  2. QUOTE (empowah @ Nov 28 2008, 12:06 PM) sweet potato pancakes Very tasty. Also, since I've gotten more health conscious, I read that this is one of the "Top 10" foods for your well-being (the sweet potato itself).
  3. Don't do it. "Just say no"... to tattoos. My two cents.

  5. The day after Thanksgiving Distance traveled: filled up north of Portland OR and filled up again in Bellingham WA* (20 miles south of the Canadian border) My new Lacrosse with the 3800 V6: about 64 mph (cruise "on") on open stretches and about 60 mph (cruise "off") through metro Seattle. No A/C, obviously. 32.54 mpg. Couldn't believe it. *lots of granolas in Bellingham.

  9. The QE2 arrived in Dubai today. This is very sad, as it is the end of an almost 40-year career "the world's most beloved liner." When it was launched, the ship's profile was remarkably "yacht-like" for its day. You can see the webcam (from the bridge) link on this other website: QE2 webcam from bridge on QE2.org.uk You can also see pictures of the ship in various harbors, including passing the World Trade Center (see exterior photos).

  14. And to you, too. Which side of the border you been living in these days? AB or MT?
  15. Cutlass Supreme = orgasm Welcome back!!!
  16. I think I know what you mean. I prefer the thin crust most of the time but, in the Midwest, there was an awesome chain called Garcia's that did a "stuffed pizza." Unbelievable. If you went for lunch, you had to make sure you wouldn't have to study in the afternoon to sleep...and you could also skip dinner.
  17. Ted Nugent (temos o mesmo aniversario, mais ano diferente)
  18. Robin Leach ("champagne wishes and caviar dreams")
  19. the original Seville was, for the most part, an exercise in good taste.* Other cars copied IT, rather than the other way around. *if the pimpy options were not added on (fake wheel in the back, wide whitewalls, after-market spoke wheels and vinyl tops that were TOO padded).
  20. You were a gentleman NOT to correct my spelling...that's right, with the "gh."
  21. Have you ever gotten substandard food ANYWHERE in Italy? NOT.
  22. limousine liberal (all the expensive ski towns are full of them)
  23. Delicious. That's called a "Margarita" - no, not the drink. There are about 20 STANDARD pizza combos known throughout Italy, that's what the one you described is called, and people over the people over there have these monikers on the tips of their tongues. I think my favorite combo would be called "Quattro Stagioni," or "Four Seasons."
  24. If we can do "haircut," I can do "pizza." I was just munching on some Spanish olives, thinking about how good they'd go on a pizza. Therefore, my ideal pizza would be: Thin crust....then Cheese Pepperoni Mushrooms Mediterranean garden ingredients such as olives, artichokes and seasonings No granola stuff (tofu), no meats that aren't supposed to be there (chicken, ham) and definitely NO pineapple!
