  2. So, we`ve never known, you`ve got a wife...but, do YOU have any kids....well....
  3. It`s interesting that a religion (of which I am a member) that has had SOOOO many problems with the clergy will probably get angry at this.In today`s context, this is highly appropriate. It means WE CONTROL this aspect of the sexual contract. Just tonight, I was in my rental car and was channel surfing ... and I got the syndicated Delilah who gets calls from sappy women ... and unbelievably so, from sappy men. This total loser told her that his wife, in the last month of her pregnancy, bolts and he has no idea of her whereabouts. Evidently, the stupid mofo was a sperm donor and God knows where this white trash chick will go raise this kid...the worst would be with some lesbian or something and that he would have to shell out the cash. This is great in that sex could get back to being recreational. Just kidding. That means the only remaining wild card would be STDs. Bring on male birth control, I say!
  4. I went to a Portuguese restaurant in Montreal tonight. It wasn't sexual, but they "harassed" me...in that they were pretty damn rude! The Bife Portuguesa was good, though. The end result: no tip and a bolt toward the door.Back to the thread, who's looking to feel me?

  6. I have little patience...and I prefer to be in motion (driving) rather than wait...BTW, Satty...I LIKE your signature. ain't that the truth!
  7. Damn, and I thought you were MOVING .... to Switzerland ! :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Ditto --however, (1) thought representatives served 4 years instead of 2, and (2) forgot how many amendments the Constitution had Take exception with 2 questions: Question 5 - yes, we supposedly have a market economy, but it's not a pure market economy...whenever you have ANY type of transfer payment (social security, unemployment, food stamps), it is a socialist economy Question 13 - when the president is unable to serve, the FIRST LADY steps in.... ....as we will probably see
  9. I wonder what you were thinking... My response to thread: recreation
  10. Very sad. I saw the list that included hot springs. That's scary, too. Actually, this amoeba also claimed a few lives in Florida sometime this year, IIRC. It was on the MSN home page. However, I would find it hard to dunk myself in fresh water in Florida because of things that have TEETH.

  13. Yes, they seem to be bitter, don't they? Nobody lining up to keep them in bon-bons, you know...
  14. Funny, I'm in Quebec as I am posting and....no license plate on the front of my rented Buick Allure.
  15. Boston(hey, I'm presently in that time zone...but north of the U.S. border! )

  17. record...most of us on C&G are the above in one way or another, right?
  18. In a way - SFV's rim, for those of us from "The Southland" means the foothill suburbs (hence rim) of the San Fernando Valley, where 1.1 million of LA's 3.8 million inhabitants live, yet "the valley" has a land area the size of Chicago.
  19. For me, this isn't a special request ... but avoidance altogether: In the last 10 years, I have probably not ordered anything with bones or scales or shells: ribs, trout, chicken wings, any kind of shellfish. If I have to work at removing bones or scales, it takes away from the eating experience.
  20. What's with these upgrades? Midas Touch with the people at the counter or something? Wow.
  21. Do you have weird requests for food orders that raise eyebrows or elicit sighs from the wait staff or order takers for fast food? Here's a couple of mine: 1. Beverage: 50/50 mix of regular Coke and Diet Coke 2. Bevarage: "easy ice," to get more content, ideally 3. Onions withheld on anything that would have them as a condiment 4. Heavy pickles, olives and tomatoes on anything that would have them as a condiment 5. Side of bleu cheese for dipping my fries (without fail at Bob's Big Boy restaurants) Do you have any such requests (or quirks)?
  22. Ok, I thought about this after my last vacation. I had Grand Prixs back to back in both FL and Atlanta, putting 1,700 miles on the first and 600 on the second one. (I took the Florida car to beautiful Pensacola and back). I've also rented about 10 other Grand Prixs, putting at least 700 miles on each one. When added up, it occurred to me I've exceeded 10,000 miles in rented Grand Prixs. Heck, getting into one and knowing all about them is so reflexive, that if I were to buy one it would be a "non-event." What types of rental "sleds" do you seem to get into most often?
  23. WTFMy reply to thread: sweet potato a staple of Southern cooking
  24. Yeah, it would also mean that it would be more likely that residents of Miami, FLL and Palm Beach County's western suburbs might be more likely to have alligators floating in their back yards...another undesirable side effect
