  1. Right...and that's why I'm such a train wreck lately. Those 10 to 20 are diverted to something else.
  2. My reply:doubt
  3. Yo, sir, there is a Boulevard with your name in Montreal right north of and parallel to the Autoroute Metropolitaine 40...it says Boulevard Cremazie!
  4. U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E.
  5. Enz, where ya been? My reply: Sandra Bullock (Got stuck watching "Lake House" on the red-eye between San Fran and Toronto 2 weeks ago...awful)

  7. Tonight, I went to Barnes and Noble's cafe' where I study. Yeah, I know, I'm boring. I know the girls who work there and when I was in Montreal for 1 week and came back to town, they asked me "Where have you been?" They told me they notice it when "the regulars" aren't around for a while. At any rate, we started talking about who "the regulars" were and they told me as such. They also told me "the regulars" all have nicknames ...and that we all have quirks! I asked them what mine was. They told me it was "Tea Guy" because I always order tea and it has to be in a mug, not paper. I busted up. Then they told me some other nicknames for other patrons...some were NOT flattering. I have had others. When I worked in Atlanta, I worked in a company in a high rise and if I got wind someone on another floor was having a spread or a buffet, I would invite myself. So, some of the Southern bitches in mumus who worked at their boring desk jobs nicknamed me "The Crumb Chaser." In archi firms, some people call me "Robair" which makes Robert sound French. Heck, I don't know why. Others call me "Roberto". I wonder if it's because I'm into all this foreign bull$h!. ANY NICKNAMES YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN - c'mon, fess up.
  8. I'm not as "techy" as some of these others but 76 Firebird caught my eye. The 75 and 76 F-Birds were the best looking ever, IMHO. I'm a purist. Stay with the carb. that came with it. I don't think a 400 c.i. from PMD was ever mated to TBI, but a 350 probably has been...and my thought would be that only Chevrolet ever did that match up (their small block V8 + TBI). If you did make the switch, you would want to stay with a similar (GM compatible) system and do some looking around to see if a big block Pontiac V8 could accommodate it. Also, what state are you in? You know that some states (especially out West) are real touchy about modifications which impact emissions. However, I would think a single port TBI system ought to be inherently cleaner running than anything with a carburetor. Good luck! That is a fine looking vehicle.
  9. What is the Capt. Picard reference? I don't get it. I inhale soda. When I go to Italy to visit relatives, they stock up on Coca-Cola before I arrive. I know it's really not good for you, but it tastes so damn refreshing on a hot summer day in the Motherland.
  10. What the heck do you do that you make so much money as someone who is still in college and, next question, do you or your family know the owner of the company or the boss? I work 48 hours a week +/- at a professional type job, am taking 9 graduate business credits at night so I can finish in May 2007, use C&G as my smoke break (never have smoked) and am trying to do everything to keep from falling apart before December 18. So quit bitching. :AH-HA_wink:

  16. When is San Pietro e Paolo? My mother always calls Italy on that day for some onomastico wishes to various P and Ps...At any rate, December 13...December folks are cool, arent' they? I didn't look it up, but what I can recall happened was: 2003 - Saddam Hussein captured (reported on 12/14 a.m. here, so 12/13 eve there) 2004 - Scott Peterson found guilty (or sentenced to die) in California for the deaths of Laci and unborn baby Conner What I do know is famous people who share the birthday: Christopher Plummer (actor) Dick Van Dyke (actor) Ted Nugent (musician) Mary Todd Lincoln (political figure) Too bad I wasn't on the day before which would have been with Frank Sinatra, Connie Francis, Dionne Warwick and Bob Barker - the first 3 all of whom sing and were born in New Jersey.
  17. Yeah, but more than the smell of it, I hate "coffee breath."
  18. body Great movie: "Body Heat"

  22. Yo, Ocn, do you suppose you could get another "theme" going? You appear to have a case of monomania. Bob Barker really had the announcer persona, unlike schmucks like Pat Sajac (sp) and especially Monte Hall.
  23. manhole (oh, no, I shouldn't have said that)
  24. Yeah, what a cast of characters. And to think that somewhere in 2003 or 2004 I stumbled onto site looking to get info on the new LaCrosse. AND I STILL HAVEN'T BOUGHT ONE, BUT KEEP RENTING THEM! Yep, some interesting folks: WPBH, 98, Lord Stafford, LeeRon, Budman3, Marc, Chief, Lauren... And do you guys remember Akwan who didn't stick around very long (he was evidently a p*s*y-whipped doctor whose wife pulled his strings)? I think he lived somewhere near Atlanta but maybe in TN or NC.
