldsmobile plate. I also have 2 Oldsmobile decals from the GM heritage center and one Oldsmobile Club of America decal.
