  1. If they sneak in some ocean liner and large commercial aircraft stuff, I could definitely watch.
  2. I don't like shellfish and have gotten sick from it a time or two. Plus, it's not really good for you. Now, the big "steak-like" fish such as halibut, swordfish, mahi mahi and shark are both delicious and good for you (high protein, low fat, lower cholesterol than others)

  4. Mike Hunt
  5. Now I may not go near it. Since I know you're a food connoisseur, I would imagine you like French food. Since they generally don't have French restaurants all over the place, I will have to say it is delicious, when you feel like splurging a little.

  7. Cleopatra
  8. I got burned twice. Both times, I said "ZERO stars"...that means MILD, Mr. Order Taker... They didn't get it...or he has a warped sense of humor. I went home from work sick both times. Now, mind you, I love Cantonese Chinese food and some of the milder, blander dishes...the vegetable chow meins, the beef broccoli, cashew chicken, lemon/orange chicken and the soups...provided they don't have a pungent aftertaste and don't punch you in the stomach when you go back to work.
  9. Moltie, have you ever tried Russian food? It sounds like it might be good. I wonder what it's main staples are...
  10. vasectomy (sp)
  11. Wow, I feel like a lone wolf. Am I the ONLY person that doesn't like Thai? Same thing at work: "Let's go get Thai." "You can go without me."
  12. she's a cutie, S.H.
  13. libertine
  14. mausoleum (my co-workers and I were looking at the mausoleums in B.A.'s Recoleta cemetery on the web yesterday...been there, PCS?)
  15. You and I have nothing in common. (Southern can be good and I always drop in to eat at Mary Mac's when in ATL)

  17. We all like talking about food. It's too hard to construct a mutliple-choice poll for this, so I'm just listing the food I like. 1) Italian food - some of it is better than an orgasm 2) Greek food - a lot of Middle Eastern food is equally good - there are some awesome Greek combo platters caution: there is some bad Greek food out there and, if it's lamb, it has to be fresh and not gamy 3) American food - reliable The food I can't stand is of the variety that will make you "keel over" from the smell when you walk into the place that serves it - Ethiopian, Indian and Thai Your favorite food(s)? (What foods don't you like?)
  18. bounce (the bouncier, the better)
  19. Thanks. As one opens the door, the "cavity" they sit in and the bolts that hold them in, seem reachable. I wondered about the re-keying and am starting to look for the parts. OEM stuff is $$$...aarrgh.
  20. Beja (that's where the crazy drunk guy on the 11pm-6am night train to the Algarve got off)
  21. Not here. Today, on the freeway next to me, en route to the rail station: Last version (2005?2006?) Pontiac GTO - black exterior, red interior, black dash with red instrument cluster bezels. This is indeed a good looking car...had it only been silver...
  22. Good call...living in the foothill suburbs to the east is palatable...oaks, slightly rolling hills, parched yellow/brown in summer, 100 degrees and rattlesnakes sunning themselves...in the winter, heading west to the Coastal Range is like encountering a carpet of green and there are some scary towns far north of the Bay Area and the Wine Country...with Lake County (Clear Lake) reputed to be a one big meth lab.
  23. In San Diego, Phil's BBQ. Wow. I always go for the pre-shredded stuff, like what's in their beef and chicken combo meal, which is awesome. Sidebar: roasted almonds from the Central Valley are awesome...one must stop at the sampling places off 99 between Fresno and LA

  25. I waxed the 92 Regal this past weekend and got an oil change. So far, so good. Went to the train station on Monday. When I got to the parking lot after work, the door handle (spring) gave out. I had to get in through the passenger door, by unlocking the driver door through leaning over the console. What's the story with these? Easy to replace? Re-keying required? You can see most of the assembly inside the pillar. Oh well, after almost 17 years... Any help is appreciated.
